Having issues connecting to folders - with a twist!

Im new to the world of macs, and quite frankly loving it so far, however i have a small problem which i would love some hlep with please.
anyway, my problem i see is well documented on a lot of forums and websites, but ive yet to find a solution in the past couple of hours that works for me, so i thought id come ask the people that know best.
Ok so i have my xp machine, which i want to connect to my mac, nothing odd there i hear you say, well, ive gone through the usual steps, tried to map network drive to \\192.168.0.103\grahammasters <-- my "short" name on the mac lol
and not a thing, well thats not true, i get an error message about not finding it, funny thing is if i go to view network computers i see it, so i click it and it says something about not being accessable, and the path could not be found
So where is this different from everyone else then?
well, i go to the other room, sit down, pick up my mac keyboard, click "network" and voilla, i can access the stuff from my pc no problem.
So im stumped, sorry if im just being a complete noob, but i just cant crack this.
Information that may be useful:
- both PC and mac are on the same workgroup
- windows file sharing is enabled on the mac and an account selected
- tried turning firewall off on pc in case that made a difference, but it may be my wireless routers firewall?
- when using personal web site thing, i can connect to the original webpage on the mac from the xp machine.
As far as i can see everything "should" be ok, so any light shed on this would be sweet.

Installing 8i on Linux7.0

Hi, I am trying to install 8i on Linux 7.o but can not run the installer "runlns.sh", The error message is:
SIGSEGV 11* segmentation violation
and some other mess.
When I try to run "runInstaller", the error is:
Error in CreateOUIProcess(): -1
: Bad address
I have tryed jre116, jre117, and jre118. All of them did not work and got the same error.
Someone hlep me please.

What do you mean by Linux 7.0? I've installed successfully Oracle 8i (8.1.6.1) on a Suse 7.0.
I suggest that you remove any path or classpath reference to java binaries or classess at the time of installing.

Last Movement Report (only last movement)

Hi Gurus,
I need your help about one doubt that I have.
One user need run one report that list only the last movement about one or more material in one period.
In fact, today he use the MB51 report, but is very slow and list all movement in one period (he don't need to see all movement, just the last movement).
I try to search other report with this option, but I can't find it.
Someone knows other report with this option ?

Unable to login to BPM workspace

Team,
I am not able to login into BPM workspace with anyother user other then weblogic. I have created a seperate user in weblogic with ADMIN access, but still I am not able to login to workspace. Can anyone hlep me please

Issue is resolved, Its the issue with user, After 12.1.3 instllation I am trying to login to bpm workspace with jcooper user, then I found that jcooper user is not present in weblogic embedded LDAP, So I have created it manually , and tried to login to bpm workspace with jcooper, still It did not allowed me to login tp BPM workspace. If I created a different user, it works
The isssue is that in 12.1.3. we have to deploy demoCommunitySeed ("https://java.net/projects/oraclesoasuite11g/downloads/directory/HumanWorkflow workflow-001-DemoCommunitySeedApp").

How to remove Administrator(not me) and file being locked even thought my MacPro is one week old?

Hi guys, Recently I just bought MacBook Pro Retina 13". After that I found out I got Remote DIsc Which I can never look or see thru or even delete it. There is more, with world Icon called Network but i can;t so anything. At the same time, when I checked owner or permission of my own Local Hard drive or folder, it was locked and I can't even allow to untick it. Even worse, in "get info" permission for Read or Write is occupied by "Administrator (Clearly not me since i can't change anything at all), Wheel, System" and every time I set password and trying to changed the onwership, the cursor frozen, Finder frozen, everything frozen. I can't even force quit them so I have no choice to pressed power button to restart and when log in, the loading bar will stuck in the middle or somewhere and it won't move (I fell asleep till afternoon and still the same) until I reinstall the OsX Yoesmite. The installation took me sometimes over 100 hours. That processes were happening again and again like a life cycle. So I can't even restart or shutdown my laptop ever otherwise it will stuck during boosting. I tried everything SMC, Safe mode, Restart DIsck, Reovery, Disk Utilities it doesn't work. Every time i checked my Activity Monitor, weird things like itunehelper, MirgrationAssistant, KernelAissistantManager, ScriptAssistant, and other apps that I did not run. It even sometime stop me from using my own wifi from broadband. Can anyone hlep me please. I am losing my mind . . .Please

When I first got the app of Face time, it let me use just fine, and now it won't connect when someone is trying to call me or when I call someone. I don't know if its because of the internet that I have or if it has something to do with my computer. I did updates on it, I tired to turn off and on face time and nothing could work. Either force the phone into recovery mode, as described here:

Or, login to iCloud.com, on your computer, locate the phone, then erase it.
Either will remove the passcode.

I brought my blackberry bold 9000 at rebursihed store which also told me straight talk would work with ATT Blackberry Phone.
Major lie straight talk does not and tried boost mobile they only handle sprint blackberry , and I also tried radio shack for a buy back they offer six dollars. I purchases the phone here in columbia mo at green mobile store for 100.00 dollars.
So now I have phone I explained to store,if It works with straight talk then no problem. Plus I think it is lock please someone out their have a heart and try to help me out please. Already out of pocket 100.00 dollars please help.
