I have an ipod video I have had it for about 3 months and 4 some reason when I connect it to my computer is not recognizing it anymore but my ipod says its charging however when I take it out its not charged at all WHATS WRONG HELP!!!!!!

It wouldn't open unless I clicked "upgrade." The other option was "cancel." The Genius at the Apple Store said I had no choice. The new stuff looks idfferent but maybe it's just taking a while to go through all my photos. I can't tell what is going on exactly, but I'm nervous to see the last slideshow there is 2010.
We are backed up on Carbonite, but the hoops to go through getting specific items back seems daunting to me.

Take it in to an Apple Store if you can. The genius bar can very quickly test if it is just the battery showing its age or not. If it is the battery, you can get it replaced through Apple

Depending on how it has been used though, it may not be the battery. My old iPhone 32GB 3Gs is still good for about 6-7 hours of continuous use (as an iPod touch these days) and it was bought new in 2009 shortly after the 3Gs became available at AT&T stores. So yours might be experiencing some hardware failure not the actual battery itself.

I'm using CS 5.5, Mac OS 10.8.4. I've spent the last two nights trying to figure this out but I am really stuck this time... I think the issue I'm having is similar to IDEAMAN1 but I got lost on his advice after trying some stuff out, so help would be greatly appreciated!! (I'm only medium-level tech savvy...)
Trying to create my first epublication. Downloaded FolioPanel v26 and installed it, then FolioProducerTools v27 and installed it. Realised I had stuffed it up so uninstalled both using the uninstaller. Re-downloaded FolioProducerTools v27, FoiioPanel v27 and installed in that order and popup said the updates were ready to go. Opened InDesign and folio builder panel said "An update is required to use Folio Builder. Please click here to download the Folio Producer tools.". The link brought me to http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=172&platform=Macintosh which is where I downloaded the original files anyway.
So I've tried uninstalling, restarting the computer, trashed preferences, closed CS5.5ServiceManager, reinstalling heaps of times and not sure what I should try next. Please help!! Thanks!!!!

That notification is often a bug.
I get it regularly when I launch InDesing while connected to my Thunderbolt Display.
If I disconnect my Macbook from the Display, relaunch InDesign it works fine - reconnecting to Thunderbolt display after this also still allows the Folio Producer tools to load properly.

I have seen in another thread this same error with no resolution. All I've seen are people trying to fix a problem on the PB when it is a desktop problem not the PB! I have had the same error from more than one desktop PC with nothing in common. What does it take to get an answer? This ec error is happening to more and more people with no help.

I also have had troubles with this update. It would not install so I shut down and tried to this morning. It continued to stay on the gray screen with the loading wheel. I left it there loading when I left the house because it didn't finish. I am thinking of running Disk Utility when I get back home.
The reason for this post is I have been looking on the forums to many posts about this and I am getting lost on the exact way about going about getting this installer to work and everything to run smooth. If you have gotten it to work correctly or know a way to run it correctly please post here what you did. It would be the greatest help and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help!

This really isn't going to be much help for you, Kyle, because all I did was Click Software Update and hit install. That's pretty much all I ever do. I do have a cloned backup so restoration is trivial perhaps explaining the casual approach but that said, never had to restore either.

How to remove 'Please click here to Respond' link in email notification?

Hi All,
The links in the workflow email notification that goes to timecard approvers when a timecard has been submitted.
It is causing a lot of confusion to the customer, so we would like the "Please click here to Respond" and "Click here to view attachment" be removed.
The "Please click here to Respond" is causing more problems but it would be great if both could be removed?
Can any one please tell me how to remove the above links in wokflow email notification?

Everyone Is having Problems and Are vert frustrated. So when someone has sucessfully transfered their videos onto the ipod. please post here & explain how you did it, what you used and details if possible. We all need to work together to get this right. Since apple Isnt going to help it's up to us.
I Am going to pick up my ipod video tomorrow, i already have my videos loaded into itunes and they work fine, i am going to see if they transfer to my ipod video then. I Will post if successful.
I Am also going to talk to a mac genius tomorrow at the apple store when i purchase my ipod video. We will overcome this i promise!!!

My ipod just came yesterday, it originally said delivery 10-21 but that changed to 10-18 and I missed fedex, so I had to go and pick it up. As a result I couldn't play with conversion so much. But here is what I found and what I plan to try. maybe we can try to keep a dialog going of what people are testing and what works. As the new ipods become more available more of the bigger players will come out with converters. Right now the best bet is to use encoders designed for the psp, which is hit or miss.
PSP movie creator seems to work for mpeg4, haven't gotten h.264 to work but didn't spend that much time.
320x240, will try 400x192 tonight. make sure you go from mpeg to mp4.
I could not get videorama to work, at least not with the defaualt options. I will try again today.
IPSP does not seem to want to work.
PSPvideo 9 did not seem to work, but I spent only a few minutes with it.

I erased some songs accidentally from my computer. (more like 100), my IPOD updates automatically. WHAT CAN I DO to stop it from automatically updating and erasing all my songs??? When i connect my ipod is there anyway to stop it from automatically updating and erasing everything?? I dont have it set to manual now.

Go into the main menu on ITunes, click on "EDIT", then on "PREFERENCES" - there should be a couple of settings there on the IPOD tab to click on and off the auto-update settings.
That should keep your Ipod from getting updated - I'm not sure how to get your deleted music (still on your Ipod, right?) back into ITunes - if I understand your issue, you probably want the Itunes to get updated from the Ipod and not the other way around right? On that point I'm useless, but the preferences should at least keep your Ipod from updating in the meantime.

Okay, so I lost my comments in the switch to Mobile Me. I got my money back from my purchase of .Mac. My comments still appeared on iWeb, there was just no way to publish them or to copy and paste them.
I recently started my new Wordpress blog, which is way better by the way, and started the slow process of transferring blog posts from iWeb. My comments were still there on each post, so, I decided to snap a photo of each set of comments using the screen shot function, and paste the photo into the end of each entry on my new blog.
Then disaster strikes, AGAIN!!! My comments suddenly disappeared from my iweb! I don't have Mobile Me anymore, I'm talking about the iWeb on my computer! I had no idea they would disappear from my own computer! I did nothing to make them go away, I just opened iweb a couple times ???? I am so upset, after finding a way to save my comments (this is three years of comments from my sons blog since he was born, so they are very important to me!) they suddenly disappear! Can things be any worse with this program?
Please help me find my comments again!!! Where are they? They have to be saved somewhere on my computer because they were showing up for months before this happened! Help me get them back, please! I really, really, need those comments. It is very sentimental for us!

Desperate here- Please help!! Setting a max size on the Photo in a Gallery

I have a client who has 1,000s of picturea there are MANY of their pictures which are HUGE. So the thumbnail is fine I can alter those ratios, but is there a way to alter the size the picture can be when clicked on and it enters the slideshow/gallery mode? Is there a way to set a max size and make that alteration all at once- instead of resizing every picture? If so, how?
Also, is there a way to take the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons off the module under the thumbnail?

Hi there,
Editing the CSS to scale the large images is a real bad idea, especially huge ones as being indicated by you both. These images are large and larger file size and will take a long time to download, especially on mobiles. Changing the CSS so they appear smaller does not change that at all.
You need upload images that are web optimised and scaled correctly first, this is really a good must for proper management.
In terms of the thumbnail images you need to just modify the module paramaters to get the size and scale you want so this is done server side and the images served already scaled.

HP LaserJet 1022 Printing Problems - Please Post Here

Sorry, I hate to create a new thread, but tracking so many different threads on this one issue is becoming problematic for me. So with that being said, if you are still having a problem with printing to a LaserJet 1022 after the full uninstall I detailed in the FAQ thread followed by installing version 2.2 of the HP driver package, then let me know here. And specifically I want to know is which device you have, how your device is connected, the print driver version, and what apps are giving you problems. In my own personal testing, here is what I have found:
USB direct connect - OK, I have yet to run into a problem here.
USB connected to an Airport Extreme N - OK, I have yet to run into a problem here.
USB connected to an Airport Express G - Paused problem. I got print job/page out and then the printer paused and would not resume. I don't have a functioning work around here yet, but I'm trying.
So if I were going to fill out my own form, it would look like this:
Printer: LaserJet 1022n
Connection: USB connected to an Airport Express G (Firmware version 6.3)
Driver Version: 1.1.0.182
Apps: All
Problem Description: Printer queue goes into a Paused mode and won't resume
And to get you started, I have left a blank template at the end of this post.
Also please make sure to include whether you have the 1022, 1022n, or 1022nw AND how it is connected to your Mac. If users of the 1020, what to chime in on this thread that is OK. Anyone else, please post in the FAQ thread or a different device specific thread. As the 1022 seems to be the most problematic at the moment, I'd like to track this down as quickly as possible.

I hope someone in support will get this message. I heavily rely on HERE Transit here in Perth, because the oficial Transperth Website is terrible, there is no official Windows Phone App (only Iphone and Android) and Public Transport here is difficult to get your head around here, to put it mildly.
This January a lot of the bus timetables got changed and now the previously fantastic HERE app got a little bit useless, because it still uses old info.
Please Nokia people.... get the updated tables from transperth as soon as youn can, if you are not already working on it. Thx heaps !!
