think thats no bug, its perhaps another kind of getting script control.
but I don't find any information in HELP2.0, but you will find in HELP1.6.
short question: how to do script control (in 1.6. there was an element for it)

Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit 2 don't find running Indesign Server CS3

I develop a plugin and differnet Javascripts who interact with this plugin. Now I like to debug my plugin and this Javascript. I start the debugger in Visual Studio 2005, this starts my Indesign Server CS3 (Debug) using the port 18383. Now I like to connect with this server in Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit 2, but this application don't find the running server. Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit 2 want do start an Indesign Server, but there is one running.
I havn't installed the release verision of the server on my PC.
- Why does Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit 2 dont find the running server?
- Port?
- Can I change anything to fix this behaviour?

HansIn the meantime I've read some more documentation.
You can specify a configuration name on the command line, default is "configuration_12345" if the -port is 12345.
Apparently you can then add the configuration name to the target expression, e.g. create a new script with this line
#target "indesignserver_configuration_12345"
Run the script - the target is recognized (no dialog "server ... is not running") and from now on shows up in the target dropdown of ESTK.
Right now though after a long timeout I can't talk to any scripting engine of my CS4 server.
The status line displays "Can't initialize target", maybe some startup problem my server is having.

SAP-Script Control on a Dynpro

I am trying to implement a SAP-Script control on a Dynpro (a PA-Infotype) using the class CL_GUI_SAPSCRIPT_EDITOR.
Basically this works pretty smooth but I am facing an odd problem:
How can I determine that the user made changes to the text and I therefor need to save the Infotype and the content of the control? I found this suitable looking method IS_MODIFIED of said class which seems to return a boolean value that indicates wether there have been changes made or not.
Sadly though this method always returns false.
Has anybody a clue as to what needs to be done here?

I just installed MS Office 2013 but I don't find where the programs are.
I just installed MS Office 2013, when I try to access Excell or Word, I don't find them in my system. In the past, as soon as you install MS Office, each program (Excel, Word, Power Point) shows in the desktop.

i hope someone gets this who can help me. i don't find anything helpful in the help section of icloud. i'm using my 4th generation itouch for about 3 weeks with the ical. but today when i tried to edit an event or add an event a window would pop up and say "event can't be saved" or "no calendar chosen" or something like "this event doesn't belong with this calendar" and stuff like that.

As far as I know the Toshiba Controls utility is responsible for key usage.
Did you try to install Toshiba Controls?

The person who posted the issue on this forum had upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8, and then this issue occurred. That is the reason I asked if this Windows 8 was upgraded. hallo, after upload iPad air and iPhone 5 to iOS 8 (and few days ago Mac to Yosemite, version 10.10), I don't find in my iPad air and in my iPhone 5 photos I can see in iPhoto (version 9.6) on my Mac's Cloud. I tried to add manually from library to iCloud's streaming photo with no result. in iPhoto's events I've 940 photos, in iPhone and iPad about 450. I have in mobile devices only photos taken with iPhone. thank

On 10.6.8 you can update to 9.2.3.
You really need to rethink you're computing habits. Using a computer without a back up is like driving without a safety belt. Updating the OS and applications without one is like driving blindfolded and drunk without a safety belt...
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store -

You mean, you are trying to search text in a PDF file, and you can do it in Reader 9 but not in later versions of Reader (using the same file)?

The download function is not working....!! I don't use any add-ons like idm or dap,etc.... When I click on something like download a doc,pdf or any such file, the firefox just doesn't respond, and when I checked the download, i.e. cntrl+j, I don't find anything in the downloads... I am currently using Firefox 7.0.1....... Nothing is being downloaded, and I am forced to use IE8 for everything... I even tried re-installing, but doesn't help... I am using Windows 7
TonyE is correct the plugin version comes with Adobe's Reader X.
The failure in communication is two parted:
1. Reader X is not Acrobat (Mozilla Plugin Checker)
2. Acrobat is not mentioned in the Reader X download Page (Adobe)
therefore confused clients.

i simply don't find the mistake in that code. it's supposed to browse through a folder you specify and then print out all the files, folders (+ the files in there etc.) into a text file (txt or doc). the output in the eclipse console is correct, but the output to the file is not. if i want to write it to a file (txt or doc) it only browses/writes the top level files and folders. contents of subfolders are not witten into the file? so apparently the recursion doesn't work when i write into a file. but why is that?! below my code...
