I've been catching up on The Office online through my xfinity streampicks subscription, but now I get an error message saying "Hmmm, we're having trouble watching that page." I just watched an episode yesterday, and the last season JUST ended at the beginning of the summer. Is it really gone from streampicks??

Having Trouble Installing Adobe Reader, Error Messages
Hi,
I've tried the direct Adobe Reader for Unix from Adobe, both the tar and slackware. I've also tried several packages from my distros' repo. None are working.
Most attempts seem to install and give a confirmation, but when I call from the menu, nothing happens. When I call from a terminal I get this innocuous error message: terminate called after throwing an instance of 'ASErrException' I have no idea what this is.
I use both LightHouse64 514b and Fatdog64 521f. I've installed the 32bit compatibility stuff from my distro in both (Puppy Linux).
I know some of whatever is wrong could be on my distro end, and I am seeking help there too.
Can anyone explain what this error message is, and what calls it?
Also, I would really like to see a tree of Adobe Reader files so that I could make sure that everything is where it's supposed to be. Could anyone point me somewhere?

EathrayWhat kind of trouble? What platform and version of OS? Any error messages? How are you trying to install Reader? Any previous versions of Reader and/or Acrobat installed?

Having trouble burning a dvd - error message.
I recently bought a 2009 macbook on ebay, and when I tried to burn a dvd, it didn't work and would scratch up my discs. I informed the person I bought it from, and they were nice enough to replace the drive. I just got it back in the mail and have been trying to burn dvds, but I keep getting an error message when using Toast version 10 and also trying on Toast 8 that says:
The Drive reported an error;
Sense Key = Medium Error
Sense Code = 0x02
NO SEEK COMPLETE
It will start burning on and then when writing the lead out on toast 10, it gives me an error, and that was the error message I caught when I tried to burn using toast 8. With toast 8 it barely started before that message came up. I have been trying with Sony DVD-R discs that I am able to use on my mom's iMac from 2008. I'm confused; should I try a different kind of disc?Welcome to discussions.
Be certain to use good DVD media.
You may want to try using Verbatim or Maxell DVD-R 4X.
Also, save the project as a disk image and burn it as slowly as possible with either the disk utility or Toast™.

I'm having trouble with my Pages app. Over half of my document show that they are updating. I cannot open or delete the documents. Does anyone know a fix for this? Please help.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. I would like to print a four sided programme, but am having trouble finding out how to organise the sections onto a 17 by 11 paper with the sections in the right order. Any help?
If all you are going to do is print double sided and them make
a single fold reducing the page to 8 1/2 x 11, one side of the
original 17 x 11 page will be page 4 on the left as you hold
the page facing you and page 1 on the right, reverse side
should be printed so top is same as top on the the first side
and will be page 2 to the left and page 3 to the right. Pick
up the double sided document with pages 2 and 3 facing you, fold
left edge to meet right edge; you should now have fold on the left
with page 1 facing up toward you, turn the page as you normally
would and pages 2 & 3 should be in order, and one more turn brings
you to page 4 and the fold should know be on the right. I hope this
explains clearly enough - if not, post back and some one should
join in with a better explanation. -

Hello guys. I'm having trouble opening Instagram pages with Safari. I try to open them and it seems to be loading for one second, but then it's all blank, there's nothing on the screen. Funny thing is, when I try to open an Instagram page that doesn't exist, it opens the Instagram NOT FOUND page. I don't know what's going on. I've tried everything, from software updates to restarting my Mac etc. Please help.

Because that site refers you to apps for smartphone devices. Not for your Mac.
Regardless of the Instagram website, v10.5.4 is an outdated version of Safari. You need to update your system software.
Click your Apple menu top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click Software Update.
Restart your Mac after the updates are installed, then try Instagram on Safari. -
Having trouble finding Character viewer
I am having trouble finding the Character Viewer. I've looked in the Launchpad and also in Finder under Applications. If I accidentally sent it to the Trash and emptied it can I reinstall?
OS X 10.8.5Actually I'm not looking for the Font Book , I'm looking for the Character Viewer. FontBook I can find and it does not appear to give me what I want. I was already using the Character Viewer quite a bit for a while, using it to find the pi sign, upside down exclamation points, fractions, foreign currency symbols and stuff like that.
I suspect I turfed the app without realizing what I was doing at the time. This is my first Mac and I am still acclimatizing to it. Like I said, it can't be found in Finder under Applications so I'm thinking it must be missing. -

Are you still unable to set up your email? A fix for the issue has recently been implemented. Please try setting up the email again and keep me posted if you have any issues.

You have to choose – one settigf or another.
The thing is.your HD clips will look better in an SD project than your SD clips will in an HD project.
WIthout knowing much more about your project and the kind of content, it's really hard to be specific. But generally I'd let my project settings be guided by what fraction of my timeline will be made up of HD clips and how much SD clips. If it's 75% HD, I'd probably do an HD project…and so on,
