HMRC forms are in excel format, what do I need to open them ?

I am referring to the Gift Aid forms which are offered for excel users in one format and LibraOffice also. I am aware the general forms are in PDF but I require the interactive forms which I can fill in on line

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. You can't play movies in iPhoto. But, you can in quicktime, which is installed along with the OS. Just double click on the .mov file and quicktme should start.

Photoshop should be able to handle cropping your TIFF file, possibly Photoshop Elements as well which would cost less. You should get the trial version to make sure rather than buying before trying.
You might also want to check if you already have something on your machine that can do it. On a PC you should be able to right click the image and choose "Open With" whereby a menu of programs should appear with programs that can open the file. You can check to see if any of those listed provide the cropping tool.

If your restored from a backup and the apps that are missing on the device show "Open" in the App Store, then they are located on other pages on your iPhone or are in folders. Also, with the iOS 7 update most developers have changed icon badging. This can cause some applications to be difficult to find.

What do i need to open programs???

hi all i have stuffit expander and it works fine. however, there are things i need to open but i cant and was wondering what i need to do.
i want to open an icon. it is a black rectangle with a little green bit on it. looks a bit like a credit card. it always opens with ableton by defult and when i try to use the expander program it wont. just says somethin bout being compressed.

What extension does the file have? If you don't know what an extension is... it's the 3 letters after the period of a file,which descibes to the copmuter what the file type is.

Iphoto recognizes my camera but will not import the photos becasue of the format, what do I need to do?

Need to do a re-format, what do i need to keep?

hi, I need to re-format my desk top computer and re-install my OS. I've got a big i-tunes library and have spent ages organising it and importing artwork so don't want to lose anything. All my music is stored on an external drive so won't be touched by the re-install.
What I want to know is what files do I need to keep in order for my I-tunes to operate in the same way after the OS re-install?
I presumed it would be the files in my c drive-> programme files -> I-tunes folder so did a dummy run by transfering these files to my laptop, and connecting my external drive and mapping it to the same letter. It didn't work.
Have I missed some files?

Copy the entire _*iTunes folder*_ in My Documents/My Music to the external.
Then copy it back after you fromat.
You can even keep it on the external and use it.
Click the icon to launch iTunes then immediately press and hold Shift.
iTunes will ask if you want to *Create new library* or *Use existing library*.
Select *Use exisiting library* and select the *iTunes library.itl* file in the *iTunes folder* you copied to the external.
