HO 6730b USB display problems (3 screen output)

I need my laptop to have a three screen display output. Primary Notebook, two external monitors secondary.
I can get this configuration to work using a USB dsiplay link adapater (UGA-2K-A). Other monitors on docking station either through VGA or DVI.
But in this configuration which ever is plugged in via usb I have a red/pink hue on any whites on screen. Odd as this dosent show up on screenshots??

To get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial product. You can do this at Commercial Forums. Here is a link to show you connecting for more than 2 monitors connected to your laptop. Note you laptop screen counts as 1 monitor.

Display Problem in ALV output

Hi Experts,
My fieldcatalog table is populated by using FM "REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE". But the fields qfieldname & qtabname is populated for one of the records in the catalog table which is creating problem in my output.
qfieldname is populated with previous fieldname in my internal table declared and qtabname with my int.table name. I was trying to sum the field but the value is splitted here.
when i manually remove qfieldname & qtabname am getting proper output.
why this two fields are populated? could anyone help...

The two properties QFILDNAME & QTABNAME are for 'field with quantity unit' and the 'table name'. These field will get populated for Quantity fields....
In your case the quantity unit may be different for the records you are suming up...
if you want to remove these fields value ...
loop at i_fieldcat into wa_fieldcat.
       if wa_fieldcat-fieldname = field name.
          wa_fieldcat-qfieldname = ' '.
          wa_fieldcat-qtabname   = ' '.

Late 2011 model display problems: white screen and shuts off on its own

A few days ago my macbook pro (late 2011 model) starting going nuts. The screen would turn white or become pixelated all the sudden, even if all i'm running is Chrome. The laptop is not over heated. This is what would happen:
Screen goes white or become pixilated
Computer shuts off on its own after a moment
Attempt to reboot, stuck on apple logo screen (pixilated)
Shuts off on its own again
The only way to reboot is through safe mode.
I've tried resetting SMC and running an apple hardware check.

It's most likely the macbook pro 2011 denied by apple GPU problem many many others suffer from too.

Problem in using at selection-screen output

Hai Frnds,
I am using 5 parameters in the selection screen . I am entering data in the 4 input fields. Then I am doing concatenate 4 fileds data into the 5th field in the event AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT, but my problem is When ever i click ENTER , then only 5th field is updating. With out ENTER key , Is it possible update 5th filed.

User the Concatenation in AT SELECTION-SCREEN EVENT
because AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT is triggered before
selection screen is displayed.Below code will definitly work.

Let the battery fully darain. After charging for an least an hour try a reset and restore. Use Recovery mode if necessary.
If not successful, then time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Problem in the code while fetching records and displaying in the screen

At selection screen output problem when a field is obligatory

I have two radiobuttons on the selection screen and when I select first radiobutton one screen should display and the other should not be displayed and vice-versa. Obligatory fields with your requirement will not work, reason : The GUI checks obligatory fields before passing the control back to the program (i.e Before triggering the PAI )
If you check for empty fields and give appropriate error message in the PAI, the program will not allow you to switch to the other radio button until you fill something in the fields because the moment you select a radiobutton, it will validate the field and issue the error message.
So it is like a catch 22 situation.
All you can really do is to check see which radio button is clicked and then do your processing. Also make sure to assign a user command to the radiobutton and query it in the AT SELECTION SCREEN and based on the radiobutton selected, decide which fields should be validated.

if in a variant the parameters field is set invisible i also want to set the pushbutton invisible

I agree - there seems to be some confusion here. In the variant the field can only be "hidden" while in the code it is possible to make the field completely invisible. 'Hiding' the field in the variant merely hides it by default and adds a 'plus' button to the toolbar, by clicking which the hidden elements can be exposed.
As far as changing the screen fields goes, I find it usefull to use MODIF ID. Perhaps this blog could be helpful:

To display the selection screen variant name in WAD report output.

Hello experts,
I have a requirement which is to display the selection screen variant description in the output of the WAD report.
I managed halfway, by using the object "Information field", which displays all the values which are selected by the variant.
Example:I have created a cost center report created using WAD, since I need some graphical displays..
In the selection screen, I have the characteristic "cost center" as input field. I have created a variant " GM - IT" which will include few cost centers managed by GM. In the output, I want the dispaly to be "Cost center - GM IT". Currently it displays "Cost Center - a,b,c,d" as the values a,b,c,d are the values from the variant name "GM-IT"
Please let me know if this required any java script. I am not familiar with java / html codes and any help would be much appreciated (and rewarded)

Try this.
If you want to include your variables in your WAD means you have to choose "Force Variable Screen" option to be in enabled condition.
TO enable this,in WAD select your Template(New Template1) click the WEBITEM , it'll shows all generic properties , here you can enable this "Force variable screen"
Save and execute your WAD now you can get your variable screen.

USB Speaker/LED Cinema Display Problems After Upgrade to Mavericks

I just upgraded to Mavericks this morning. My set-up includes a new (Late 2013) 27" iMac and a 27" Apple LED Cinema Display, with the mini display port and USB connected from the display to the iMac.
I have a set of Bose USB speakers that I had plugged into the USB port on the Cinema Display for audio. I didn't want to waste one of the USB 3 ports on the iMac so instead was using a USB 2 port on the Cinema Display. This worked fine before upgrading to Mavericks.
Now with Mavericks installed, if I have the speakers plugged in, I get a tone that sounds like very loud feedback. If I plug the USB speakers into one of the USB 3 ports on the iMac however, it works fine.
Does anyone know if this is a known issue with Mavericks? I've read some other posts about display issues, but they were referencing USB displays. In this case the display is connected via mini displayport, but the USB connection on the display seems to be causing issues.
Anyone else experienced this?

I've been experiencing additional issues with USB speakers. I plugged them into a USB port on the iMac itself (as opposed to the LED Cinema Display) and the feedback was gone. However, now I get situations where the audio appears to randomly "die" on the system. If I go into Audio preferences and switch the audio output to the internal speakers, the audio comes back on. If I then switch it back to the USB speakers, it continues to work until it randomly dies again. This happens typically 3-5 times a day.
If I just use the internal speakers as the audio output, I don't get any issues with losing the audio. The USB speakers worked fine on the iMac before upgrading to Mavericks, and still work fine on my late 2011 MBP still running 10.8.5.
I've read about other similar issues (http://www.imore.com/losing-audio-os-x-mavericks-heres-what-you-can-do-about-it). Still waiting for a fix.

Go to System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing.
In the Display area, reset it to "Black on white" by clicking that checkbox.
You can also reset it by pressing Command-Option-Control-8

T61 On-screen button display problems

Hello, I've been having a problem with my T61 and was wondering if anyone on here could help me out. My laptop recently crashed, having the blue screen on startup, causing me to reinstall Windows Vista again and all. I managed to recover all my files and everything seems to be back to normal except for a few things. First thing that annoys me the most is that whenever I use my volume buttons on the keyboard, the volume up and down works but does not show up in green text, like before, saying what volume number it is at. In addition to this, my mute button only mutes volume but does not unmute the volume afterwards. Like the up and down volume buttons, the shortcut keys of Fn+Home and Fn+End to increase and decrease brightness of the screen do work, but do not display the on-screen green text. One other problem I have is that my ThinkVantage blue button next to the volume buttons does not work at all. Lastly, my larger battery icon does not show up anymore in the toolbar to the left of the clock and the small picture icons next to the clock. I hope that these problems can be solved through these forums and thank you very much for all your help!

It would seem that you did a clean install of Vista instead of a system recovery. If that's what you did, you're missing a bunch of Lenovo specific utilities, including the OSD and Power Management applets.
Have you run Sytem Update yet? If you don't have the application, go to http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/homeLenovo.do?country=us and let the page autodetect your system and then find the appropriate download for the Updater. Once the updater is installed, use it to gather the rest of the stuff you need. Good luck.

Need help with 21" imac display problem. The resolution seems to be unsual, everything on the desktop background goes off the screen. The resolution is set at 1920 x 1080

Quit the game and restart the iPad.
To quit the game - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesn't work try this.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Screen display problem with Lenovo 3000 N100

Hi,
My Lenovo laptop is having a problem with screen display. When i boot the laptop (keeping the screen at 90 degrees to the key board) , there is no display . However, when i tilt it down (lesser than 45 degrees) the display comes back to normal.
In addition, the mystery is that this doesnt happen if do the same after 5 minutes. No matter at what position i have the screen, it works perfect!
Is there a solution for this ? Can some one explain why the display is normal after warming up, but not in the begining (booting) stage.

I had to re-seat mine , and I still have to wiggle the upper right corner .
A common issue I here,although I just purchased a second used N100 and the screen has no issures.
