Ho un problema con Iphoto AIUTOOOOOOOOOOOooooo.
Per un errore ho eliminato dal Finder tutte le immagini e ora le vedo solo in anteprima AIUTOOOOoooooo.

Ho avuto un problema con iphoto sul mio Mac.
Praticamente mi si è aperta una nuova libreria e mi sono sparite tutte le foto che in precedenza avevo caricato!

Per creare una nuova libreria foto:
1. Uscire da iPhoto.
2. Tenere premuto il tasto Opzione mentre si apre iPhoto.
3. Nella finestra che appare, fare clic su Crea nuovo.
4. Digitare un nome e scegliere una posizione per memorizzare la nuova libreria di foto.
5. Fare clic su Salva.
L'elenco Sorgente di iPhoto mostra la tua nuova libreria vuota foto. Le foto importate vengono aggiunte a questa libreria.
È possibile passare a un'altra libreria che hai creato in qualsiasi momento.
Per passare da librerie di foto:
1. Uscire da iPhoto.
2. Tenere premuto il tasto Opzione mentre si apre iPhoto.
3. Selezionare la libreria che si desidera passare.
4. Fare clic su Scegli.

Hola, tengo un problema con iphoto.
Hola, hace mas de 2 dias tengo un problema con mi iphoto cuando lo abro se congela y no hace nada y la unica manera de salir es forzando la salida. Ya lo he intentado actualizando la versión del programa y aún sigue con el mismo problema.
Prueba reseteando el telefono: pulsa el boton de "home" el el de prender/apagar al mismo tiempo hasta que aparezca el logo de Apple.
Si esto ne resuelve el problemaL lleva el telefono a una tienda Apple or centro de servicio autorizado. El telefono esta aun en garantia. -

i've a problem with album. If i edit a photo in album, the photo changes also in library.

It's the same photo. Albums simply reference photos in the LIbrary. They are the same file of the same photo. For different versions you'll need to duplicate the shot first.

Problema con visualizzazione file raw in aperture
ho un problema con la lettura dei miei vecchi file raw sia in iphoto se rielaboro la foto sia in aperture
Credo che dopo l'aggiornamento ci siano stati i problemi.
Vengono visualizzati rossi solo i piu vecchi, gli ultimi file inseriti invece sono perfetti.

I'm using iPhoto 11, and instead of seeing my images in the main view, I see only outlines. (Had same problem in iPhoto 10 before upgrade to Lion Help!
I'm on a Macbook Pro and all of my software is up-to-date.
The photos and events, etc. appear to be present in my photo library, but I cannot see the actual images--only an outlined placeholder.Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to rebuild the thumbnails. This can take 3 or 4 goes to work.

my computer has some serious problems, my iphoto only shows only shows thumb size pics when I try to open them, i tried to rebuild my files from folders that had the pics in them. originally all the photos had a large delta with a question mark. also I can't back up the library file because its not there. I went to time machune and tried to find the file but I can't find it or I am looking in the wrong place. I also lost my Idvd file, only have broken chain showing.

Exactly what did you do and how did you do it? this ay be the cause of your issue but without details we can n=ony guess

This makes no sense at all - all of your previous statements indicate that you do have an iPhoto library but have some problems with it
By default your iPHoto library is located in your Pictures folder and is named iPhtoo library - if tha tis not the case the you have moved or renamed it and only you know what you did until you tell us the details

Applications should not disappear all by themselves.
If they are then that coud indicate serious problems with your hard drive.
Backup everything up as quickly as possible.
Using Disk Utility verify your system disk.

I upgraded to Mountain from Snow and find that there is now a problem adding iphoto to the cloud. I have iphoto '08,version 7.1.5. Tried to follow one poster's advice and upgrade to 9.1 but I need 9.0 first and I can't find that. suggestions? thanks!
You have to buy iPhoto from the Mac App Store.

Problem with iPhoto 9.3.2: Any assistance or how to re-install?
Hi all,
I've got a problem with iPhoto 9.3.2 whereby upon startup, I get a spinning wheel which goes on forever (I've left the computer alone for 5 hrs and coming back, it's still spinning). Symptoms are it pulls up the Library with Events, Photos, Faces, even Albums. But I don't actually get any photos displayed on the right.
I've tried :-
1) reinstalling Mountain Lion
2) using Disk Utility Repair Permissions
3) Rebuilding thumbnails & library
4) Creating new library
5) starting up under a new user account (therefore not a problem with a config file in my homedir)
6) Starting iPhoto up in Safe Mode
Note during the spinning wheel, I can access the menu as such I can quit, import photos, etc.
It actually works (worked) under the following conditions :-
a) Until 31st July iPhoto 9.3.2 was working fine. I cannot remember what I did/installed/uninstalled/changed/deleted to cause it to have problems
b) I can get access to the very same library with Aperture with no problems at all (i.e. no library issues)
c) Photos will only display if I import a picture. Then all Events will appear. I can get into each event, I can even select the photo I imported and delete it. This is my current workaround to accessing photos in iPhoto. However I cannot switch to any of the albums I created. It will only display Events. Clicking on Photos, Faces, Places, and any of the Recent doesn't do anything.
So finally now is to try to re-install iPhoto 9.3.2. Can any one please let me know how I can do this? I've tried Option-Click on Purchases tab in the App Store but I get a greyed out INSTALLED in iPhoto. Similarly I found a link that provided the iPhoto9.3.2Update.dmg but in attempting to installing that, it tells me it can only be done via the App Store.
Any advice?

@mende1, perfect! That was easy! I thought I had to clean out plist files from my home directory, etc. Upon deletion and reinstallation, iPhoto started working again!

I'm having problems with iPhoto and the facebook set-up. Every time I attempt to do so it says an error has occured and try again later. I have not seen a solution posted. Therefore, how does one contact Apple to solve the problem? I'm new to the world of iMac but I find it a bit frustrating trying to solve basic issues/problems:(
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

Sync problems with iPhoto (Last iTunes & iPhoto & iOS)
Some people have problems to with the music sync but anyone has the same problem but with the photos? iTunes doesn´t count the number of photos that suposse to be listed when you select your album on itunes/device/photos... I have once the problem with the music but it cames right after delete and resync my playlists.

Tested on iPhone 5 and iPad2 Mavericks iTunes 11.1.2 and iOS 7.0.3 Same problem with iPhoto 9.4.3 and 9.5."I have the same issue - iTunes 11.1.2, iOS 7.0.3, Mac OS X Mavericks, iMac 2011, iPhone 5S - Aperture 3.5 and iPhoto 9.5 - iTunes does not sync pictures (not even counts them) between my iPhone 5S and either one of the programs. When I select iPhoto, it even shows information of a library I am not opening with iPhoto anymore.
I have resorted for the time being, waiting for a bug fix, to copy what I am interested in, into a folder and sync from it - that at least works.
Moreover, contrary to what said here in other threads, I can Wi-fi sync my iPhone 5S and iPad 2 to iTunes 11.1.2.
And, about all the complaints of iTunes not showing the "Info" tab anymore, Mac OS X now supports natively more types of accounts (Gmail, Yahoo, Twitter, Facebook, AOL, etc.). Everything can still be also set up manually in any case - so I don't understand what everybody is bragging about - you can avoid using iCloud, if so one wishes. -

I am having a problem with iphoto. i made photo book with hard cover, size XL and 22 pages and ordered it so after 1 week i got an email from APPLE like that :
It appears that when your order was submitted to Apple, an error caused the
image file to be unreadable or unprintable. As a result, Apple is unable to
process your order.
i checked it again an again in preview book (PDF) but the pictures in preview was unreadable like fade out.
but before 1 month i already made a photo book in LARGE size with 20 pages and i got it from APPLE and that was so perfect. but is there any problem with XL size in prints department of APPLE or i am having any troubleshoot in iphoto
This problem is only with XL size because when changed it into LARGE size it looks perfect.

Hope you are well. thanks a million for help me and i did it such as you explained me i start my MAC in safe mood and then preview the book in XL size it is working perfectly every image is clear but there is only 1 problem that i cant click on the BUY BOOK and there is no wi-fi internet working in safe mood. so now what i have to do?
shall i have to use the DSL cable net or something else option in safe mood and before ordering i should close my preview book (PDF). Thanks
