Hod do I download and install fonts?

Hello,
I've had my iBook two weeks now and here I am back for my second question. I don't understand how to download and install Fonts. I chose one Font online (yes, for mac) and downloaded with no problem. It was placed directly on my desktop and when I click to open it opens in Adobe Bridge and appears as an icon. If I click on the icon it only opens again in the same manner, never actually opening but appearing over and over in a new window box as an icon. I tried to drag and drop it to the Font Book, but nothing. The extension is .sit. Is that right? Thanks in advance.

Hi, your .sit file is compressed, you need StuffIt Expander to open it first.
Choose "Stand-alone Stuffit Expander version 10.0.1" for download.

Unless you've done anything to change it, Google keeps every email that ever passes through their server in your All Mail folder/mailbox/label. Even if you delete stuff, they hold onto it, there. You have to go out of your way to actually delete anything permanently.

I hate these "downloaders" because they always fail, no one ever provides an offline installer anymore, most likely because they want to prevent people from being able to archive an old version for use later when the company like Skype/Microsoft decides to screw all it's users by deleting older versions from downloading. I am tired of using the new skype because I realize the skype developers refuse to listen to the community when they keep saying that they don't want to use a phone style skype on their computers. I need to know how to download and install that version of skype because it was the last good release that Skype devs ever released. Likely the last good release they'll ever release. Unless they decide to listen to the community at all. I don't mind some change, but making the chat take more and more space without giving users an option is not ok. Chinese Word list Update 1.5 not downloaded and installed automatically

On my Macbook Pro with Retina display 15 inches running OSX 10.8.3, an update called "Chinese Word list Update 1.5" show up on Update available list in Appfresh application. But when I click on install, Mac APp Store open to search for that update, but it end up with "No update available"
When I click Software Update from Apple menu, the same thing with No update available occurred.
On my system information, I have Chinese Wrd list Update 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1nd 1.4 installed. But I can't get this 1.5 Chinese Word list Update to automatically downloaded and installed as in the previous version
Where can I download chinesewordlistupdate.pkg version 1.5 for manual installation? I cannot find it anywhere on APple support website
This problem always occured when a new Chinese Word list Update is released. Why Apple won't make this update available for manual download or thru normal process of software update? Why Apple has to make this very suspicious update? I can't find answer anywhere on the Internet

Perhaps it would help if you would do a few things to make sure the Apple update system knows that your machine needs to do Chinese. This includes a) check the boxes to activate the simplified and traditional input sources in system preferences/language & text/input sources, b) download the additional 10 chinese fonts which Apple provides only when you try to enable them in Fontbook, and c) download the additional chinese voices which Apple provides only when you check their boxes in system preferences/speech/system voice/customize.

The operation system for my computer is Window 8.1. I am currently trying to install a chinese game. Even though I have downloaded and install all the chinese language pack, I have even set the regional language locale to chinese (similified / traditional),
the chinese characters will not display properly in the game. Some people told me i need to set the locale to Chinese PRC, but I am not sure where to download this PRC language pack for window 8.1 (as I only have chinese simplified and chinese traditional).
I would greatly appreciate if someone can give me a hand in solving this problem. Thank you for your help in advance.

I am trying to download Adobe Reader, I have Windows 7 on my PC. Every time I get the download, I click on it to install the program, and I get the usual messages but I never get the install message. When I try the download again, I get a message telling me only one copy of the program can go on the computer. When I check the program list, it is not there. I have to restore my computer before I can attempt the download and install again. I have tried this at least 6 times but cannot install Adobe Reader. Please help me out with this. I really like this product and prefer to use it. I had o originally delete the program, due to an update conflict.

Then, you can download the full offline Reader installer from

I had upgraded to FF 4.0.1 a while ago. Last night I got a bubble telling me that FF 4.1.0 was available and I should download and install. This version does not seem to exist. What is this about?

I had installed FF 4.0.1 and have been using it for a while. I am running Win XP Pro, SP2. Last night a messge came up informing me that FF 4.1 was now available and that it would be advisable to download and install it. I did this and everything seemed to work fine but when I look at the 'About Firefox' info under 'Help' it still tells me that I am running 4.0.1. Everything still seems to be functioning well but this disturbs me as it does not seem to have been a FF message. You should not have to uninstall Premiere Elements 12/12.1 in order to install and run Premiere Elements 13 on the same computer unless your computer is overloaded and the computer resources are compromised. Just use one program at a time.
Can you still use 12/12.1 on this same computer that will not let you use 13?
What specific Window operating system are you using?
Let us go through the usual drill...
1. Does the problem exist with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
2. Are you using a pen and tablet device instead of a mouse?
3. Did you install the program with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
4. Disable the SLCache Folder found in Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit
Local Disk C
Program Files (x86)
Common Files
Adobe
and in the Adobe Folder should be the SL Cache Folder that you delete or disable by renaming the Folder
from SLCache to SLCacheOLD.
5. Are you running the program as Administrator and is the latest version of QuickTime installed on the same
computer as Premiere Elements 13?
