Hold button in PO

Hi Guys,
I couldnt find hold button in PO. I have it in PR but my PO (all doc  types) doesnt show the hold button. Do I need to configure anything for it to display in the PO.
Is there any other way to hold a PO before workflow gets triggered?
Thanks in advance,
Armaan

Hi Santosh,
The display of the 'hold' button can be indeed transaction state/ PO specific.
e.g a PO with thirdparty items, service items, limit items can't be put on hold.
( see also OSS 380296 )

I presume that you mean that the switches do not light up as appropriate when you select a Patch in MS?
If so, in Layout Mode, select each of the buttons in turn, and check that they are a) Assigned to the correct MIDI CC number etc, and b) that "Send Value to" has the correct Port selected.

  • How to disable MOH for "on Hold" button.

    CUCM 6.1
When on a conference call if a user presses "on Hold" button, music is played for all participants and nobody can hear anything. How can I disable music on hold for all users?
Please note, I could disable MOH for conferencing. But this is different issue. This is e.g. when everyone is in a conference (no matter what conference system, it could be ready talk, meeting place,...)and a participant receives another call and wants to answer the other call, in this situation I don't want any MOH played for other participants.
    Thanks,
    rdianat

I first tried "suppress MOH for conference" by service--> service parameters -->select server --> select callmanager --> go to "clusterwide parameters(Feature-General) --> change the "Suppress MOH to conference Bridge" to true"
This did not work. The reason is that these users are accessing an internet coferencing system like "ready talk" and not a cisco conferencing system, so for Cisco this does not appear to be a conference but it is like a regular call.
I only have two callmanagers which also serve as MOH servers.
Media Resources-->Music On-Hold Server -->Set Run Flag to "NO"
This is explained in "MOH FAQ" from cisco.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_qanda_item09186a0080094766.shtml#q21
The other way of doing this is not to assign any MOH server to the MRG or create a device pool without any MOH. (Media Resource Group set to NONE)
Although the above disabled the MOH, still the TOH "Tone on Hold" which is beep-beeps played every 10 seconds was annoying. So I increased the interval to 20 seconds by the same instructions in "MOH FAQ" how to disable / change TOH. Go to same page explained above but to "clusterwide Parameters(Device-General) and change "Tone on Hold Timer" Value to 20.

  • My Nano turned off - now it wont turn on or charge (hold button off)

My nano will not turn on - it briefly turned on, then switched off immediately. I thought it was fully charged, but when I tried to charge it, nothing happened - it did not even register on the computer. I fear it is fully dead - how do I get it fixed...and no, the hold button is not on!

You may need to allow the nano to remain connected to the computer or a wall adapter to charge for awhile. Take a look at the links below and see if they help. They mention things you state aren't the problem (such as checking the hold switch)but there are other things that may be the issue.

  • Hold Button Not Working

The hold button on my iPod video recently stopped working for no reason I can see (I've never dropped my iPod or gotten it wet or anything). Essencially, when I switch the hold button on, nothing happens (it certainly does not lock the buttons and the little lock symbol doesn't show up).
Is this something I can have repaired under the warranty? I would like to have the hold button since it helps keep songs fron accidentally playing. I wasn't sure if I sent the iPod in if it's something they could fix or replace or whatever and I couldn't find anything on the site about this so I thought I would try posting here for help.
    Thanks in advance!
Powerbook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.3)   5th Generation iPod Video.

It might be, though as you have already tried it is less likely.
The hold switch is largely a mechanical switch and I hoping that maybe he electronic end of the switch might just need restting which could happen during a firmware upgrade (or in your case re-grade).
Nowt to lose...give it a while...else its the repair shop (get an estimate first, a new one maybe cheaper)

  • Troubles with the hold button...

Simply put, my hold button no longer reliably works. If I turn it on, perhaps one out of four times does it actually put the iPod into "hold" mode and prevent the buttons from changing settings. Has anyone had the same problems and are there any simple solutions I should try before giving Apple a ring? I don't really want to send my iPod in for repairs after having only owned it for 5 days!

To follow up, I gave AppleCare a call this afternoon and spoke with a tech. He recommended that I send it in and as he was filling out the paperwork, found out that for such a new product, he needed to pass it up to a higher level support representative.
After speaking with this new rep, he also agreed the product needed to be repaired, but instead of continuing with the previous paperwork, declared the product DOA and transferred me over to the Apple Sales team.
Finally, after just over 40 minutes on the phone, they had finished with all the paperwork and I should be receiving a brand new iPod after I send the current one in. On one hand, this was a lot of hassle for a hold switch but I am pleased that I'll be receiving a brand new iPod. Moral of the story: if you're phoning in for tech support, be prepared to spend quite a bit of time on the phone and on hold!

  • My hold button is stuck. any ideas?

my hold button is stuck in the hold position. and i have no idea why. i have never damaged it.

    Hello terielou96,
For this, you should call Apple. 1800 MY APPLE.
See what options they can provide as this is a hardware issue and you device may still be under hardware warranty.
    Hope this helps.

  • My hold button is broken

my hold button is broken and my ipod is now stuck on hold, is there any way i can get onto my ipod?

Well, my nano has your same problem. what i do sounds a little funny but i take a guitar pick, stick it into the top left side of the nano, move the hold button to the RIGHT side, and take out the pick. then when i squeeze the top left corner, it works. yea, it stinks.

  • How to deactivate HOLD button?

Im having problems when on the phone i always accidentaly press the hold button its on the upper right of the screen. Is there anyway to deactivate it? or any solution for this. Its seems annoying i have to hold the z1 away from my ears and face...I hope somebody has a solution for this... Thanks

Thansk proximity was working i think i need to put it really close to my ears... Tnxs!
This is something I always advise as a lot of people are worried about pressing buttons with their face so dont hold the phone too close and this causes the proximity sensor to not activate which causes the exact problem they are trying to avoid.

  • "Hold" button has stopped working

Not sure what model my iPod is but it looks like the iPod classic on the current Apple web site; it has (c) 2005 on the back.
The "hold" switch on the top has stopped working. It still slides happily from side to side, but even with "hold" in position, all other controls function as normal.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks
    PhilD

    Hello Philip,
Have you tried a simple reset of the iPod and then re-attempted to enforce the Hold button? To reset, press and hold the Center and Menu* buttons together until the Apple logo appears.
If no luck there, you could also try a restore of the iPod via iTunes. Keep in mind that this will erase all the music and files from your iPod, so make sure they are backed up somewhere.
    [Restoring iPod to factory settings|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1339]
However, it sounds like a hardware issue related to the hold switch itself. Could be a loose or broken connection. You can opt to send it into a repair service if you wish. Just do a simple Google search for "iPod replacement parts" and you should receive a plethora of sites that can assist you. Just do a bit of looking around if you go this method, because there are some pretty good deals out there.
    Hope this helps.

  • Nano 5g and the hold button

About a week ago I turned the hold button on and couldn't get the hold button to turn off for almost then an hour. Then it just stopped and I haven't had the problem since. For the last three days, I've been having a different problem with the hold button. When I push the button to the hold position, it's like the ipod doesn't register it right away. It can take anywhere from 10 seconds to 1 minute for the hold symbol to come on and the ipod to actually be in the hold cycle.
I fully charged the ipod and reset it by pressing menu and select but that didn't change anything. Anyone know whats happening and how I can fix it?

Try putting it in "Disk Mode" http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93651 and then restoring it with ipod updater 06-28-2006

  • Hold Button and Headphone Jack problems (not a question, DO NOT ANSWER)

I received an old iPod with color display when the hold button appeared to be locked. The previous owner gave it to me for free. I waited about 3 years and finally looked into actually opening and fixing it. It turns out that a small ribbon cable connects the headphone jack and hold switch to the motherboard. The cable simply came out of its jack on the motherboard. All that was needed to fix the problem was simply opening the iPod and reconnecting the cable. For information on how to open your iPod's case check this link:

The blue tool pictured is not necessary. A few flathead precision screwdrivers work perfectly. Try it and good luck!

    P.S.
The hold button was constantly locked and had no control.

If you successfully restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem. Could be the screen or something else.

  • Frozen Ipod WITH Hold Button Enhanced

my ipod froze with the HOLD SETTING IN PLACE. basically, it froze as if the hold button was pushed to the left in place. No matter if I toggle to button, it remains frozen. any suggestions???

    problem solved!!!!!
I have tried everything but really everything with
the same problem. I went to Appel store in Germany
and they told me they have to send it to Appel and
    will charge me about 100 € ( $120): I did the
following an d in a second it stat to work.
I can't believe it. The Heather advice, noted by many
others worked for me! Felt carefully around the
silver back where it joins the white plastic front
and realized there was a miniscule shift in the
position from one side to the other. Barely
noticeable. Pushed hard on the silver back to put it
back in position and with a loud click, the hold
button moved a fraction of a millimeter and unlocked.
Thank you! Problem must have been caused by banging
the ipod accidently and displacing the back from the
front. Saved me lots of $$. It's really a piece of
    junk.
where did you press again?? where on the back?
