Holding position in Organizer when switching to Editor
I'm using PSE 4.0 on Windows XP.
I've got a large group of photos in Organizer and I'm working my way through them from top to bottom. Sometimes I will find a picture that I want to edit. I select the picture and hit Ctrl-I to take that picture to the Editor. I change the picture and Save it back as the original file name. Then I Ctrl-W to close the picture in Editor. I get returned back to Organizer. But I seem to end up back at the top of my set of pictures. Rather than staying positioned at the picture I was on when I started. Is there a way to force Organizer to remember my position in the pictures and return there?

Hi, Ken. I don't think I am dealing with a Version Set.
When I save the editted file there is a box that says 'Save in Version Set with Original'. That box is not checked when I save the file.
This problem only occurs when I am using the Folder Location view. Let's say I am viewing a folder that has 20 pictures in it. I edit the 15th picture in the set. When I return to Organizer from Edit I am now looking at picture 1 in the folder rather than picture 15. When I do the same thing in Date or Import Batch when I come back from Edit I am still looking at the picture that I started with.

just installed PS 13 elements and loaded pictures into organizer. after using PS editor now organizer is not reloading. I keep getting error message saying organizer unexpectedly quit, do you want to reopen. When I click on it to reopen it doesn't and I get the same message again. My 27 inch iMac monitor tilts forward and will not hold position when I adjust it up.. Is there a tension adjustment for the monitor position?
That is a hardware issue that will be covered under warranty if the machine is a 2012 or later iMac. Bring it into your closest Apple Store or AASP for repair.

I have been running elements 12 for a few months now....today when I tried to open the editor I get " Visual C C runtime error. I can open the organizer but not the editor
I'm keen to know if you get a response to this. I've been running Elements 12 for a year now, and suddenly my Editor is not working. I'm running Windows 8.1 and just get a message that says "The Editor is not working". Not very helpful.

My problem is a sudden loss of ability to get to PSE12 Organizer when I tried to load a saved scan. Had been using the Organizer and the Editor with no problems for several hours just before that.
Can not load the Organizer from the icon at the bottom of Editor screen, from the icon on the MacBook Air dock (OS 10.10.2), nor from the file in applications located with Finder.
I have tried without success to access Organizer after turning off and on the scanner, turning off and on the computer, loading a fresh copy of PSE12 from the CD, and restoring default preferences. I have searched on line for other options but not found any.

I have read all of the discussions about headset echos, my echos are heard by the caller when I hold the phone by the bottom half. The echo disappears when I change my hold position. Anybody else having this problem? Fix?
Don't hold it like that. You're creating an 'echo chamber' due to the position of your hand/neck/face. It's not a technical issue. I hear this when I talk to my wife and she cradles the phone against her shoulder.

Holder-Position relationship not created during hiring in PA40
Hi,
I have an issue right now where the holder-position relationship was not created when I hired a new employee thru PA40. We could correct this via RHINTE00. However, we would like to know first before we run the program on what could be the probable cause why the relationship was not created. All infotype records of the employee were added successfully in the system, it is only the SP relationship in HRP1001 that was not created during hiring. I'm still trying to replicate it to find the probable cause but still no luck. It only occurred once (quite rare). Since we can't replicate it, may we know when or how the relationship will not be created?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.

hi, recently i cracked the screen and after replacing it i found that at first it didnt charge, then after i got this to work the ipod only switches on when in the hold position. when i switch it off hold the ipod just switches off.
please help me with this - i have tried replacing parts to no avail.

Kyle.I don't know if this'll work, but it's worth a shot. Try putting it hold, than taking it off of hold, without TOUCHING ANY PART OF THE CLICK WHEEL. This might work. If it doesn't, click "restore" when it is plugged in to your computer.

Pages 'jump' when switching in Google Chrome
On a site I've created with GoLive CS2 some pages are in different screen positions when switching from one page to another - but only in Google's Chrome browser. It's only be a few pixels but the effect is very noticeable. I'm using auto margins that centre the page on screen and if viewed in IE8 or Firefox they are fine - they all stay in exactly the same position on screen. I've look through the HTML on th epages that do this but can't find anything that's different.
Has anyone else encountered this? And why is it only certain pages that move?Thanks for your feedback and I think it's what's happening on my pages - the appearance of the scroll bar causes the space at the sides to change so it 're-sizes' which causes the slight movement. Obviously IE and Firefox allow for this in their code but Chrome doesn't.
My site (at www.roosterad.com) is designed with a fixed centre (the website) and elastic sides (the grey space) so it always centres on the page regardless of browser size/resolution. Do you know if there's any way to prevent the issue without loosing this flexibility? -
Lose Dock when switching from External monitor
When I disconnect my external monitor and open my MacBook monitor the Dock is not visible except when I cursor over the Dock area it's starts to reappear? It's very strange.
I think the problem revolves around the change of resolution when switching back. Because my Windows for Safari are out of whack too. So I am thinking the Dock is position wrong at first.

Ipod nano only working in hold position
recently my friends ipod nano only turns on when it is in the hold position but will not turn on when it's not on hold. It is also only recognized in itunes when it is in hold position. it's basically something I just store music on right now. Is there a way for me to fix this?

Text converts to Myriad when switching between tabs
I've had an ongoing problem since our office upgraded to Illustrator CC. I will select a line of text with the open arrow, copy it and switch to another tab to place it into another file. I hit paste and go back to the original tab. The text, still selected with the open arrow will lose its font spec and change to Myriad in front of my eyes. Undo does not fix it. It is as though the file has lost any idea of what the font had been, and in order to fix it, I need to reassign the font in the character palette, or go into the document I'd pasted it into and copy and paste it back into the original file.
The consistent aspects of the this glitch are that the text has not been in a text box, the text is selected with the arrow – not highlighted, and I'm switching back and forth between tabs – not simply clicking out of Illustrator and back into it.
This issue hasn't been repeatable when I've tried to show people in the office so I don't think uploading a file will help.
It's driving me nuts and I've had to remember to hit save before switching to another tab, or always deselecting the text after copying and jumping to another tab. Very disruptive to my workflow, if I can even remember to do either of these things.Please temporarily disable your Avast extension to see if this has to do with this.

Is it possible to use software limits on 7354 board when switching control modes from open to closed or closed to open loop?

When you say 'open loop' and 'closed loop', are you referring to running the application in position and torque mode? If not, how exactly are your controlling a servo motor in open loop?
In closed loop mode, the encoder values will be used as reference and the motion VIs can be used to configure the software limit as required. Are you currently losing the software limits? If so, how exactly are you losing these values? I am not sure I understood what exactly is happening with software limits in your program, so any more information on this would be useful.
