Holiday to be added

Hi Everyone,
I am working for indian client. I have a requirement to give a holiday due to elections in india,
We have calendar for each state, i would like to give an holiday on 24th of April without touching the holiday calendar?
Is that possible Experts?

Hi,
Hope you have created different work schedules and generated them separately, and also period work schedules are specified in each work schedules. Now generate for the month of April for this particular state Work Schedule, and add Off on 24th April as shown below:
Execute GENERATE WORK SCHEDULES MANUALLY
Above is just an example.
Click on Create All
Save the entries.

Adding holidays to Nokia E63 calendar

Is it possible to either download something/change settings/sync using Ovi Suite so that public holidays can be added to the calendar? There are no options when adding a new meeting that can mark it as a holiday and holidays don't sync with Microsoft Outlook. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HRMS:PTO : Special Holiday Accruals

Hell Gurus,
We have a Accrual Special Holiday Setup which will give all the employees 32 hours at the anniversary date. If the Employee is a new hire it will be prorated.
This is working as expected. The Users have the ability to add the Special Holidays by adding a adhoc Special Holiday Element at the element entries.
This will enable the Employee to take the special holiday prior to actual accrual. This adhoc special holiday hours are added to the Accrual Plan.
If the user enters more element entries by using the element entry form, the employee is getting more special holidays that he is entitled.
I have added the Annual Rate,ceiling to the accrual Plan. In spite of that its allowing to accumulate more than what the employee is entitled.
I want know if anybody has this problem and the steps to correct it.

Hi,
I think the better design for this requirment would have been to handle it as part of the accrual formula rather than giving the option to user to add an element entry.
But in you case if the logis is already based on element entry then you can write a simple form personalization on element entry winow which checks if there is alreay an element entry existing in a particular calander year and throws an error. In this way you would be able to restrict the user from making multiple entries for that element.

Duplicate UK holidays in calendar

I am using calendar to sync two google calendars. In one calendar I have added the UK Holidays calendar. My diary entries sync fine to the iPad but every time I open the calendar the UK Holidays data is added again. I now have many entries for this and nothing I do can remove them.
I am using Windows XP but do not use the Outlook calendar. The iTunes setting is to not sync the calendar. I do not use iCloud and have not set it up on any of my devices. I also have the same setup on my iPhone 4 syncing to the same Windows PC and the calendars all work fine on there with only one calendar entry.

I have now even been to google.com/calendar/iphoneselect and deselected the UK Holidays shared calendar. In addition I have unsubscribed from this calendar in Google calendar. It does not appear on any of my Google online calendars but still won't go from my iPad calendar where it now appears 6 times.

That link leads to Apple's very old holiday caldenars for iCal. They have not been updated since 2010, so I would not use them.
Instead, I've been using the USA Holidays at the bottom of this link:

I added this subscription to my Calendar program in Lion, and it was transferred to Mountain Lion when I upgraded this weekend. I like this calendar a lot because it has nearly all the important religious and patriotic holidays, and is much more complete than any other calendar I've found. As a subscription, it also auto-updates... kinda like "set and forget".

ITunes widget(s) do not acknowledge iTunes

Even thought I am running iTunes, my dashboard widget does not agree "iTunes not open." I've quit, restarted and tried other widgets. No luck.
Any ideas?

I'm having the same exact problem on my Mac. I first noticed this after Christmas. It's like the Grinch stole my music. When I tried to go back to playing non-holiday music only five of my forty My Stations still worked. I clicked on a station, it very briefly looked like it was going to load then nothing. So I removed all the non working stations and added a few back and still nothing. I rebooted the computer but that made no difference. Over the holidays I had added some screen savers from the app store and removed them as well to see if they had some effect and still nothing. I then tried adding two My Stations to my iPhone and they played on my phone without any problems. Now at home I tried the stations that was added on my phone and they do not play. Very frustrating. My Mac is 10.9.5 and my iTunes is up to date.The NTP Security update was installed 12/22/14 and I wonder if this is causing the problem. Hopefully the Apple folks will come up with a fix soon.

Adding a past holiday in Holiday Calendar

We have a Holiday Calendar for our organisation. However, 14th April being notified later was not added in the Calendar. I want to add it now in such a way that the IT2001 (which is already updated as Not Marked for all the employees for 14th April) is overwritten and 14th April is reflected as a Holiday.
Pls give me step by step procedure to do so.

3. Re-generate the work schedules - PT01
4. Run report RPTUPD00 to revaluate the absence records - SE38

Is it crossing the end of March 2013 ? If it is then there appears to be a problem with all day events on the 1st April 2013 due to clocks changing for daylight saving - if it does include 1st April 2013 then try changing it to end on 31st March 2013 and have a second entry for 1st April onwards (starting at something like 4am on the 1st)

Suddenly, holidays are being removed and/or added to iCal UK & US Calendars. Is this legitimate?

Over the past 24 hours, my husband and I have noticed changes in the UK holiday calendar and the US holiday calendar on iCal. Veteran's Day was dropped from UK calendar on Sunday, November 11th. Diwali was added last night on November 13th on both the UK and US calendars. Islamic New Year is now added this morning on the US calendar on November 15th. The holidays are correct and we have no problems with them being there. It is just the sudden changes that alarm us.
Are these legitimate changes or is someone hacking into the program and making changes on their own?

I agree with Betty - I asked to have US Holiday's added to my calendar. Diwali is definately not a US Holiday. Neither is Islamic New Year and who knows what else has been added. There should be an ability to add additional calendars if wanted - such as India or Islamic Holiday's. At a minimum, allow us the ability to delete from our calendars - currently you get the following error "You can’t change events in the "US Holidays" calendar."
