Holidays in iCal

I imported Holidays in my Calendar (no abonnement) and they appear in the Cloud and 2 Macs.
But one of my 3 macs doesn't sync Holidays in iCal via cloud. All the other dates work...?

Start up iCal. On the menu bar click on "Calendar".
Click on the last option "Find shared calendars".
You're in business.

Apple does not comment on their design decisions, and certainly won't do so here. If you want to comment to Apple, you can do so via their feedback page:

The only way to "resolve" the issue as of right now is to use some other calendar application. But even BusyCal, the most common iCal alternative, doesn't display more than one month at a time in the sidebar.

How do I import U.S. holidays into iCal 4.0.3? I can't seem to find this anywhere, not even in iCal support and this is very standard with calendaring software.

Can you help me figure out why all of your Holiday's are different from your other events?
When/how were these Holiday events entered?
Have you checked iCal>Preferences...>Advanced>Turn on time zone support?

How to I delete Christian holidays from Ical using my Ipad. Not one at a time, the entire Christian Holidays calendar?

Launch calendar app
Click Calendars at bottom center
Deselect the Calendars you no longer wish to see
Select Done
To permanently Delete the subscription to a calendar
Go to ical on your Computer
Click Calendars on top left
Right Click the Calendar subscription you wish to remove
Select Delete

What is the safest way to get 2012 US Holidays on iCal?

Besides being out of date, I found errors in the US holiday calendar published by Apple here:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/calendars/
Instead, I've subscribed to the US calendar at this site:
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/holidays.html
Copy the URL weblink (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/caldata/USHolidays.ics) for the US holidays, and use it to "subscribe" to this calendar. Once you've subscribed, each holiday will populate your local calendar.
This US Holiday calendar is pretty good. It includes many Christian religious holidays, as well as patriotic holidays. There are also separate entries for Federal holidays (designated as OPM). I find this useful since I deal with the Feds on a regular basis.

Well it easy.
Step 1 : Open iCal and from the Calendar Menu, choose Find Subscriptions...
Step 2 : The link will open in Safari, just find the right holidays calendar for your country and download it.
Step 3 : It will get automatically added to iCal.

Best part is that it contains both patriotic and religious holidays, and they keep it up to date! Subscribing means that as they update it, the new entries are pushed to your calendar -- very cool! I've subscribed to it on all my devices (Mac, iPhone and iPad)

You can also try using iCal>Calendar>Find Subscriptions... I did notice a "Page Not Found" when using that method, but it has been working in the past.
