Home Creative Cloud
How can I download a second copy of a creative cloud application for my home Mac comuter use? When I try, it says that I need to sign in. I am already signed in, but it doesnt recognize it presumably becuase it knows that I have already loaded the software on my office PC.
Hi,
To install Creative cloud apps on your second machine, you need to download Creative cloud desktop from the following link :
https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
After this please install the apps on your second machine in the same way.

How does Creative Cloud from teams work with staff who work in two locations i.e. in the office and home?
There is no difference please be aware that each login is provided with two activations however. If you wish to have a computer at both work and home activated though that is perfectly fine as long as your employer is ok with using company software at home.

These problems are happening on my iMac at home. I can log into Creative Cloud no problem, however as soon as I try and open an application, whether it's an old version or CC 2014, Adobe Application Manager opens and tells me that membership has expired and prompts me to 'try again'. Clicking this button results in a new pop up that thanks me and tells me that my subscription is now active. However as soon as I click 'continue' the process begins again, the application closes, a pop tells me that membership has expired etc.
I can login and view my Creative cloud for teams account online and everything seems to be in order and the applications open without incident at work, another colleague at my work has the same problem with his CC applications at home.
I've tried uninstalling and the installing all of the applications and CC several times, run all updates etc.
Is this an issue the the Terms and Conditions for CC2014, are we no longer allowed to run applications on 2 machines?
Is there a bug with the latex version of CC? This problems has only recently occurred.
I should add that I've read some of the other posts about login loops and I've tried deleting the opm.db file, it didn't work.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
Regards
PeteThere doesn't seem to be an uninstaller for CS3, and I've tried the CC Cleaner tool several times. It doesn't work and it is not correctly documented anywhere. For example, there is no log file at "/Users/[user name]/Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log" as one of the Adobe pages states. For example, there is no log file at "/Users/[user name]/Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log" so I can't find any success or error states of the tool.
There is a log file at "/Users/[me]/Library/Logs/ACC.log." Would there be anything in there that could shine light on install issues vs. uninstall issues?
Regardless, running Cleaner and then attempting to install ACC repeatedly leads to the error "Creative Cloud quit unexpectedly" upon launching it or rebooting (which launches it automatically). I've been trying various things for weeks to no avail yet. -

Can I use Creative Cloud on MAC at work & Win8 at home
I work on a MAC at work but I work on Win8 at home. Can i install Creative Cloud on both from the same account? I am running it successfully on the MAC but I keep getting a Server Error when I try to download it on PC at home.
Thanks
BMake sure you don't have any "old" activations. Recently, I had to reimage my work laptop and it wouldn't activate because I already had 2 active machines. I think you can deactivate machines from the account profile page on the Adobe website. Other issue is make sure that both machines meet the minimum requirements. The site says it is 10.7+.

Hello , can you with a single account creative cloud , install on two computers ? (The one from home and one at work)
This will avoid me lugging around my mac, sorry for my english.
Margaux, photographerYes, this has been allowed with Adobe applications going back many years. A program such as Photoshop can legally be installed and activated on two computers at a time for the use of the single licensed user. You can't install legally on your own and a friend's computer for use by the two different people. Prior to Creative Cloud, there was an unwritten limit on how many times a given application could be activated, but there is no longer such a limit under CC. That means you could theoretically install on three or four computers, activating only two at a time, and then deactivating one or both before activating on another computer.

I have design standard with creative cloud, I have installed this on 2 computers, my office and home which I was told was allowed, I have just tried to open an indesign file from the office at home and and error message said that this was created with a newer version? they are the same versions and both are up to date, I was asked this morning to put in my adobe id email and password to connect to CC which I have never been asked to do before, can anyone help?
what's your home version (click help>about) and was that just a warning so you were able to open the file?

I have Adobe Creative Cloud. How do I edit a PDF form I created at work and e-mailed to my home tablet?
Hi Val,
I see! Please see this thread: Is FormsCentral part of the Creative Cloud?
Creative Cloud doesn't include FormsCentral, which is why you're being prompted to upgrade. (An Acrobat Pro subscription, on the other hand, does include FormsCentral.)
Best,

All Adobe Creative Cloud apps fail to work, creating new user Home folder fixed it.
We have Adobe Creative Cloud device licenses. I had a user contact me yesterday with these problems.
Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 - error opening, "could not complete your request because the file is locked do not have necessary access permissions or another program is using the file photoshop"
Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 - error opening, "the operation cannot complete because of an unknown error [cant]"
Adobe InDesign CC 2014 - would crash when opening, no error given
These same apps worked when logged in as a different user.
None of these worked:
I tried removing all kinds of user Adobe preferences, Application Support files, etc.
Deleted ~/.adobe
I fixed permissions on the user's home folder.
Renamed user's Home/Library to LibraryBak.
Uninstalling and reinstalling CC.
What finally worked was creating a new user and copying the contents of the broken user home directory over, except for Home/* level hidden files. (eg: .adobe, bash_history) Basically I just copied over the visible folders and used the Terminal to copy of the hidden ~/Library folder.
Does anyone have any idea what the exact cause was? What file/folder could've been deleted to fix this instead of the longer route I took? This wasn't answered and I see that it's still not resolved.

Why can't I install some Creative Cloud apps on my home PC?
Recently, my employer sprung for Creative Cloud. I've been very happy using it at work. Since I do a fair amount of work from home, it's especially useful.
Or it would be if I could figure out how to install all the software I need. I've been able to install five or six of the apps already (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Bridge among them), but I get the following issues:
Fireworks : Hangs at 54% completed for ever and ever. (I waited three hours)
Premiere : Downloads completely, but then says "Waiting..." for ever and ever. (I waited 2.5 hours)
Ironically, I uninstalled my old versions of those programs specifically because CC renders them obsolete. My PC is powerful enough to run this software, but I really don't know how to progress. I tied up my computer the last two nights attempting to install these items and don't have a clue what to do.
Please let me know if there's anything I can do to provide further information, such as pull an error log or what have you.
Thanks in advance,
MattHi Mwarren,
In CC desktop apps, the first 50% is the indicator for status of download and then rest 50% is for install.
It is hard to say what exactly is happening at 54% through CC desktop apps as the installation is happening silently unlike older version where se we can see what process or software installation is happening.
If you could please share the Installer logs then it could help us diagnose the issue,
You can find the installer logs at
• Windows 32 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
• Windows 64 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers
• Mac OS: /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/
NOTE :- Do not paste the logs here , put it on http://pastebin.com and provide the link here.

Why does only a spinning gear appear on the 'Home' page of the Creative Cloud window?
When I click on the icon for Creative Cloud on the toolbar, it opens in the 'Home' window and a spinning gear appears. It does not disappear until I click on another page, such as 'Apps,' "Files,' etc.
This worked for me:
Open Finder, click on Go > Go to Folder. Type in ~/library and hit enter.
Open Application Support/Adobe folder and rename OOBE folder to OOBEold.
Click on Apple icon on the top left, select System Preferences
Choose the network that is currently connected to internet that can be Ethernet or
Airport(Wireless). Click on Advanced button and click Proxies Tab.
Under 'Select a Proxy server to Configure' Uncheck all the proxy check boxes, then uncheck 'Use Passive FTP Mode (PASV)'.
Hope this helps someone else.
