I just installed 10G application server and the home instance does not show up in the Ias console. Has anyone had this problem?

In the Application Server Control is a button called:
Enable/Disable Components. Press the button and check if the home instance is disabled. Enabling is self-explanatory.

JSB Xtreme Audio Notebook optical out problem with Home TheaterSystem-HELP!, I have this sound card connected?(optical OUT) ?to my home?theater system's digital IN ?through the recommended /8in. optical miniplug-to-optical SPDIF cable. Theater system is set correctly to Digital-In mode. I have no sound!
The cable is a Velocity Toslink-to-Optical Mini Plug digital cable. I don't see any settings in the Creative Console Launcher. The notebook is a Dell XPS M730 (Vista 32).
I have a PS3, DirecTV, and the SB Xtreme Audio Notebook cable on a hub switch that connects to the system's?one Optical IN. The PS3 and DirecTV sound perfect!
The sound card works fine with standard PC speakers. I'm at a loss as?to what to try next. I set this whole system up myself, so I'm pretty good at working out the kinks, except this one!

OK. I just went to Control Panel - Sound - Playback - Digital Output Device (SB Xtreme Audio Notebook) - Properties - Advanced. I experimented with different sample rates and bit depths. Clicked the test button and lo and behold - sound from the HTS! I've tried iTunes, PowerDVD (configured to digital output) and YouTube - no sound! Am I missing something really obvious?
HA! Just backed out to Playback and selected Digital Output Device (SPDIF) and set as Default. Sound is emunating from HTS! Well, that mystery is solved! Who knew.

ITunes Home Sharing help - can't find shared library

1st-time setup. Enabled Home sharing on "old" and "new", and successfully imported 7 songs onto "new". Now Shared menu item on left-hand panel is gone. Apple help says to turn off/on sharing - doesn't help.

If the other computer you're trying to access has timed out or off you cannot access it. I'm not sure if that is what is going on just thought I would offer that help.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

I love Firefox 3.6 but lately it wont let me sign in to google,on XP Pro or Vista home,Please Help

Firefox 3.6 wont let me sign in to my Google acc any more, so I cant use Bookmarks etc now, on XP pro or Vista home(we have 2laptops) I am also getting the msg URL not valid/cant connect, even thought I try to load from my 2nd Tab with the 9 pages on it. I put firefox on all my pals&family's laptops & now its happening on theirs also, and I keep getting asked to upgade to the latest version.....I did this last year Version 7 I think but it didnt work well so I had to go back to Firefox 3.6. I do realise that the 3.6 is getting old and will have to be replaced, but which version to choose as there are so many??? I need the new Firefox to work as good with Google search,Bookmarks etc and Utube, TV & iplayers and MSN Games online, So do I fix this one or download a new one as I will have to for the others also,We use XP Pro & Vista mainly. Google changed the logon URL for various services and the Google Toolbar is trying to logon to the wrong domain. Google isn't going to be fixing the Google Toolbar add-on for Firefox, they announced back in July that they were discontinuing it for Firefox 5.0 and later versions.

OC4J help

Hi all
I am using jdev 10.1.2, my project run fine in embedded OC4J. But when i deploy to standalone OC4J i get the error :
JBO-30003: The application pool (emart.model.services.EmartServicesLocal) failed to checkout an application module due to the following exception:
oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError, msg=oracle/sql/DatumWithConnection
I already upgrade standalone OC4J by jdev 10.1.2, the example in standalone work fine.

I got the same error, i updated the ADF libraries on the iAS 9.0.4.0 with my jdev 10.1.2 . Have you solved this problem ?
(i just upgraded from 9.0.5.2 my aplication was running without problems on the same iAS with 9.0.5.2 ADF libs).

Home Folder Help

Hi all...
Okay, so I need a quick fix on something until I can get it fixed properly. Basically, I accidentally created another home folder in my users directory. I fixed everything I could, but Safari is still grabbing preferences from the old home directory.
For example, every time I open safari I change the homepage default. But each time I restart my computer it reverts to the orginal homepage default (apple.com.)
Here's the thing: I want to change the place safari draws its preferences from. I need to point Safari to my new home folder, not the old one. Is there any way to do this? Doesn't seem to be anything in preferences.
I plan to take the whole thing to the mac store and have them help me resolve it. Until then, though, I'd like to do something to fix it!

Products on Home Page - Help!

I'm trying to build a site that has a 3x3 table of products on the home page and I want to use pagnation to load more products into the same layout on subsequent pages. See the image at the bottom of this post for an idea of the layout. I'm using module_productfeaturelist to display tagged items but I can't figure out the following:
1) How do I display this module in a table format instead of a li?
2) How do I include the pagnation functionality so the products that don't fit on this page overflow to the next page (using the same template)
here is the module I'm using: {module_productfeaturelist,product tile,9,Default,,,true}

Hi Liam, I figured out the float to align my images however the pagnation isn't kicking in automatically after 9 images and as far as I can see it's only an option present in the Overall Layout eccommerce module. I guess really the only thing I need in order to achieve the layout I want is to put the overall layout on this page and then I wouldn't have to mess with module_productfeaturelist. The only problem I'm having is that when i insert an individual catolog it just provides a link to the catalog that opens in another page. I only have 1 catalog so all I want is for the ovarall layout to appear on the page immediately without having to click a link to see it. Do have any ideas on how I might accomplish that? Thank you, I appreciate your help!!!

Re-installing iTunes wont erase your folders, unless your iTunes is a very old version pre-iTunes 9 series.
I would suggest to download the latest iTunes, it would solve your problem as in this earlier post

I have an in warranty B500 system. After 5 months the system wont even power on. I have been promised in home replacement parts service for a week... no calls.. nothing. Does anyone have a number or email I can contact to complain about Lack of Service?? The main cust service reps are sort of useless. Tell me a different story each nite. Home Button Help

Hi,
I just downloaded OS4 and all went well so far. My question is, with the home button, I thought I could put what I want it to do. No more double tap for contacts? I can't find where to change what it does. Any help would be appreciated,

How about the normal two button sequence Phone->Favorites. Almost as fast if you have Phone where it defaults on the bottom line left.

Home Stereo Help :(

I have a Pioneer A/V receiver which is probably 10 years old, but it has a bunch of input jacks in the back. I bought a standard RCA plug and plugged my dock to the CD input on the receiver. When I play it, there is a little bit of crackling/static and the sound isn't top notch. I understand it won't be CD quality at 128kbps, but is there anything I can do to get some better sound? I have nice Bose bookshelf speakers. Will an upgrade to Monster cable and some new speaker cables make a difference or is this just how the ipod sounds thru a home stereo?? I listened the Bose, et al sound docks in the Apple store and some of those sound pretty incredible. Help me Obi Wan.

If you get good sound from other sources then upgrading the speaker cables won't help. Your issue is on the input side.
First, try a different input on the Pioneer to make sure it's not a receiver issue. If the noise follows then the CD input is okay.
Do you have a friend or neighbor that will let try your dock into their receiver? Make sure and use your cable. If you still have noise then swap the cable. If it's still there then it's a problem with the iPod or the dock.
