Please Help!!
I will write back. I have worked on this problem for hours. Home page box change freezing and have to shut down. I cannot reset and Firefox has been crashing, slow, and other problems.

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:
*bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the Report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help > Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).
*Click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.

You can try to disable OMTC and leave hardware acceleration in Firefox enabled.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar.
You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

Each time I have downloaded"security & stability update for FF 3.6.12" my computer reacts in the following manner...From the desktop FF goes to my home page,displays homepage for 5 seconds,shuts down and reverts to desktop.FF will not keep home page open.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

I have to shut down and restart JDeveloper to see changes. Why?

I have to shut down and restart JDEV about 30 times per day. If I make changes to the style sheet, I can't refresh my deployed page, I can even redeploy it. I need to physically shut down JDEV and restart it.
This happens as well with multiple style changes I am making, regardless of whether it' inline style changes (setting the height of an image) or changing a border.
Am I missing something?

I had a similar thing on an old MacBook Pro where if I closed the lid, then reopened it before the sleep cycle took over, it would have a blank screen. I had to close the lid until the power light pulsed, then it would wake normally.
Any similarities?

Run the Apple Hardware Test and swee if any issues are discovered. Also a SMC and PRAM resets may help.

You could try wiping the hard drive and reinstalling the OS and all your programs.
Did you install any programs yesterday?
If not it may be best to take it to an Apple care center and have it checked out. Take it in while it is asleep so you ccan show then what is happening.

Rhonda you Force Quit and app by click the Apple symbol in the upper left and selecting Force Quit... and then select the app that isn't responding and Force Quit it.
I'm not sure what is wrong with your Mail system but I'd recommend starting over with it. You can find out how in Mail Setup, Troubleshooting etc... If you still have trouble then contact AppleCare, you have 90 days of free phone service with AppleCare......why not use it?

Since I installed the new system on my MacBrook Pro, I have to force quit and restart my mail to receive it. This is also happening on my brand new desktop (10.7.1), but not on my iPhone or iPad.

I saw a similar question was posted about this before but it was from a long time ago and involved re-installing the OS. I am hoping an easier solution has been discovered.I have an IMac and for some reason I keep losing connection to the internet. I am using the Airport Extreme as my router. The router seems to be fine. My PC does not have any problem staying connected to the internet. When I look at settings the it appears that I am connected to the Airprt extreme on my IMac but I have no internet. I have to shut down the Iport and then reconnect. Evertime I do I will have internet for 1 second to 2 minutes and then it will drop again. I can't figure this one out! Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't forward/reply or write/send an email. Can open and read but that is all. Can't close that page. Have to shut down and start over. Frustrating!

If I want to forward an email, I hit forward, type in the name, tab to start writing something and am unable to do so. The page is outlined with tiny dots (as if it were perforated). When I try to close it down, a small box appears asking if I want to --Discard - Save as a Draft - Continue Writing -- It makes no difference which one I click on, none work. I have to close completely and open my email to continue reading my emails but that is all I can do.
If I use Chrome as my browser, everything works fine. However, I like Firefox (other than your recent support of gay/lesbians - which is why my husband quit using Firefox and maybe I will too, now!)

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
