Home page doesn't scale properly on iPad (with Nivo Slider)

Hi there,
When viewed on an ipad website home page shrinks to left hand corner of screen.

Other pages are fine so think is because I’m using Nivo Slider?
Are there any settings I could use to avoid this.

Your site is not responsive to mobile/tablet devices so those devices attempt to zoom out and shrink the page to fit inside their viewports. The better solution is to rebuild your site with responsive web layouts in mind for mobile, tablet & desktop.

The ID you use for home sharing should be the same on all devices, it doesn't need to be the same ID you use for other things.
So if together you have the ID's [email protected] and [email protected] (say) then you might use [email protected] for your iTunes Store account and [email protected] for home sharing and he might use [email protected] for his iTunes Store account and [email protected] for home sharing

Print HTML Report.vi doesn't scale properly.

LV 8.5.1, Report Generation Toolkit, XP. Our application uses the Print HTML Report.vi to print an HTML report.
We found that on some installations the resulting page does not scale properly. Instead of being one page wide,
the printout is about 1.5 pages wide (and proportionately longer), leading to our report being truncated.
Tried different printers, different print drivers, no difference.
Finally we noticed that the affected computers all had Internet Explorer 6 installed. Updating to Internet
Explorer 7 fixed the problem. Don't know about IE8, I expect that will work as well.
Hopefully this will help someone else who runs across this problem. I couldn't find any reference to
an IE > 6 dependency in the Report Generation Toolkit readme system requirement.

Hi Charlie,
The layout option is not wired to anything in the Standard, HTML, Excel and Word Report, but it is used in the Quick Print default case. The Help document for this VI mentions that the layout option is ignored on Standard and HTML Reports but does not mention the Excel or Word Reports.
This was discovered a little while ago in this discussion forum. And a report has be filed to R&D by Ben.

I accidently "x" off the download of firefox 4 before it had finished and now the home page doesn't work, i tried redownloading firefox but that didn't work is there a way i can resume the download?

Your More system details list show that you run the latest Firefox 4.0.1 version. 
You can check that via Help > About Firefox and on the Help > Troubleshooting Information page.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

If you posted from another computer then download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Home Page doesn't open

This seems to be recent. I open Safari and the address appears, but the home page doesn't load (MSN). If I click the RELOAD button in the header it loads fine. If I clear the CACHE, I get maybe 3 successful openings and then it's back to blank. Any ideas?

Since a few days we have a lot of crashes with [http://www.trusteer.com/product/trusteer-rapport Trusteer Rapport]. If you have this program, try to disable it and see if that stops the crashing. 
You can stop Rapport using Start Menu > Programs > Trusteer Rapport > Stop Rapport 
You can ask their helpdesk when an updated version of their product will be made available or, if you don't need this software, uninstall it.

If you do not have Rapport, then we need to have a crash report ID. When you send Mozilla a crash report it just puts it in a giant database. We have no way of looking it up without the Report ID. I have no idea what is wrong without looking up the crash report. Please get the Report ID of your latest crash report.

Home Page Doesn't Load

My home page doesn't load when I type in the sites address:
http://www.typea.com, but does
load when I type in typea.com/Index.html.
The preview in browser works fine, and I've checked all the
links within the site and they check out okay.

Check with what default home pages and extensions are loaded
against the
server, and make sure that index.html is included as an
option.

Can the latest version of Pages App load onto First Gen Ipad with ISO 5?

I hadn't purchased pages until now, but my old ipad with ISO 5 cannot install. Is there an older of Pages on Itunes to use on the old ISO 5?
Or can the ipad operating system be upgraded to ISO 7?

The iPad 1 can only go up to iOS 5.1.1

Firefox will not save my tabs or prompt asking if I want to save tabs. When it reopens it doesn't even bring up my home pages which have been properly saved. I have tried all the suggested fixes - the problem persists even in safe mode.

Firefox does not prompt to save my tabs nor does it bring them back when it reopens. It does not even bring up my home page. I have tried the suggested fixes in the help section. This still happens in safe mode so I tried disabling plugins etc. - no change.

In Home Agent doesn't load properly

I have two nearly identical desktops and a laptop. The IHA doesn't load properly on one of the desktops. All have Win XP SP3 with all the security updates. All use Firefox as the default browser, but do have IE8 installed and working.
On the one that IHA doesn't load properly, when attempting to load, I wind up with two icons in the system tray. One is labeled MSI1F.tmp; the second, MSI18.tmp. Both tool tips show "Script paused" checked. If I restart the computer, the icons disappear.
If I attempt to execute the IHA, it starts up, and looks like it wants to work, but when I get to the page with the toolbar at the top and I click on "Internet," the body of the page goes blank and does not display anything.
Going to the feedback portion on the laptop (so I can be next to the desktop), I contacted support, and they were able to use remote control of my computer, but couldn't do any good and gave up.
Everything else seems to work. I can connect to the internet, but downloading a large file, such as Flash Player, is excruciatingly slow (that's what started all of this); the working units just fly. Using the laptop, I have been able to isolate the problem down to something inside the desktop, eliminating connection, router, and wiring issues. I have also tried using a wired and a wireless connection with the same basic results, making me think that it is just not one of the hardware interfaces (The wired connection is 1.0 Gbps and the wireless is "n.")
Any ideas short of just reloading XP and all of the other software?

Not sure if reloading will help In-Home Agent start working. I'm not sure what the fix would be for this but the software is known to be a bit glitchy. A lot of us just prefer removing it from the machine if all works well, unless you need a specific feature/repair option within the software.

The first page doesn't open properly

When I updated Fireforx to the 5th version, it now doesn't work properly. To open th1st page it takes ages and then the small window comes out with the message that scenario: chrome:/tavgp/content/libs/include/js:595 is busy or doesn't answer, then I close this window and the page opens.
