Home Screen Not Saving Changes

Hi. In iTunes, I've customized my home screen (moved apps around, created folders, etc.) When I sync it, it appears the way I want it on my phone and in iTunes. However, whenever I restart the phone, the changes are gone and it's back to the way it was before. I've already set up my device as a new device and am still having the issue. Any help/suggestions? I have iTunes 11.3.1.2 and my phone is a iPhone 5. Thank you.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

IDVD 06 not saving changes?

Greetings. I teach an adult ed class in iLife. Unfortunately, the lab has old single 533 G4s. When we use iDVD 06, the program is not saving changes made in the different drop zones, etc. We place elements in drops zones, tell the program to save, quit and relaunch...nothing saved.
This problem was repeated by a student on his G5 at home.
Any ideas?

How do I add actual email accounts to home screen-not just HUB? Can anyone give me the steps?

Essentially the Hub area is a home screen dedicated to your communication. Tap on the lower left icon and each of your messaging sections has its own dedicated 'icon.' As JC mentioned, it is new and it may take a while to get used to it.. but once you do it really is a great way to deal with the unified messaging idea and it also allows you to break down what you are looking at very quickly. Just need to learn a few new tricks. I've been on the Z for just over 3 months now and I could never go back...

Stocks App not saving changes

My stocks app is not saving changes no matter what changes I make. After making a change, I'll exit the app, re-enter and it defaults back to a whole bunch of stuff I didn't add.
Can someone help me with this, I'm not sure where to even start!

Safari always opens with "Welcome to Safari" screen. Home page not saved.

After a clean reinstall of Yosemite on our mid-2010 iMac and an upgrade to Safari 8.0.2, my partner is greeted with the "Welcome To Safari" screen each time he launches Safari.
In addition, his home page is not saved and the Favorites bar, which is set to be displayed by default, does not show.
My own Safari experience is unaffected.
Has anybody else experienced this and any suggestions on how to fix it?

Delete cookies
Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
Press the “Remove All Website Data” button.
It will take a while to finish.
Empty Caches
Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
Turn off Extensions if any, and launch Safari.
Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Turn those extensions one by one and test.
Delete safari .plist file.
Quit all applications. Click on an empty spot on the desktop to activate Finder.
Hold the “Option” key down and click the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
Select “Library” from the drop down.
Library > Preferences > com.apple.Safari.plist
Right click it and select "Move to Trash". Close Finder window.
Please don’t empty the Trash.
Restart. Launch Safari
If this doesn’t help, right click the Trash icon in the Dock and select “Open”.
Right click the com.apple.Safari.plist and select “Put Back”.

ABAP - BDC transaction not saving changes to records

I am trying to write my first ABAP code using BDC recording. Essentially I would like to flag the "Final Delivery" field (EKPO-EGLKZ) for a range of documents by recording transaction MASS.
The code runs without errors - but the changes are not saved. I have run the code in "Processing Mode: A" (Display all screens) and the program successfully loops through each record & saves the updated fields. When I look at the documents in ME23N the changes have not been saved.   Running the MASS transaction manually results in the changes being successfully saved so I can rule out any data validation issues.
Does anyone know why the changes refuse to save when running the code below?
I have considered trying to use BAPI_PO_CHANGE instead of BDC, but I am new to ABAP and I thought the BDC code would be less complex.

Where is BDC_INSERT.
If u use OPEN and CLOSE_group u need to use INSERT_GROUP also to update in database.

Home screen not displaying right

PLEASE HELP ME!!! My documents on my home screen are scattered around and I can't move them back to the place I want them! Whenever I try they just move back to the place before!

Take these steps if the cursor changes from an arrow to a white "prohibited" symbol when you try to move an icon on the Desktop.
Sometimes the problem may be solved just by logging out or restarting the computer. Try that first, if you haven't already done it. Otherwise, continue.
Select the icon of your home folder (a house) in the sidebar of a Finder window and open it. The Desktop folder is one of the subfolders. Select it and open the Info window. In the General section of the window, the Kind will be either Folder or something else, such as Anything.
If the Kind is Folder, uncheck the box marked Locked. Close the Info window and test.
If the Kind is not Folder, make sure the Locked box is not checked and that you have Read & Write privileges in the Sharing & Permissions section. Then close the Info window and do as follows.
Back up all data before continuing.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. You should get a new line ending in a dollar sign ($). Quit Terminal.
Relaunch the Finder.
If the problem is now resolved, and if you use iPhoto, continue.
Quit iPhoto if it's running. Launch it while holding down the option key. It will prompt you to select a library. Choose the one you want to use (not the Desktop folder.)

i am struggling with this devices now from some time.. not sure where is the mistake ...when i am trying to configure wireless device (AP) from web using exprerss setup or nornal manual mode .. it is not saving any changes.. means clicking on apply button does not do anything .. infact its not getting clicked... please see the screen shot attaced ..my express setup menu is different then the one mentioned in this link

Adobe not saving changes

One type of pdf form that i use will not replace existing form anymore when i want to save changes. It wants to create a new file fully, rather than just saving changes

In other versions of photoshop elements, you don't get the not responding
thing at the top of the screen when saving png files, but it still takes a noticeable
amount of time to save png's in other versions of photoshop elements and the full
photoshop version.
I haven't been able to find it yet, but there is a post somewhere in the photoshop forums
where an adobe photoshop engineer explained why png's take longer to save than most
other file formats, but ssprengel said something about the compression of png's which
sounds like the gist of the post.
There have been more than a few complaints about the not responding messages in pse 9
on windows machines for various operations, but as far as saving images, the not responding
message doesn't seem to hinder saving files, but it is very annoying.

Just found this on Crackberry.com and it finall worked for me...
"I also have the same problem as you. I can't find any solution to fix this. But today, when I try to add bookmark to home screen again, there should be a pop dialog "Added to home Screen". When it pop up, just immediately tap that pop up dialog. And the my home screen can show the bookmark. After that, I do not need to do this again. Seems it is fixed. I think th is really unreasonable. But it really works for me. Please let me know if this work on others of you."
Just gotta be quick to tap the "Added..." message box before it disappears.

Home screen bookmarks icon change on firefox upgrade

Whenever FF upgrades bookmark icons on my home screen revert to the FF default. Can this behavior be prevented? If not, is there a simple way, short of replacing the bookmark, to return the desktop bookmark to the one specified by the web pag?

Happens on Samsung Galaxy Tab II 10.1", GPT5113. Android 4.2.2. Also on HTC One S, ville. Android 4.1.1.

Enhancement in IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS not saving changes after order creation

I have an enhancement at the beginning of the IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS function module used to create sales orders via EDI. In the enhancement, I take the data records and make some changes to some quantities and units of measure. After making these changes, I let the function module continue on as normal. The order does get created with my changes in them, however, the IDoc doesn't reflect my changes.
Here's an example: An EDI order comes in with 6 EAs of a material. In my enhancement, I change it from 6 EAs to 2 3PK. I then let it go on its way. The order gets created fine with 2 3PKs, however the IDoc after its a ll done still says 6 EAs.
The enhancement runs before the FM puts the data into the tables it uses. I tried using the last user exit to open the IDoc and editing it there using the EDI_DOCUMENT_OPEN_FOR_EDIT FM but it says its open.
Can anyone give me any clues on how to make my changes stick to the IDoc?

Ok, I figured out why it's not saving. Not realizing it, but the tables are passed into the FM by reference, so what I'm changing is only a copy. So what I tried to do is use the 004 (I've also tried the 005) user exits to try to update the actual DB. I used the following FMs (EDI_DOCUMENT_OPEN_FOR_EDIT, EDI_CHANGE_DATA_SEGMENTS, and EDI_DOCUMENT_CLOSE_EDIT). The problem is that I can't change them because the IDoc is still open.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can achieve my goal of changing the IDoc?

i had this problem before along with many others, with the earlier vers of iphoto. until apple gave us the fix...now agin with 5.0.4.any changes or edits(redeye fix) are not saved to any of my pics!!
is anybody else having this problem??

Hi sunny,
Check the permissions on the Library and Pictures folder. If they are set for you, make sure the library is not locked.
Get info on the iPhoto Library folder

If edits are not saved it could be the image files are locked, especially if these files came from another computer or sent to you in email. Do a "get info" on these files and unlock them.

Mail not saving changes in Mailbox Behaviors

For one of my accounts since the upgrade to Mavericks when I enter the Mailbox Behaviors section, I found that Drafts, Junk and the one under Trash named Store Deleted messages on the server is checked.
I uncheck them because I doon't want them checked. I Save the changes I made then go back to that account and the same ones I just unchecked are now checked again. Its not saving what I just unchecked.
What the heck is wrong?
Also noticed that in OSX 10.8 I could drag all my email accounts to a different order than the way they are now listed. Can't do that now.

Thanks for discovering this issue being connected to drafts. I have trouble with this for a couple of months as well.
Since you assume it to be connected to "drafts", I suggest to deselect "Store draft messages on the server" for your IMAP-Account. I just did this for myself, to see if it helps, and can't give you results yet. Maybe you just wanna try simultaneously. I guess, the reason for our problem could me some messy communication between Mail and the server, where one party get's confused.

Home screen not restored properly after backup

I'm pretty sure I've gone about this the right way because in the past it has worked fine, but we've added a few more Apps to our devices and now the home screen layout doesn't get restored properly when using Apple Configurator (latest version).
Supervised one iPad, installed Apps and arranged the home screen how we want it to be laid out.
Made a backup of that Supervised iPad.
Supervised the rest of the iPads and restored the backup we made of the one with the home screen arranged how we want it.
Randomly some Apps that were placed in a folder appear not on the home screen I placed it on but on a screen one swipe to the right, another folder appears on a home screen another swipe to the right!
The "Video" folder should be in the empty space in the bottom right of the first home screen.
Previously, before we had the maximum number of icons on the home screen whenever I retored a backup to the devices they would be in the correct places, but not any more.
Any ideas?
