Hi Joshuawebb,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.  It sounds like reinstalling Bonjour might help with this.  This article contains instructions for that:
Bonjour for Windows: How to tell if it successfully installed
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2703
Uninstall and reinstall
If none of the items described above are present after you've installed Bonjour, try uninstalling and reinstalling the software.
Go to the Control Panel and click on Add or Remove Programs.
Select Bonjour from the list.
Click Change/Remove.
Choose Remove, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Reinstall Bonjour for Windows from the Apple website, or the media on which it was supplied to you.
Cheers,

  • HT4557 My MacBook Pro and iPad will not pick up the Air Play or the Home sharing on my AppleTV which was working yesterday

I was previously able to use my AppleTV with airplay and iTunes home sharing to my 2 macbook pros and my iPad. However, it has suddenly stopped connecting to both airplay and home sharing, even though both are turned on and the correct itunes account has been logged into on all devices. We have reset AppleTV but that has not resolved the issue. There is no airplay icon on any of the macbooks or iPad. Has anyone else experienced this and found any solutions? Thanks.

It has always been set up as WiFi and until this weekend it worked well - now won't connect.

  • Home sharing with iOS remote app stopped working

In my home, I have four macs (3 minis and an imac), each with their own iTunes media library, and 2 ATVs.  Home Sharing is turned on, with the same ID on all of these devices.  When I operate each device natively (using keyboard/mouse or ATV hard remote), I can see the music library on each of the other devices, and play that music.  I also have an iPhone and an iPad, with the Remote app installed, and using the same Home Sharing ID.  On each of these, I can see each of the macs and ATVs, and the music in their individual libraries, and can play that music on the device on which that library resides.  So far, so good.
What I can't do, although I could do it several weeks ago, is use the remote app to access one device, and then play music from the shared library on another device.  I can see the other devices' libraries, but when I select "music" within that device, it says "no songs".  This is very curious, and like I said, it worked a few weeks ago.
Has anyone seen this issue, and do you know how to fix it?
    Thanks.

But this is where the problem starts. While I am using the remote app, I exit the app to do something else on the phone. I go back into the app, and the app attempts to connect to my iTunes library. It fails!!
I'm having this exact same problem. I was using the remote app with iTunes on my computer and speakers connected to my airport express for months with no issues at all. It worked flawlessly. But I got the new apple tv a few days ago and had to turn on home sharing as part of the setup...and then the problems began. I started having the exact issue described by the original post: the remote app will just randomly not be able to see my iTunes library. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it just sits there spinning for a while and eventually says it couldn't find my library. If I wait a few minutes it will eventually just start working again.
This is extremely annoying and is making me want to just return the apple tv and go back to my previous setup which worked perfectly. If Apple would at least acknowledge the problem and that a fix will be forthcoming, I would be satisfied.

  • Help! Everything was working and now for no reasons with no changes made the home sharing on the apple TV stopped working! now i cant play games on ipad using apple tv!

  • Home sharing with IMac and applet  not working

Sharing is turned on my IMac.  My Apple TV is on and can see the name of the IMac. The iMac has photos selected but they don,t display on the Tv.   I have verified the IMac has most recent version of ITunes. Been through TS guide, no luck. Apple TV says to turn home sharing on but it is already on. Any suggestions.

I have 2 Apple TV 2s.  I updated one to the latest iOS and it immediately lost the connection to my home shared iMac.  A week later I updated the second ATV2 and it immediately lost the connection, BUT I regained the connection with the first ATV2 I had updated earlier.  The second still won't connect even after exhausting EVERY solution numerous times and the setting on both ATV2s are identical.  Hoping the next iOS ATV update solves the problem.

  • Home Sharing Windows 8 64 Bit - Not working

Home Sharing on itune 11.0.2 stopped working. I enabled Home Sharing  and I don't see shared Folder on iTunes.
    Os : Windows 8 64-bit
    ANy thoughts.
    TIA

You might try a manual install/repair.
The instructions below I've done with Windows 7 64 bit. (not sure what will happen with Windows 8 but we may learn more)
After downloading the latest version of iTunes from Apple, extract the files in “iTunes64Setup.exe”
(If you have never done this, you may need to download a program such as WinRAR [64 bit].)
Manually run each install file in the following order.
    AppleApplicationSupport.msi
    Bonjour64.msi
    AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi
    AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi
    iTunes64.msi
If there are any errors, stop, and write back with the results.

  • My wife and I use the same apple id.  My computer shows up in her home sharing library but hers won't show up on mine.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks.

My wife and I have the same Apple ID.  When both our computers have home sharing enabled, my computer shows up in her menu but hers won't appear in mine.  Any ideas would be appreciared.  Thank you.

  • Home Sharing with Apple TV does not work

Home sharing is turned on for both iTunes and Apple TV.  Yet no files are synced to Apple TV from iTunes.  I have tried turning Home Sharing off and on both devices several times. I have also re-installed iTunes.

    If on wifi try ethernet
Go to netstumbler or similar and get a network report, look for signal strength and noise
Make sure port 123 is open on router (refer to manual if unsure)

  • Home Sharing on 2 iPhones does not work.

I have updated both of my iPhone 4 to firmware 4.3.3 recently and I have enabled the Home Sharing feature in my iTunes 10.2 on a windows 7.
Then I added my AppleID in both iPhones under Settings/iPod (the same AppleID used in the Home Sharing of iTunes) but it appears that only 1 iPhone can stream at a time.
I am saying that because when I first access my shared library from the first iPhone, it plays the song without issue.
But when I tried to access the shared library from the second iPhone, the first iPhone stopped playing the song and it can't stream the playlist anymore and the connection to the playlist of the second iPhone also got disconnected and it cannot find the shared library as well.
Then I need to power cycle the first iPhone to be able to reconnect back to the shared library.
I get the same result with many attempts.
Is there anyone who can share some ideas here?
    Thank you in advance!

By your description, it sounds like you were trying to access your library via Remote, which can only be used to access a source on a 1:1 basis for streaming.  In other words, you can't use Remote on both iPhones to connect to the same library.
If you want to simultaneously stream your iTunes library to two iPhones, you need to initiate playback from your iTunes library (not your iPhones) and select your iPhones as AirPlay devices.  See the AirPlay icon in the lower-right corner of iTunes.
Alternatively, if you have a third device (e.g. an iPad or Touch) you could use the Remote app to initiate playback on your iTunes library and select your iPhones as AirPlay devices.  But I'm pretty sure that you can't use Remote on your iPhone while simultaneously streaming to it from your iTunes library via AirPlay.

  • My itouch is frozen on the black screen with the apple icon, I've done the whole reset holding the power and home button together but still won't work. Can someone please help!?

So I've done the whole hold the power and home button, it resets but still stays frozen on the black screen with the apple icon

Did you try to reset by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?
Does it work with headphones plugged in? If yes, did you try to play music in headphone mode, then unplug during playback and start playing music again after that?
If you toggle the volume, can you see the slider moving up or down?

  • Shared Graphics at Runtime - won't work

    Hello.
I use Flash to produce CD content Navigators.
I have a source fla with a library of graphics that I want to
share. I've published the fla as a swf. The graphics properties
have Export for runtime sharing ticked.
In the same folder I have a destination fla that uses the
graphic in my source fla. I've published the destination fla as an
    swf.
My problem is that when I change a graphic in the source fla
(and re-publish) the change isn't picked up when I run my
    destination swf.
If I go into my destination fla and update the graphic, it
updates from the source so I know the linkage is ok.
I simply want my destination swf to pick up any changes at
runtime rather than having to go into the destination fla and
update and re-publish. Reason being I have over 50 destination
fla's and I don't want to have to have to update and re-publish
them all every time I make a small change via the source fla/swf.
I've also tried this when publishing as an exe as that is the
    ultimate goal.
Can anyone help please? Thank you, Wes John

Hi, thanks for the quick respone.
I do have 'import for runtime sharing' ticked but no joy.
I do wonder whether its the URL (in that same window). If you
leave it blank, a message appears saying that you must specify the
URL to import for runtime sharing. It says the URL should be the
http:// path to the SWF file. I'm not putting in
    an
http:// path. The source SWF is in the same
folder as the destination so for the URL I put ./<name>.swf
