Homepage always opens to same old album - Can I change this?

My homepage always opens to the same album - the first one I created. How do I create an album that can function as the initial page that visitors see rather than have them opening to a particular album?? It seems that it should be easy to open to a general introductory homepage rather than an album, but if this is impossible, I want to create a general album that will open first.

I've noticed the same thing. What I do is open Ps and manually expand the window frame to the largest extent possible on a single monitor. (it's not truly full screen but close enough.) If I then close Ps or bring Lightroom to the front the "maximal" state will be maintained when Ps is brought to the front again. I do not click the Maximize icon since Ps never sticks in that state when interacting with Lightroom.
I should also point out that I use two monitors so your results may be different if you use only one monitor.

ok, since 3 or 4 days, my firefox opens new window automatically. it happends at lease 20 times a day. sometimes it happends after i open some webs in new tabs, sometimes it just happens..without doing anything...and the new window often times show the homepage of google...sometimes there were other shopping-web. i try to block them unter "options-content-block pop-up windows"...but it doesnt work. and sometimes the normal webs are redireckted to some webseits...i never had this before. i didnt open some untrustable webs....so...what's going on? how can i change it?

Do you mean you have created A NEW Apple ID...
If so...
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID
If not..
Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID = Sign Out... Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.

Why does the screen change to a new one when i open itunes 10.7.1 can i change this back to how it was originaly?

Sounds like you have iTunes set as a full screen app - to view normally in the iTunes windows go to the very top right of your screen - the title bar will appear with a small blue box in the corner with 2 arrows in it - click on this and iTunes should return to how it was before.

The safest way to send images is to create a compressed file and send that.
Click the image you want to send, go to File in the menu bar and select Compress... You end up with a file with a .zip at the end. Attach that to your email. Then trash the .zip file.
The person at the other end only has to double click the .zip attachment.
You can compress are single image or a folder of them.

Have you tried the developer's support web site? Withut you providing the name of the app makes it very hard for us to give specific recommendations. The only one that i can thin of is to purchase the app using a diffeent iTunes account.

Thank you - that all makes sense. It is, indeed, exactly what I did when I upgraded.
I'm also writing this on the machine that crashed a few minutes ago (I posted the crash in another thread). I got back with a 'safe boot' - as I have done a few times before.
I've also de-installed little snitch (and then done a safe-boot & then re-boot ) since that seemed involved. I de-installed Adobe flash, since that seemed to be a problem - I then re-installed the later, apparently fixed, flash. The most recent crashes don't seeme to have a problem with flash any more.
I've posted the various ( generally different ) crashes. I also posted a summary of the similar lines that turn up in most of the crashes.
Unfortuantely, I'm actually trying to use the machine to meet some urgent deadlines and all this is not making it at all easy.
I had had great hopes for 10.7.2 - I thought that the crashes must be pretty common, so would have a common aetiology. There do seem to have been some fundamental changes to the file sytem and to the video interface (that seems to cause problems to brand new iMacs as well as to my 2009 iMac).

Is FF downloading the file as a .txt file? If so, go to "Folder Options" in the windows control panel. Click on the "File Types" tab. Scroll down until you reach the TXT file extension. Look to see what that extension opens with (lower part of panel). It probably shows notepad. Click on the <Change> button. Scroll down until you find "Microsoft Word." Select it and click the <OK> button. That should show the TXT extension is now associated with Microsoft Word. Click the <Close> button at the bottom of the panel.
If FF is downloading the file as any other type, use the same process as above except look for the corresponding extension instead. If the extension is not listed click on the <New> button and create an association using the extension in the file name and then associate it with MS Word.

I have the same question. This is also made more difficult as apple has taken away the handy full screen icon on the upper right hand corner.

Have you done a reboot? (holding the on/off and Home button at same time until the Apple logon appears.)
Also, have you tried closing all apps? (double click Home button and swipe up with your finger.)

Unfortunately - I can not use my Old Apple ID at all - Apple/Itunes is not recognizing it at all. I thought about your last suggestion and the system is not accepting the old ID and password. I believe this is because the old id (email address) is associated to a service (Verizon) that I no long have. When I discontinued service with Verizon, their email address that I used as my Old apple ID become invalid.
I am sure this scenario happens frequently - hopefully Apple can find a better solution in the future.
