Homepage not rotating ... How can I correct this ?
My homepage does not rotate to horizontal orientation. All other pages do. Can't find a setting that would correct this. Ideas ? Thanks.
Try a reset, hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad start up. No data will be lost.

If this is happening with one or two specific sites, those site may have been hacked, or they may simply be bad sites.
If it's happening with a larger number of sites, and with sites that are legit (like Google, Yahoo, Facebook, etc), then it's likely that your wireless router has been hacked. See:

My iPad does not have sound when on the Internet, including YouTube, but does have sound with iTunes and other apps. How can I correct this?
If you are sure that you have sound in other apps - and if you can still hear keyboard clicks and get notifications, then system sounds are not muted. Try this and see if it works.
Close all apps completely and reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
My gps is not working. I cannot use turn-by-turn navigation in google maps. I downloaded a GPS test app and it showed my phone is not locking on any satellites. How can I correct this?
We certainly want to make sure you get the most out of the GPS, wplaxico! Was this tested primarily outdoors? When did this begin? Any other recent apps of updates installed when this started?

My iPhone 4S will not do a back-up because it is over it's capacity due to an excessive amount of "other" data. However I actually have very little other data. How can I correct this. As it is now I can't even take a picture! Thanks!
Create a manual backup in iTunes, then restore it, restoring to your iTunes backup at the end. This will usually correct this. If it doesn't, then the problem is contained in the backup and you'll have to save as much of your data as you can, then restore it as new without using your backupo.

When I try to open a new tab using the "+" on the toolbar, nothing happens. Even trying to use the cntl t to open a new tab does not work. To open a new tab, I must right click on a hyperlink. how can I correct this? Using Firefox 3.6.18
The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

Are you saying that my address book has not been hacked into? That others are getting these email addresses from another source?
This confuses me. Are you saying that you are receiving bogus e-mails from some of your contacts, or are you saying that they are receiving bogus e-mails from you?
If the latter, there are a number of reasons that people might be getting e-mail from you. Malware, though technically possible, is extremely unlikely. See Someone is sending messages from my e-mail address!
If the former, that's rather unusual. The only decent explanation I can think of is that a bunch of your Windows-using contacts got infected with something and their machines are being used to spam everyone in their contact lists, which would include you. -
When I try to update an App I am getting my old email address (which no longer works) and when I put in its password it says password or username is wrong. but it does not give me an option to put in my new user name. How can I correct this.
What you are getting is the AppleID (AppleID can be an email adress) used at the time of the purchase of this app. It is an identifiant allowing Apple to link your purchase to your account.
If you want to manage associated email, you can go at https://appleid.apple.com but the AppleID could never be modified.
I do not know if in your case, it is just that you no longer use your old email address or that you actually a 2 AppleID. In any case, you will have to remember the password related to the account used for your purchase. If you don't, just use the link above to try to retreive your password. -
When I install ITunes on my new PC with Windows 7 the software replaces all my icons with ITunes Icons and prevents the programs from opening and instead opens ITunes. How can I correct this problem?

I cannot open any files transferred from my Windows PC to my Mac as I am "not authorized". How can I correct this?
Select the folderr containing all of those files, CMD+I, click on the lock, enter your admin password, add yourself with read & write, and click on the action button and select apply to enclosed items. That should do the trick. BTW, I don't have a PC, so i've not transfered any such files to my machine.

When iTunes say that try to find the file you want iTunes to play in your iTunes > Media folder. If iTunes offers to find others, let it. If it does not find them all you will have to find them yourself or re-add the files from your drive to iTunes (use Automatically Add to iTunes folder).

I entered the correct download code for "THE HOST" but instead got a copy of "SPRING BREAKERS"! All of the prompts identified it as "The Host" but the final product was "Spring Breakers"! I called a friend who has a copy of that movie and the download codes are not even remotely alike!! How can I correct this error? I 'd rather have SyFy that a bubblegum teenager flick!! HELP ME, PLEASE?!

Sometimes there's a hiccup in the router and resetting the router like diavonex staes will solve the problem.
Sometimes though, the website you are trying to visit has an internal problem with its server. In that case you can only wait until they fox it.
If other websites load properly and only one is having a problem then most likely the problem lies in the web server of the site you are trying to visit. -

On your iPad and iPhone tap Settigs > iCloud
Switch Documents & Data off then back on. Do the same for Contacts.
On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Documents & Data, same for Contacts then reselect both boxes then restart your Mac.
