Homepage opens with two extra tabs with unwanted quicklinks.

Opening my Homepage now also opens two (2) extra Tabs with tile links to Facebook Twitter, and other unwanted sites. This may be Yahoo, which I do not use. I could add the screen shot of these tabs, but need assistance to do so. It is a Paint, *.png file. Home Page does not have "pipes" || in the address.

Your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: Open with) if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.
You can delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

This can happen if adware Genieo is installed without your knowledge. Removing it will help,

2. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
     Turn those off and relaunch Safari to test .
     Turn those on one by one and test.

When I open more than one tab with ikls.ru web site - safari freeze immediately.

I have a Lion OS and all updates. When I open more than one tab with ikls.ru web site - safari are freezing immediately.

In safe mode the same problem in Safari. And I couldn't enable the guest account. You can see an attached pic. It's in Russian, but I think it's clear. I took a pic in a safe mode, but in normal mode it's the same.

I know that you can use two credit cards to pay an item but the problem is that i can only put the billing address of just one of the credit cards, and since the two cards are from different people (my parents) i can't do it. They live in the same place so i don't know if i should just put one of the billing address.

Hey guys. The problem actually bothers me for a while.
If I input a URL in an (microsoft) Excel Cell then turn it into a hyperlink, when I click on it. The Firfox, which is my default net browser will pop up and show the page I request. But there always has an extra tabs show some other things. Here is a sample:

Every time Firefox opens, I get new tab, with my desired page as a tab that I have to click on to get to. How do I go back to how it was in previous versions?

After updating to the newest version of Firefox, when it opens I get two tabs, and the one that comes up on my screen is new tab, with my homepage on the other, which requires that I click on it to go there. Also when I click on a link the same thing happens, a new tab page comes up, with what I clicked on as another tab that I have to click on to get to. This is actually quite annoying and inconvenient. How do I go back to the way that it was, so that when I start Firefox it opens on my home page, and when a new page opens, I see the content of the link that I clicked on? IMO This new and improved is really new and made worse.

An extra extension might have snuck in. These can be bundled with other software you might have installed recently.
Try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable. (Or if completely unwanted, remove.)
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that get rid of the extra tab?
Note: I suggest also visiting the Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program, and clicking the "Installed on" column header. This should bring the most recent additions to the top and group them by install date so you can investigate how unexpected software might have been installed.

LSOpenURLsWithRole launches browser with an extra tab

I'm opening a specific browser (Chrome, Firefox etc.) with a specific URL by
using this code:

LSOpenURLsWithRole(urlArray, kLSRolesAll, NULL, &parms, NULL, 0);
The urlArray is holding only one URL, and argsArray is empty most of the time
(unless a special browser flag is used).
Everything is working, the right browser is opened with the right URL.
The problem is that in Chrome & Firefox browsers, I keep getting an extra tab.
That means I have a tab with the requested URL, and a tab that holds the default
homepage of the browser.
What's wrong with the browser launching code?

How to open link in new tab with right click?

I'd love to be able to right click, i.e., two finger tap on the magic trackpad, and have a link open in a new tab. I know I can hold the command button to accomplish this, but then it takes two hands. I tried the following on the command line which had no effect:
defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true
Is there a way I can do a two finger tap and have the link open in a new tab?

I FINALLY found a solution! I was searching for a command-click plugin, and I found this app named "middleclick" It simulates clicking a middle mouse button, with a 3 finger tap. Now I can open links in a new tab with only one hand. Great!

Safari tabs - Can I open links in new tabs (with no key pressed)??

I am a heavy FF user and one of the most important feature I use is the tabbed browsing. The problem with Safari is, it does not allow me to set a default option to open all links (that i click) in new tabs rather than windows. There is a clear cut option available in the preferences pane of safari but that does not work. I don't want to press any button to open a link in a new tab.
Note: I know about "Merge all windows" option. But that is also one extra step right?

I'm running 10.4.11 and when I right click on a link I have the option (in the menu) to select 'Open Link in New Tab'.
Is that missing on 10.5.2?

CRM- Two Z tabs with the same name

We have a problem with 2 new tabs in a sales contract in CRM.
In the sales contract, we have created two tabs, one 1 and 2, and the problem is the name
of the tab, that is the same for both, althoung the fields in the tabs are different and fine created.
We don't why we have the problem. We have created to BADI:
ZCRM_CUSTOMER_H_BADI
ZCRM_CUSTOMER_H_BADI(2).
For the first, in the event set_title we have establish: tab1.
For the second, in the event set_title we have establish: tab2.
We think that on customizing CRMV_SSC could be missing any, but we don't know why system is showing the same name for both tabs.
Any help??

Please check the table CRMD_CUSTOMER_H and verify if the two fields are updated in this table correctly. If it is then you should not be facing problems in the BADI as well. Just keep a track of the names of the fields.

Extending the OIM Admin Console with an extra tab

Hi All,
I've been busy for some time to add an extra tab to the management console of OIM, the extra tab I succeeded adding it using the supplied documents. But on this tab a table has to be showed which gives the user the possibility to manage the content of that table (just a view on a DB table thus). I've build this application in JDev as an ADF (web)application which I then deploy as ADF library and which then should give me the possibility to add this application using a region.
So in this ADF library I have a page fragment which only contains a region which points to the workflow for the table editing, this fragment is then referred to as described in the "customizing_oim_ui_selfservice_to_add_an_adf_tab.pdf". This all looks to work just fine except for when entering the newly created tab, the tab stays blank and in the logfile I see some messages:

Every time I navigate to a new site or page I also get additional new tabs opening which say 'Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 - this page is no longer available', so I soon end up with an extra tab every time I navigate to a new page.

so I am geting an additional unwanted MS Exchange tab/window every time I navigate to a new site or bookmark. i recentlly upgraded to Firefox 5.0 and I think this problem may have started around the same time. I also have MS Outlook but this is stand alone and I do not synch online at all, and have not changed any settings in it.

Try the Firefox SafeMode.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

Firefox has always opened with an extra tab that says "server not found." How can I fix this?

Several years ago, I downloaded Firefox for the first time on my Xp machine. The browser opens to the home page, but up in the tab area, there is always, and I mean through EVERY version and upgrade since that first one, including the most recent version 4, there is a second tab just to the right of the home page tab that says, "server not found." Now, since the home page loaded, it is obvious to me that the server WAS indeed "found." what I don't understand is why this second tab is there. Any ideas? I have read through the FAQ about not finding the server, and nothing there is relevant to this, as far as I can see.
