The Maximize/Restore button only changes the size of the Firefox window, not that of content on web pages.
You may have accidentally zoomed out on that site, or the site may simply have smaller text than others.

I have used internet explorer and had no problems opening my e-mails. When I access my e-mail which is provided by AT&T using firefox, my entire e-mail is frozen. Can't access online backup and sharing web site

Does anyone know how to access the Online Backup and Sharing web site from a computer that does not have the O/B/S software installed? I used to be able to go to My Verizon/My Services/Internet and hit "Launch" for O/B/S, and the link would go directly to the web site for uploading or downloading material. Now, that link takes me to a Verizon page that asks to activate the O/B/S service, and wants to download the software. My O/B/S service was activated years ago and has worked until recently without the software installed. There is no other obvious way to get to the O/B/S web site. (If it matters, I tried this in both IE 9, with Windows 7 64-bit, and Safari.)
After some effort, I got the help number for the outside vendor that runs the O/B/S service. They say that the Verizon web site should link directly to their O/B/S web site, regardless of whether or not the O/B/S software is installed locally, but that the failure to do so is entirely an error of Verizon's on the Verizon web site and they have nothing to do with it. They also said there is no way to bypass the Verizon web site to get to a Verizon O/B/S account on their web site. They said they have received many complaints about this from Verizon O/B/S customers, and that the same problem has even arisen when the O/B/S software is installed on the local computer.
So does anyone know if it is really necessary to install the O/B/S software on any computer used to access O/B/S, and if it is now impossible to access the material from any other computer? That would be a major reduction in the usefulness of the service that was not announced anywhere that I know of. I saw a strong of comments on this issue in the Forums from a few years ago, but the conclusion was that the problem had been fixed. It seems to have arisen again.

Anthony, I tried to private message you several times, but I kept getting an error message stating that my message had invalid HTML that was being removed, and to resend. It did not actually have any HTML, and hitting the resend button just led to the same message.
Also, since my last post, I downloaded the OBS software onto my computer. This gave me access to OBS from that computer. However, even after doing this, I cannot use the old method of directly getting to the OBS web site from My Verizon. The link from "Launch" does not work either on the computer with the OBS software or on any other computer. Rather, the link goes only to the Verizon page saying that my OBS service has not been activated (which it surely has been) and asking to download the OBS software.
If this is happening to everyone and not just to me, this means that material stored on OBS is only available from a computer that has the OBS software downloaded on it. That is certainly not supposed to be the case, and it would make OBS much less useful.
Again, the OBS technical people said that this was a problem that they knew about, but it was entirely a problem with the Verizon web site that they could not do anything about.

Unable to delete a SharePoint 2010 My Sites content Database and IIS Web Site even after changing timeout

I am currently having issues with deleting a content database for mysites which has web application http://<servername>:11100. The database was migrated from sharepoint 2010, but on creating web app it timed out (was corrupt due to this). Problem
is I cannot delete now as I get "Request Timed Out". Even when I try just deleting the Web App or the Content Database individually. I have already updated the timeout on the Central Admin App Pool to 300. This used to work, but no joy now. Seems
like ever since I added this My Sites Web App I am getting this problem.
The setup is 1 Database Server (64GB), 1 Admin Server (24GB) and 3 WFE Servers (12GB each) - all VMS. System is also running PowerPivot. Central Admin is running on a WFE server. Is this setup OK for just one user? Reason I have 3 WFE is this already existed
and App Servers will be scaled out when we start testing. Running 11 Web Applications.
Help appreciated - any ideas?

OH - I tried to delete with powershell and it tells me it requires SHarePoint Administration Service to be running, but the problem is it is already running on the WFE with Central Admin on.

The timeout may cause this issue. But would you let me know the error message when we delete the database?
However, you can delete the web application(my site host) and click delete database and IIS web site option.
Also, you can try to clean cache and check if issue persists:
Please stop SharePoint Timer Service.
Please navigate to the cache.ini file location:
Delete all the .xml file and only leave cache.ini in the file location.
Edit the Cache.ini file and set it to 1.
Save the Cache.ini file
  Start SharePoint Timer Service. The cache file will be created autumnally.

Everytime I'm playing a Face Book or other web sites after time has gone by I keep getting an error message that says something about an unresponsive Script or its busy. Getting very annoying

After playing for awhile a Face book game or any other web sites I begin getting an error message that says a busy or unresponsive Script. It has the option of "Continuing" or "stopping" the script When I click to Continue the same error keeps popping up all the time. Same as with clicking on the "Stop" the script option. Check on the setting, as far s i know it was there by going on tools>options> privacy then check it out. If there was no changes, what i can suggest is try to update your firefox.

Firefox crashes when I try to print from Yahoo mail and some web sites

I am running Mac, OSX 10.4.11. Firefox has automatically upgraded me to version 3.6.15 and variations in between for months now.
I have been having problems printing to my Epson CS5800F for at least a couple of weeks if not months. I'm not really sure which version it began with, only that it's been weeks.
Printing from web sites is intermittent. From Yahoo! mail it is almost daily. I have downloaded and reinstalled the Epson printer drivers which seemed to solve the problem for about a day. Then I was right back where I started. I am very frustrated and aggravated because I need to be able to print e-mail and web site information. And I did not have this problem in the past.
Is there a fix for this problem? Can I revert back to an earlier version of Firefox where I did not have this problem? I cannot upgrade my OSX to fix this... as this is not an option on this Mac.

Okay... i pasted it below, as I didn't read that far down before I posted it here. I cannot find the Crash ID(s) which would be in multiples this past week.
I have submitted all crash reports, at the time of crashing, or so it seems, as the crash report window says it will report my crashes. There have been many in the past week... too many to count. And, I have requested help in the last 3 or 4 of them... and entered my e-mail address, plus a request for assistance, but so far, no replies or information has been submitted back to me at my e-mail address. So, I am wondering if this really works, and if you are getting my reports at all.
I really need to get this problem fixed so I can stop wasting so much time restarting and copying and pasting items into text to print. This is not how a browser should work. And I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback I can get to resolve this problem asap. I need to be efficient in my work and this is not allowing that.

Plastic frame/strip has small gap and a little loose on iPad 2

I have an iPad 2 and recently noticed that near the upper right side, the thin black plastic trim/frame between the silver backing and glass bevel/screen has a small gap and moves a little if I press with my thumbnail. You have to look close to notice it, but I am wondering if this is a problem or could become a problem? I may be looking for perfection, given that it is an Apple product and have returned 4 previous droid tablets due to cosmetic issues, but ultimately would love some feedback to either gain peace of mind or advisement on if I need to address a potential issue. I'd take it into your local apple store and have them look at it. If it's a defect it needs to be addressed, or at least documented in case it worsens.

My safari switched to small size and can't restore to normal size

Anyone pls help, while I launched the safari on my iPad, it automatically becomes a very small size/window. I can't find a way to restore back to the normal screen despite I had tried turned off the zoom features.
