Homesharing---how do I sync the playlists if I already have my music on the second computer?

Okay, I have two different computers---my netbook (WinXP) and my wife's desktop (Win7).
I want to be able to sync my iPod Touch on both computers, so I set up home sharing. It works like a charm, and all of my music and videos sync up perfectly to my wife's computer. One thing that DOESN'T transfer is the playlists. As far as my wife's computer is concerned, all of my music is on a single, generic playlist called "Recently Added".
I have a ton of playlists, dividing my music into Classic Rock, Accompaniment mp3's, Country, etc. How to I get my wife's iTunes to recognize those playlists and sync them between the two computers? I would figure simply exporting and importing the playlists from one to the other would work, but the user on one computer is "Jeremy Bullard" and the other is "Jeremy and Mary", which screws with the source path of where the playlist would find the music.
Thoughts?

By syncing. The users manual says:
New and changed playlists are copied to your iTunes library the next time you sync iPod touch with your computer, or via iCloud if you’ve subscribed to iTunes Match.
You have to sync, not manage music manually in iTunes.
