Homesharing music shows books as well ... I don't want that.

I put on homesharing on my desktop and laptop.
Music is on a NAS, but via my desktop.
On my laptop I see Also books in iTunes. Don't want that. What can I do?

If you want to change your iCloud ID to another existing ID you'll have to delete the account, create a new account with the other ID, and migrate your data to the new account.
Before deleting the account, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll or you will lose them. To do this, open the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On iPhone. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.

It seems that our internet provider has changed some settings so we now - instead of operating the Extreme in bridged mode - should set the router/Extreme to share a public IP address. However, I get an error message that no IP address assigned. I have talked for half an hour with our provider and they say everything is fine at their end and that there perhaps is some setting in the Extreme that should be checked in order to get it to work.

I don't think you understood what I wrote. You don't HAVE to pay for everything if you are happy with using the other account for updates, etc. But if you don't want to do that then you will have to buy new copies of everything for the new account. There's only one purchase item per account, but you can redownload an item in the account many times.
The idea is this:
One computer, multiple devices, one Apple ID.
One user, multiple devices, one Apple ID.
The basic idea is that each user has an Apple ID under which he/she can manage multiple devices on a single computer.
Once you step outside of that model you create such problems as not being able to use or update apps purchase under one Apple ID when using a different Apple ID. Or not being able to easily sync one device on more than one computer.

Thank you for replying. I've been looking at your posts about setting up iTunes using an external drive. A bit of background info. My old computer broke down, so I got a new one from work. I've always kept my music files on my external drive (I have around 170GB of music). I didn't follow the suggestions in the "migrate iTunes library" post because my old computer died on me. However, I've looked at your posts about lay out of the iTunes folders. Before connecting to iTunes on the new computer, I had reorganized my iTunes folder on my E: external drive, and created an iTunes folder which contains an iTunes Media subfolder. The music files are in a Music folder, which is in the iTunes Media folder. I've also put the following files in my iTunes folder: iTunes Library.itl, iTunes Library Extras.itdb, iTunes Library Genius.itdb, iTunes Music Library.xml, as well as sentinel. I then followed the advice you gave bmw99 on 2 Nov 2013 at 9.58 (sorry, can't copy the exact answer).
Just to clarify: I'd like to keep all my music media on the E: external hard drive (the computer hard drive is too small), and I'm aware i might never have my playlists back, and that all the songs in my library might be ticked. However, I don't want my library to be duplicated.
I'm at work at the moment, but will be back home in about 10 hours, so I can be more specific about folders / files names.

I am having a similar problem with my iPhone 5. When I first got the iPhone 5 I synced it with my old Mac mini. Since then my old Mac mini broke forcing me to purchase a brand new Mac mini. Now I am trying to sync my iPhone 5 with the new Mac mini and it seems like the the only option I have is to erase my iPhone. None of the work abounds that I found on the net apply to me because I am unable to access the old Mac mini that my phone is synced with.
What can I do about this? I have a lot of photos, videos and GarageBand files on my iPhone 5 that I am not willing to part with. Between the time that my old mac mini broke and now, my iphone has been my computer so everything I have done in the past 5 months is on this phone. I have been a loyal apple customer for over 15 years. I just dropped another $1000.00 on a new Mac mini just to be rewarded with being told that I have to erase my iPhone before I can use it with my new computer. That kinda *****. Welcome to the Apple Community.
iTunes and iCloud are different accounts. You can both use the same ID for the store login and share your music etc., and use different ID's to log in to iCloud, thereby keeping your calendars etc separate.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the mislabelled item. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

Thank you for the question. The best way to avoid this behavior would be to delete the music video from your library. You can always download it again free by accessing your previous purchases. To delete and item in your iTunes library, select the item and hit delete on your keyboard.

What are your settings in System Preferences > Language & Text > Region? Numbers uses your system setting as default.

iTunes purchases are always on iCloud. They don't get uploaded there. They are simply there because you purchased them.
When you first purchqse, iTunes (computer or phone) should download them. If they are not downloaded, you will see the cloud icon.

Beginning with firmware update 3.0, it is possible to sync personal contacts and calendar events direct with the supported application or applications on your computer via the iTunes sync process and sync business contacts and calendar events over the air with an Exchange account at the same time.
With a Mac, this can be with the Address Book and iCal, and with a PC this can be with Outlook 2003 or 2007.
Contacts and calendar events are included with your iPhone's backup. If you weren't syncing your personal calendar events direct with a supported application on your computer via the iTunes sync process and you restore your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, where do you expect your personal calendar events to be?
If you weren't doing so, the only way to restore your personal calendar events is by restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup.

There's more to it than that.
Folders in Aperture do not hold Images. They hold Projects and Albums. You cannot put an Image in a Folder without putting it in a Project or an Album inside that Folder.
The relationship between Projects and Images is special: every Image must in a Project, and can be in only one Project.
Images can be in as many Albums you want. Putting an Image in an Album does not move it from the Project that holds it.
You can make as many Versions from a Master as you want.
What you want to do may appear simple to you, but it still much adhere to how Aperture works. I still can't tell exactly what you are trying to do (specifically: Images don't live in Folders; moving an Image from a Folder is non-sensical).
It can be very confusing (and frustrating) to get going with Aperture -- but it does work, and can be enormously helpful. If you haven't, take a look at the video tutorials on Apple's Aperture support site.
I feel as though I haven't helped you much -- but we need to be using the same names for interface items in order to get anything done -- and my sense is that you still haven't learned the names of the parts.

Are you using iBooks Author?
If so you can choose a blank template.
iBooks Author > File > New from Template Chooser... > use the Blank template.
