Homesharing only lets me play one video then must restart everything!!??

I have fully updated Apple TV 3 and iTunes on Windows 8 64 bit.
If I connect to home sharing on my apple tv I can play one show, podcast, song, whatever and then it stops letting me play anything. It goes in an endless loading circle whenever I try to play anything else. I can still browse all the songs and album art and thumbnails show up but I can't play them. The only way to be able to play again is to restart iTunes.
What is this ?????

I am having the same problem which is very annoying
I have spent days trying to solve that issue
My new ATV will play one song from Home Sharing and then drops trying endlessly to buffer the next
song UNTIL I restart Itunes again (laptop runnig windows 7 with itunes 11.0.2.something)
I almost tried all suggested workarounds but none helped.
Very frustrating.
router ,fixed ip, multicast filtering, lan ethernet connection, direct - NOTHING!
AND NOW THE BIG SURPRISE
I have ny daughter PC runnug windiws XP with Itunes 11.0.1 or so
and ATV PLAYING all her HOME SHARING library smoothly without even one drop!
Also I want to add when my main Home sharing laptop disappears from my ATV after playing one song
also my iphone will loose its connection (the REMOTE applicaiotn).
Dont know what to do

How to play one video in loop?

My DVD will have 7 videos which are on separate timeline each. The Menu will have a button to each video and a "Play All" button.
Each video's Ends Action is set to the next video.
Each button's Link and Override is set to the same video file.
When I press a button, the video plays in loop just two times, then plays the next video, which is not what I want.
How to set a button to play a video in loop until the Menu button on the remote is pressed, still having the option to "Play All" using another button?

Bill - "Return to last menu" will bring me back to menu page after playing a video, which is not what I want.
Stanley - by setting each video end action to the next video I can do "Play All" in loop. The problem I have is creating a button that will play only one video in loop, still having the "Play All" button able to play all in loop.
However, let me try to explain in other words what I want to do.
This DVD is a trading show products presentation DVD that will contain 7 videos(for 7 products). The user must be able to play one video in loop until he presses any key on the remote, or select "Play All" and play all videos in loop until he presses any key on the remote (or stop the DVD, it doesn't matter).
The way I described it on the first post does work as "Play All", but the problem is that when I press a button that suppose to play only one video in loop, (by having that button override set to "Link back to here")it plays the selected video in loop two times, then goes to the next video playing all in loop.
I know how to make a button that will play a video in loop until you press Menu, or how to make a button that will play all until you press Menu, but I do not know how to have them both on the same DVD other than creating a separate video file for Play All, but that would not fit on the same DVD with individual videos.
I do not see how can I achieve this without the use of override feature though, but if you think it will, please let me know how.

Laptop won't let me play any video or change the brightness of the screen at all.

I got this new Laptop a few months ago and it has just recently started to play up slightly and not let me change my brightness settings at all and now it won't let me play any videos.

I got a solution
First check out your performance settings and if u dont know where to find it just right click on my computer and enter to propreties then click on performance and tools, then if the gamming and desktop aero system are 1.0 then you have three solutions.
1) Install a new windows
2) check out your computer driver and install tge latest version
3) or simply you can download DRIVER PAC SOLUTION and install it then after installation is done you might wanna restart the system and check performance again then it should desplay NEW HARDWARE DETECT REFRESH NOW then click on refreah and the rating is gonna go up from1.0.to higher than 4.0.

Playing one video after another, PLZ help!

Im trying to play one video and then when this finishes i want to start another. Can anyone help in any way?
when i do it it seems to ignore the first video and start the second straight away. any idea why?

You should add a controllerListener to the player you create, when the media file end, jmf raises the EndOfMedia event to controllerUpdate method. You can do whatever you want at this point.

Anyone else think it is wrong to only let you make one recovery of your computor

anyone else think it is wrong that hp only let you make one back up of your operating sys then say if it is lost or damaged you have to buy a new one, beore they used to give you a disk when you bought your compuer with no restrictions on how many copies now it comes with your comp and you can only back it up once,even though its new and people have accidents or lose thing. Compters are expencive and they should not restrict people on how many copies they make as they only work on that compuer any way??

I have only used the recovery media once on my PC. Mainly to see if it work rork. I have both DVD's and Flash recovery.
I always have several back up images on two different external drives. I have images with factory setting and images of current images. I use Macrium Reflect. IMHO that is the only way to go. I have never had any problems restoring my OS with Macrium Reflect. I have been doing it for years and not one failure. My recovery media would be the last offence, but it's nice to know that it's there.

Itunes only lets me buy one song and then it tells me that itunes cant process credit card at this time try later, all this since i used itunes gift card and left a 16cents balance on it.

OK, I'm starting to understand this. When I turned on iTunes match it moved my songs to the cloud, so they are not longer on my computer. When I look at my song list most (all but 25) have a little cloud symbol next to them which means they are on the cloud and not on my computer.
So not what I have to understand is how to sync my music which is on the cloud with my nano which cannot connect to the cloud.

Since your device is so new, I can state categorically that this an issue with configuration. Delete the account that doesn't work, and enter the information anew.
If you're still having problems, check that your email address and password are correct, and if possible, verify it by checking your ISP's settings.

There used to be a 'buy all' button on the wish list screen but for some reason that has been removed from the current version of iTunes so you will need to buy each item individually. You need to select and sync them in one go. Photos that you sync from your computer can't be deleted directly in the Photos app, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync - so you've effectively been telling iTunes to replace the folder that you've just synced with a new folder

iTunes playlist on my computer can play one song then stop because there is the uncheck all songs feature, but apparently iPhone doesn't have the same feature.
Need to play one song then have it stop instead of going to another song in the playlist. Creating 20+ single-song playlists is inefficient.

Make sure all of your songs have a checkmark next to the song title. There are small blue boxes that need to be checked for songs to play consecutively.
If the library is unchecked, you can easily recheck things by clicking on a song, going to the top line selecting Edit>Select All, then right clicking on the selection and choosing "Check Selection".

What you'd have to do is go on your iPod: MUSIC -> ALBUM -> Christmas CD. By doing this, you'll play every song from that album regardless of artist.

IPhone-only play one song then quits. After update

My Phone seems to have a problem where it only plays one song out of a playlist and maybe 2 seconds out of the next song and it quits the program and goes to the home page. The audio books don't seem to remember to start where they quit also. Worked fine before upgrade. Haven't tried to reset phone yet. Thanks for help.

Upon resyncing with my laptop this am the bug seemes to be gone and both problems have corrected them selfs. All songs play like they should and the audio books do remember where they stopped at.
