Honestly, this annoying problem I have had for months on end... [X201]

And its freaking pissing me off. When I occasionally go on Youtube, my laptop screen goes black and hangs up until I do a hard reset. If I wait for the black to go away it just doesn't. It will show some buttons on my screen but for the most part it just goes black and I can't do anything until I force a shutdown by holding down the power button.
This is NOT cool. I could be damaging my laptop in the longterm if I don't find a work around. And this annoying issue only happens when I go on Youtube sometimes. First the battery problem and now this? Can someone give me a solid solution to this problem or will I have to toss this laptop out my apartment window? I know it has to do with the graphics card in some shape or form and I know 100% that I can't be the only one experiencing this problem.

Let's look at the issue, determine a cause and figure out a solution.
First, does this happen each and every time you go to youtube or just sometimes. It isn't clear from your description if you only occasionally go to Youtube (and it hangs everytime) or it only hangs occasionally (but you go to Youtube often.)
YouTube is just a website like any other but may require some plugins or updated drivers. This isn't a Lenovo issue but may be an issue with drivers or the browser you are using.

Over the past several weeks/months,multiple problems have emerged with this phone withich I have had for 2 years.

The first to go was visaable voicemail. After 2 support calls, it still doesn't work. This was an app I considered "critical" when I purchased the phone - I am out of the office the majority of time, and need quick repnse to my clients' calls.
Then, there seemed to be battery issues...wasn't holding a charge as long, takes loner to charge.
Text messaging- frequently get "can't send"... powering down/back on doesn't resolve the issue. It sometimes send the text, but no pattern as to when or why.
SIM card error....message is that SIM card does not exist or is damaged and a message that I can continue to make emergency calls. The error generally just disappears and I can continue calling, but lately, the error often causes the phone to power off.
Any suggestions or other than 2 hours support calls?
It's interesting that I'm having tese issues now that my contract has ended and I can get another phone ...with another 2 year contract.

indoors and outdoors. my zip code is 07094. i know this issue is specific with this device only. if i hook up my galaxy s3 or bb device on same line with same sim card i have zero issues. I do get service when i am in and around my house but i drive a few blocks down it goes down to no service (circle with the line through it). most of the time i can't regain service by switching airplane mode on and off. Sometimes it works but i should not for any reason have to do this to use my phone.
Things i have done to troubleshoot.
-a replacement phone
-new sim card
-hard reset
-activated other devices with this line and sim.

Problem I've had for months, albums are split.

I checked the FAQ, and the solutions it provided there didn't help anything; I'd already tried them many times.

I changed the album title, artist, and album artist for all of the songs at once (selecting all 13 and using command-I), and yet, it still does this. None of the fields are different among the songs except for Track Number.
Why does it do this? Please, help!

i got this issue a few times. each time, i found this to be related to an information somehow different between songs that leads iTunes to think they are from different album.
besides the album title and album artist fields, there is other fields that must be identical in order to have songs being in the same album. they are; Year, Number of tracks, Disc Number and Number of discs.
here is how to solve the issue. first, select all songs from your album and do a "get info". having selected all of the album's songs, you will see only commun information to all songs. be sure to click the check box besides all fields that must be commun to all album's songs and retype the information.
it may be as simple as having one song with a blank space in one of these fields that let think iTunes it is not the same album.

This is the fix I got from discussions and it worked for me. It is copied below. I just did the manual fix which I have underlined. Good luck! Regards, Belle.
This can occur because libmxl2.dll is not in your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support folder.
There have been some issues with this and other dlls not being in the right place (or not being everywhere they should be) since the 10.3.1.55 iTunes update.
However, I note that the 10.4 iTunes update is now out - surprisingly quickly - so try installing that, rebooting, and see if your issue is solved.
If it isn't, though, here's the manual fix:-
With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the libmxl2.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well.
I actually had the issue with SQLite3.dll, and the above fix worked for me (I found it in an April 2010 posting!).
I passed on the fix as above for the similar issue with libmxl2.dll to someone who had exactly your problem, and he reported that it fixed it for him.

The mouse is controlled by the OS so don't guess any app other than a mouse driver or OS X itself would be able to cause this sort of flicker issue.
Have you seen the following and is it what you are seeing? Maybe you could make a movie (Quicktime is great for this this to make a screen recording) - but not sure how to attach a movie to these discussions as mine is grayed out and can't be selected (to the right of the insert image). Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?

Do the songs play in iTunes?

Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

If you had a paid product such as Acrobat Pro, re-download, install, and activate it with your serial number.

First check that your device is not full, maybe you may have to delete some photos or apps to make space to do updates. if its not full then you will have to try pluging it into your pc/mac running itunes then doing a backup and restore. Then you should be able to do your updates.
Sorry but i cant think of any other way if its showing as installed already but is not there.
