Hookup Bose Component connection to Vizio TV HDMI connection
I got a new tv over the weekend and am trying to hook up my Bose sound system. Is there an adapter that can be used to hook up the 5 plug component from the bose to the hdmi on the tv?
The tv only has one set of component plugs that will be used for the WII.
Thanks for any assistance.
Exactly what kind of Bose system do you have? If you're using as a DVD player, my honest suggestion would be to upgrade to Bluray and use the Bose for audio only.

Can HD Movies be viewed via Component connection?
Does anyone know if an HD rental can be viewed over a component connection?
If there's a need for HDMI to be connected, could I still do the actual viewing over component?
(I have a TV with no HDMI port, but it will display HD resolution via component. I have a problem with my cable provider because it will only send HD through HDMI - regardless of what's plugged-in to the set top box.)you can use either HDMI or component.
watching an HD movie over component will work fine. -
I have an ipod classic 160 GB and I also have the dock to connect it to my TV with composite cables. I would like to hook it up but using component av cables. Does Apple sell a component connection to hook up my Ipod to my TV?

JCA Binding Component connection issue in the Oracle Order Demo Application
Hi,
I setup the Oracle Fusion Middleware. I also deployed the Oracle Fusion Order Demo Application in the soa_server. I placed the order in the store front web.I initiated the webservice (OrderBookingService) and found the below error in the soa_server_diagnostic log file.
=====================================================================================================================================
Caused by: BINDING.JCA-12563
Exception occured when binding was invoked.
Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'Write' failed due to: JCA Binding Component connection issue.
JCA Binding Component is unable to create an outbound JCA (CCI) connection.
OrderBookingComposite:USPSShipment [ Write_ptt::Write(body) ] : The JCA Binding Component was unable to establish an outbound JCA CCI connection due to the following issue: BINDING.JCA-12510
JCA Resource Adapter location error.
Unable to locate the JCA Resource Adapter via .jca binding file element <connection-factory/>
The JCA Binding Component is unable to startup the Resource Adapter specified in the <connection-factory/> element: location='eis/file/FODFileAdapter'.
The reason for this is most likely that either
1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the WebLogic Application server or
2) the '<jndi-name>' element in weblogic-ra.xml has not been set to eis/file/FODFileAdapter. In the last case you will have to add a new WebLogic JCA connection factory (deploy a RAR).
Please correct this and then restart the Application Server
The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception.
=====================================================================================================================================Thanks Guys.
I resolved the issue.
The issue is that FileAdapter for FulFillment mediator is missing.
Solution 1:
File adapter connection factory needs to be created via the weblogic console
The details below:
JNDI Name: eis/file/FODFileAdapter
controlDir java.lang.String /tmp/control
inboundDataSource java.lang.String jdbc/SOADataSource
outboundDataSource java.lang.String jdbc/SOADataSource
outboundDataSourceLocal java.lang.String jdbc/SOALocalTxDataSource
outboundLockTypeForWritejava.lang.String oracle
Solution 2:
seedFodFileAdapterResources target in $FOD_HOME/bin/common-sca-tools.xml needs to be executed to create the file adaptor.
Thanks.

I am using a 42" Vizio 120hz hdmi TV for editing but...
I am using a 42" Vizio 120hz hdmi TV 1920/1080p for editing but when there is action in the video, like fast dancing, I get a thin 1 pixel wide horizontal tear in the video monitor section of cs5.5. I have tryed 3 other tv's like this & it still happens when there is a lot of movement in the picture. HD footage does it more often then SD. It is barely noticable but annoying. Does anone know what to do? I have tryed cutting the resolution to 1/2 but that doesn'nt really help.
I have a new PC with :

ASUS Sabertooth X58 LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

EVGA 025-P3-1579-AR GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) HD 2560MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video CardYou're saying the TV is being used as the computer monitor?
In that case, don't worry about it. Premiere Pro's built-in monitors are for content viewing only. Minor glitches can be safely ignored.
For quality control, you need a properly calibrated external TV. -

I bought an apple tv2 and hooked it up through an HDMI to component converter then to my HDTV as it does not have an HDMI connection. When I turned it on, I got the start up screen x3. Three of the start up screen all across the display. Is there any way to make it work? Thanks
Welcome to the Apple Community.
I'd strat by restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for a 30 seconds. It may however be the converter, compliant converters won't let you watch HDCP protected content and probably won't support scaling either. -
Using a macbook pro, want to hook it up to a vizio 27" HDMI DTV for my monitor
I have a vizio 27" TV HDMI etc. Want to use this for my computer monitor. I have and HDMI cable, I have a mini display port to HDMI adapter. I see that it responds to the connection but I can't see the mouse nor keypad activity.

Yes, you can use wireless keyboard and mouse which connect via bluetooth on your mac. -
No picture using component connections with Sony STR-DG710 Receiver
I have been unable to get a picture (sound appears to be ok) using component cables to connect to a Sony 710 receiver - the (2) HDMI inputs on the receiver are taken by equipment that can not use component cables. Apple Store checked Apple TV unit and said component outlets were ok. I did barrow one of the HDMI cables to set the system up (1080i resolution was selected). Does anyone have an idea what the problem is?
There may be an easy answer here. It's your receiver - not the apple TV
1080p HDMI Inputs: The Sony receiver features two 1080p HDMI inputs and one 1080p HDMI output. The receiver transmits both audio and video through the HDMI monitor output to your TV or you can choose for the HDMI monitor out terminal to only output video to your television. Video signal that is input through HDMI input can only be output through the HDMI monitor output terminal.
Note: The receiver does not offer video upconversion.
So it looks like if you go HDMI in - you have to go HDMI out (to your TV)
If you go component in - you need to go component out (to your TV) -
Presently I have a mini display port>VGA adaptor, running to a convertor box I picked up that handles S-video out, which is working fine for SD. I also have a VGA to Component Video (5 wire RCA) adaptor cable. Connecting Component adaptor dircetly to the mini display adaptor doesn't seem to work, neither does plugging it into a VGA port on the SD convertor box. I am guessing there is another convertor box out there that will help me make the transition from mini display to Component. Even if it means having a handful of adaptors plugged in. does anyone know where to find such a wonderful and magical device?
ThanksYour setup works fine for DV, because you used a DV deck and most likely DV footage. But now you are working with 720p HD footage (what format, BTW? HDV, dvcpro HD?). That same setup won't work for monitoring HD. Now you need an HD box or card to send out a proper HD signal. And since you have an older G5, you won't find any current solutions. You'll have to look at used capture cards that are PCIx. Or you and look at the Matrox MXO, that connects to the computer via a monitor connection. DVI.

Connecting to NTSC monitor via component connection
I'm getting ready to add an NTSC monitor to my home editing system and I want to connect via the RGB for the best color correcting results. I don't want to go through a deck - mostly because I don't own one and none of my cameras do a component signal out. Anyone have any thoughts on the best means of getting an RGB signal out of FCP to an NTSC monitor?

Need help setting up my Apple TV. I have good video, but no audio using either the HDMI cable by itself or by connecting a optical video cable through the aux receiver for home theater. I've replaced the Apple TV box, swapped out HDMI cables, reset the Apple TV box, all to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks
Connected only using HDMI to Onkyo Receiver and HDMI out to Samsung 1080p TV. So far so good.

If your sound system has an optical input, the easiest way is just to connect it to the optical output on the Apple TV. -
