Hopefully easy question that I can't for the life of me figure out

I accidentally removed the ethernet pane in the network panel of system prefs.
Now, when I click the button to add it back, it gives me the option for "ethernet 2," implying the first one is still…something.
How to I just get that default panel back?
More specifically, is there a way I can just reset my network prefs to default?

Create it as Ethernet 2, then rename it via the action button next to the plus & minus signs.

Fandango says "Mobile tickets and passbook available." My Fandango app is updated to the latest version, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the ticket on my passbook.

My question is what happens to my music library, if I uninstall and then reinstall will all my music be there?
Under normal circumstances, an uninstall/reinstall doesn't touch your content. (That being said, it's still always a good idea to maintain a current backup at all times in case of disasters of any sort.)

I bought a full season of a TV show. I downloaded all episodes, I went to my iTunes library, selected the episode I wanted to watch. I got this message: This computer is already associated with an Apple ID. I can't for the life of me get the TV shows to play. I went on iTunes and when to my purchases. Clicked on the episodes and the same message popped up. How do I get these to play? I also see my download box with an error message saying it has paused the download. I click unpause and it just pauses again. I have been able to get one of the episodes to play once through, but now it gives me the same message.

It's been months, so you may not care anymore, but you can't download songs from multiple Apple IDs over a 90 days period. Sorry, it's not allowed for legal reasons.

Ipod disabled and i can't for the life of me restore it HELP PLEASE!

Okay so last year I bought an ipod touch 2nd gen off a friend I lost it 3 months later the other day my mom managed to find it in the stuff I left behind. It's passcoded to prevent my brother hacking into it, and wouldn't you know it I can't hack it for the life of me and i no longer have the computer it was synced to. I've looked threw the forum and people keep linking to a restore page but i can't seem to restore it. Could someone walk me through it step by step? It would be great to have an ipod again.
I'm not getting error messages just the apple pops up and itunes tells me it can not access my ipod with the password on it.

A few questions that I can't find the answers to

I have done a search online but can't find answers, so wondering if someone could help.
1. The phone doesn't seem to be automatically backing anything up to SkyDrive even though it's set to do that. I assume it can't back up from the SD card but what about text messages that should be stored in phone memory?
2. Is it possible to automtaically back up photos and videos from the SD card to SkyDrive?
3. How do I check if my internet is connecting to wifi or GPS? (as I dont want to unnecessarily be paying for GPS). Sometimes I can't see the icons at the top of the screen.

Here's your questions;

The answers are;
1. You do not have direct access to anything backed up except for media files. A backup will restore when you register a (new) phone with the same Microsoft account. This means you will not find your backed up text messages on the Skydrive linked to your Microsoft account.
2. The pictures backup process will backup any photo or video you take on the phone once it is saved. For videos and best quality photos a Wi-Fi connection is required. It isnot relevant whether you have setup the phone to save images to SD card or internal strage.
If you do not see photos taken appear on SkyDrive even if you have set up the option correctly (see below) There's probably some external reason it's not working. I doubt it has anything to do with the phone.

Can not for the life of me get printing to work on my mac mini duo core

I have a photosmart 7550 and laserjet 1012. And I can't get my mac mini to recognize either printer. This has been driving me nuts. I was a long time mac user in the 80s and early 90s. Switched to Windows. Just switched back with the mac mini (intel duo core). And I hate to say it, but it's just been an awful transition. My wife, which hates me that I made her get rid of her windows machine and switched it with this mini. If I don't get this mac printing I'm going to have to get rid of it.
I've installed/reinstalled drivers from HP, removing the library/printer/hp directory. Guten-print. Nothing is working for me.
Can anyone help me?

If the printers are not being recognized by the Printer Setup Utility, it may mean that the printing services has not started up. You can check for this by using the Activity Monitor (/Applications/Utilities). Set it to show "All Processes", then click on the "Process Name" tab. That will sort the running processes in alphabetical order. Look for an entry for "cupsd". If you find no such entry, printing services is not running. You can probably turn it on by enabling Printer sharing (System Preferences-->Sharing).
There should be a driver for the Laserjet 1012 that will be useable once you get the computer to recognize that there is a printer there. This according to the Apple article listing the drivers included with Intel Macs . Unfortunately, that article does not list a driver for the 7550. According to HP's support site, they do have drivers for Mac OS X 10.4. There is no entry, however, for the Intel Macs. I think you will have to wait for HP to release Intel drivers for the Photosmart printer.

I can not for the life of my apply any color correction or any other effect to a png logo I dragged into my Premiere Pro project.

Someone please help. I can't figure out how to apply a color correction or really any effect for that matter to a png logo. I could have sworn I've done it before but maybe you just can't.

I can definitely apply a Video Effect to a still image that is a PNG file in Premiere Pro CC (2014.2)
Here is what I tried (that worked):
Set the playhead at the start of your still image (shift+drag playhead) in the timeline, you can now see it in the Program monitor.
With the Selection Tool, double-click the still image clip in your timeline.
Display Effect Controls (Window menu).
In the Effects panel, expand Video Effects > Adjust and drag the Levels effect into the Effect Controls. Make sure you don't have the 'Master' image selected (if it is you'll be making changes wherever the still is used in a sequence),
Now adjust the settings for the fx in the Effect Controls panel, and you should be able to see a change.
Hope this works for you. If not, can you let us know what version of Premiere you are using and what steps you are trying to use?

I can't for the life of me get a SWF or FLA file to play in IE 8.

What in the world do I have to do to get a flash file to play in IE 8. Dreamweaver can't embed it correctly or any other code I can find on the internet can do it. This appears to be the result of either a IE 8 update or a Flash player update.
Please please help.

I can not for the life of me setup googlesync for my Mac contacts andiPhone

I have tried everything.I already have a google account so I followed the guide and setup exchange on my iPhone and iPad and turned off MobileMe, the iPhone and iPad did successfully sync contacts in the exchange section but then I needed to setup my Mac adress book to also sync with google contacts. I went to adress book preferences and checked sync with google then entered my google account info, I hit the sync button on the menu bar and nothing went to google contacts on the web, I do not have any contacts at all in google contacts but I do have about 50 on my Mac my iPhone and my iPad.
Basically I am desperate to get this to work I've been trying for hours, all I want is if I add a contact either in my iPhone, my iPad or in my Mac address book for it to be added to all other places, is this possible?
As of now I deleted all exchange accounts and turned MobileMe back on so everything would go back to normal..
How do I set all this up? Thank you for any help.

I'm not sure why the Address Book/Google sync isn't working, but I have had issues with the Address Book sync features in the past. If all else fails, you could instead set your iPad to sync with your Mac's Address Book when you hook it up to your computer physically. When connected, select the iPad in the Devices section of iTunes, and go to the Info tab and click Sync Address Book Contacts.

HT1600 I'm not a computer person so maybe the answer is just right infront of me and I'm too dumb to see it, but I can't for the life of me find iBooks on my Apple TV or figure out how to add it???

Audible won;t allow direct audiobook playback but if they are in your iTunes you can use Airplay to send them to an AppleTV (or via the iPAd app).

HT1296 Frustrated! I cannot for the life of me figure this out.

I did something and now all of my music is on my ITouch and only some of it is left in ITunes; the only music that seems to be left on my ITunes account is stuff I purchased. How can I get all of my music back onto my ITunes list?

How can I customize the "Find" tool (Command+F), so that I can search for partial words?

In other words, let's say I'm on a webpage and I want to search for each time the word "Apple" is used. So I hit Command+F and the Find banner appears.
If I type in "apple," it works just as it should. But if I type in "pple" or any other internal part of the word, it doesn't come up.
Is there any way to customize the find tool so that I can search for the internal bits of words to find it? Other browsers like Chrome and Firefox don't have this limitation.
