hi SAMnet,
The Ideacentre Horizon uses the following battery:
31502371 - BATTERY SANYO POLYMER 4S2P 98WH BATTERY
As the machine is fairly new, doing a google search doesn't seem to show any results on the above battery part number/specifications (it may also due to the fact that the battery is huge and is customized to fit only with the Ideacentre Horizon)

You may need to request this part from the official lenovo spare parts website -
www.lenovospareparts.com (click on Help link on the upper right hand corner and fill out the request form).

  • IPhone 5 battery replaced by Apple, now constantly rebooting

    Hello,
Yesterday, my wife and I both had our batteries replaced by Apple as part of the battery replacement program.  Mine is working fine, but my wife's is not.  When we got home, the battery was at 22% (understandable since it had just been replaced with a new one).  I plugged it to charge.  After about 4 hours, I checked it, and it was still at 22%!  I did a hard reset and the phone came back up at 100%, so I figured it was a glitch.  Well, this morning it was still at 100% after not being plugged in since yesterday, so I did another hard reset.  Now, the iPhone will reboot itself every 3-4 minutes.
I have tried restoring the phone as a new device.  (I can't restore a backup since it will reboot before completing).
Strange thing,...it doesn't seem to reboot unless I am using the iPhone, or it is plugged in trying to sync.  If I let it just sit on the table with the screen off, it won't reboot.
I have an appointment at an Apple store tomorrow, but I am afraid since it is out of warranty, they won't help me....even though it was working fine before they replaced the battery (other than the fact the battery died after about 8 hours).
    Any thoughts out there?
    Thanks,
    Jim

Check out my solution. This worked for me after having the battery replaced for my iPhone 5 at the Genius Bar. Not sure if it'll fix the 100% issue though. Tried resetting network settings like above. I'll have to see and wait. Just had my battery replaced yesterday.

  • Qosmio G30-204 battery replacement

Hi folks, the current battery i have lasts about 10minutes after fully charged.
So i'm thinking of replacing it.
The battery i currently have is a PA3475U-1BRS.
I can get hold of a replacement but the model on that is:
    PA3476U-1BRS
It's the same shape and everything, its used in most Toshiba models including the g30-196, g30-201, etc.
Will it work in mine? Is it worth going for?

    Hi buddy
I have a little bit searched on the Toshiba website and used Google and it seems that you can use the new replacement part.
I assume this battery is a newer model or from another manufacture so it has another part number but you can use it as well. :)

  • TS2634 MY IPOD WILL NOT CHARGE.  WHAT DOES BATTERY REPLACEMENT COST?

IPod will not charge.  How much does battery replacement cost?

Apple charges $79. A third-party place like the following is less expensive. Google for more places.

  • Is it okay to use a battery replacement that's 0.3V higher than the original battery?

My PA5024U-1BRS (10.8 V) Toshiba battery for my Satellite M840 got broken so I bought a new one from Toshiba but they gave me PA5025U-1BRS (11.1 V) which has a 0.3 V difference. When I ask Toshiba's technical staff if it's compatible with my laptop they said that's what their supplier from Singapore gave them so it's okay. But they honestly don't sound sure themselves. I can't risk losing my programs and files.
Though the battery pack came with an information sheet that both PA5024U-1BRS and PA5025U-1BRS both can be used in Satellite series (though it wasn't specified what models).
I'm just being careful so please help me. Is it safe to use a replacement battery for a laptop that's higher in voltage by 0.3 compared to the original battery?

It's safe. There's a fairly wide tolerance on that voltage. For instance, this page...
       PA5110U-1BRS
    ..has this note.
This battery has the same compatibly as the Primary Li Ion Battery Pack (Part#: PA5024U-1BRS, 48Wh) that was shipped with select laptops. It is the direct replacement for Toshiba Primary 6-Cell Li Ion Battery Pack (Part#: PA5025U-1BRS)

  • Where do i get an original battery replacement for iPhone4 in India?

just wanted to know where can i get a genuine apple oem battery replacement for iPhone4 in India???

Take the device to an authorized repair facitility or Apple store (if there are any in India) and pay them to replace the battery.  The device is not designed to be user servicable in any way.  Apple does not sell parts.

  • Battery Replacement (657503-001)

Good Day, Ran HP Battery Check and here is the result...   I checked the specs of my laptop online and it states the battery is a "6-Cell 86WHr lithium-ion HP extended life battery" But when I checked the Online Manual pg.39 on battery replacement. It states I need/have a; (9-cell, 91-Wh, 4.1-Ah, Li-ion) batterySpare Part #657503-001 (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03317166) Went to the HP parts website, I can't find a replacement battery for my model.  So here are my questions;1. What is my current battery? a 6-cell or 9-cell? 2. I'm assuming the 9-cell is a better replacement for a 6-cell, what about a 12-cell? Is there any available and will it fit no problem? (don't care about the weight) 3. Since HP parts seems to have discontinued the battery for my model or I can't find it, can you recommend any website selling a good battery for my model within the US or Canada?   Thank you for any reply and suggestions. HP Envy 17-3290nrA9P83UA#ABA

  • Can my Ipad 3 have a battery replacement outside the country?

My Ipad 3 has a battery weared. It turns off when the battery drops to 80%. I plan go to Apple Store to have a battery replacement. But i purchased my Ipad in US and now I am in France. Is it possible to have this kind of replacement?
P/S: My Ipad is out of warranty 1 month ago

The fact that you bought it in the U.S. should not make any difference at all. I'm not so sure that they can replace your battery in an Apple Store, typically you have to send the device to Apple in order to have the battery replaced. You are supposed to contact them via the link here.

Will the data on my iPad be preserved?
No, during the service process all data on your iPad will be erased. Before obtaining service, it is important to back up your data using iCloud or iTunes. Apple is not responsible for the loss of information while servicing your iPad and does not offer any data transfer service.
Following service your replacement iPad may have a newer operating system (iOS) version and you will need torestore your data using the method used to back it up (iCloud or iTunes). As a result, you may also need to update your App Store applications to ensure compatibility with the newer iOS. If you experience a problem with an application purchased from the App Store, check iTunes to see if an update is available or contact the application vendor directly.

  • 3rd gen battery replacement and life after

After 3 years, the battery on my 20GB 3rd Gen iPod is finally failing. I'm stuck between sending it in for battery replacement or just buying a new iPod.
For those of you who have sent in a 3rd gen for replacement--how was your experience with the replacement iPod? Did you get the same 3-4 years generally expected from the model, or did it deteriorate faster? Is it worth the $65 , or should I just suck it up and spend more on a brand new iPod?
20GB 3rd Gen iPod   Windows XP

By all means replace it! The 3G is a great device if what you want to do is play music!
Yes, if you do it yourself and fail to follow the instructions by popping the right side first, you can and will rip the ribbon cale to the headphones. But that's why one should follow instructions or have a pro do it
Should you send it in to Apple for the $65 job? That's up to you. There are 3rd party folks who will do it for less or will use a better battery. I replaced my own with a higher capacity battery, and have wonderful play time. One company I've dealt with is iPodResQ. I'm not making any money from this recommendation, just voicing my approval of the quality and price of their parts and services.
Look around, google 3G iPod battery replacement, read the instructions. If you feel uncomfortable with them, then get a pro to do it.
I've has several folks want to buy my 3G from me because of its distinctive appearance. Seems it's already "retro", and therefore cool. So why ditch it because of the battery? If that's the only reason you are thinking of replacing it, then don't. Benefits of the 3G include the fact that Dynamic playlists still work on them, unlike newer models that traded that function for the benefit of podcasting. That alone is enough for me to keep mine.
For the record, I own a 15GB 3G that is my go everywhere workhorse, and a 40GB 4G that goes with me on trips with most of my library. I like the 3G more.

  • MacBook Pro Model 1297 Battery Replacement

I have a mid-2009 unibody 17". Is the A1309 replacement compatible? Can't seem to find an original A1297 battery that looks legit. Amazon and eBay advertise the A1309 as a replacement, but the original1297's 13000 mAh rating differs from the 1309's 11200mAh. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I would not even consider getting a new battery put in your machine unless one you have a warranty and two you have all Apple parts in your computer and no third-party replacement parts. After my experience today I wouldn't even think about going to the Apple Store.
I am so discouraged. I went into the Apple store a few days ago, and told more than one rep that I know I needed a battery they did a test and they verified it. I told them I had a third-party battery in there now and I had replaced a lot of parts because I like my computer and I don't want to buy a new one. But nobody mentioned to me that if I ordered a battery in the store they would not put it in. In fact they knew I had a third-party battery and told me to order it and they they did order for me. I ordered the battery and I came in today to get it and they refused to put it in because I had a third-party battery in there and other third-party parts like a new hard drive. They don't even use their own hard drives anymore I read. And I said okay I'll buy the battery and I'll take it out of the store I'll never bring it back I have other people who can put it in and they refused absolutely refused even after I talked to the store supervisor.
I find this so disgustingly discouraging. It's my computer and if I want to take it out and replace my part that's my business. They're concerned about the fire hazard on the battery. You know I'm not concerned about it I saw online on YouTube how easy it is to replace that battery.Like everything else I run into these days it's all about money it's all about lawyers and it certainly isn't making life user-friendly. I may even have to buy a new printer because the new Apple system, Mavericks, does not have a driver for my Canon which is a few years old. It's all about obsolescence so we have to buy more products. That may be understandable but not everybody can do that and some of us like keeping our current computers and machinery going specially when there's nothing wrong with them and they are working.

  • Hard drive glitches after battery replacement... normal?

Hello, I have a 4Gen 20gig ipod with click wheel and I just replaced the battery myself last night.
I then plugged it into my computer to sync and it was recognized by windows, but not by iTunes, the hard drive would whir, then click and then try again, then stop. I figured it was just that the battery wasn't charged enough yet, so I let it charge overnight.
In the morning it synced fine. I was then playing it in the car, and some songs would appear, then the hard drive would whir, click a couple of times, then skip on to the next one. After a couple songs it started playing them normal. After skipping a few and the hard drive spun to load more music into the temporary memory, it would whir, click and then skip the song, then whir click and skip that one too... and it kept doing it. Then I reset it, and it kept showing the apple symbol, then the Exclamation and folder icon, then tried restarting again. After trying to reset itself 4 or 5 times, it finally succeeded.
I read a few threads on here, gave the ipod a gentle nudge on the right hand corner a few times, and now its playing and I haven't had any symptoms yet for about an hour.
Is this normal for a hard drive on an iPod to glitch after a battery replacement? I had no such problems when I had the other battery in it, so it's hard to believe that the hard drive is going bad exactly at the same time I changed batteries. It is the right battery for the right iPod, anyone else experience this or have any words of wisdom or comfort?

Pretty fast and non-stop, even when I'm not working. Could it be dirty? Is there a way to clean it?
Does the Apple store charge just to look at something?
Even if the noise was a dirty hard drive you can't clean the innards of one. You cannot even open one. Well you can, once.
