Horrible product , I have everything mac and this is my biggest disappointment. I have taken it in 3 times since march and again 1 week ago and now voice over even though turned off will not stop talking I can't even listen to music !!
i have reset everything and voice over still won't stop . Iv turned it off it has never been turned on .

product I own and I own over 7 different products Just me alone in my house there are numerous more .
i now for the fourth time since March have to bring the product back to apple and have it looked at . That's hours at times that I spend there due to lines , as a full time worker and student I do not appreciate the hassle of continuously having to fix this product . Lat time I went in I asked the service representative to provide another product and I would pay the difference in fees. She just wrote a note saying " if I come back again to to give a brand new product , less then one week later I'm returning with my product and hope to get what I was promised .
I Have never been so disappointed in an apple product and recommend no one ever buys it . Invest in a different product .
I have the same question what time did you chat ? Just because you were speaking with someone that is representing Verizon does not mean you were speaking to a "Customer Service" agent. Customer service is only open during specific hours. After those hours the only people online is the Online Sales Department. It is very possible you were chatting with the sales department.

The problem is that the POP3 client is not issuing a DELE command to remove the email from the server. -

So, I thought it was great that apple came out with a new update to fix the bugs of iOS7, however it seems that it created more problematic bugs...
My iTunes is updated to the latest version, as is my iPhone. No matter how many times I plug it in to the computer it absolutely will not sync new music onto my phone. It says it is syncing, but in reality nothing on my phone has changed. No new music, nothing.
I have turned my computer on/off as well as my phone.
Also, no matter what it will not pick a song when I am 'trying' to listen to music on my phone. It just swipes through them all super fast and never stops! Why?!
Today, I updated my iPhone to iOS 7.0.4 and it didn't fix the issues.
Is there a way to fix this, or do I just have to wait until Apple comes out with a new update to fix it??I have a very similar problem in Arizona, USA. Virgin Mobile is my carrier. Early in October, the phone seems to have lost it's 3G ability and is exceedingly hesitant to connect to any WiFi networks other than my home WiFi. I've spent countless hours on the phone with my service provider and they have escalated my problem to a higher tier tech group that is looking at the problem now. I've also called AppleCare to ask if I could revert to iOS 6 and was informed that Apple products, once and update has been added, are unable to revert or move backwards. AppleCare said they would like to just exchange my phone for a new one but I am 50 days outside the 1 year limited manufacturer warranty period. Virgin, of course, will not replace the phone for me despite this being a network problem. The responsibility of which should fall on their shoulders. My side of the contract is to pay and pay on time which I have always done. Their side is to provide the services promised at time of purchase and they have dropped the ball. Hope someone out there has an awesome suggestion that doesn't involve going into iTunes and tweaking it or jailbreaking the phone. Until then....namaste.

I do have a third party keyboard installed (fleksy), and I removed english and emoji from the keyboards list in settings before rebooting the ipod. When it booted up, it asked for my device password with the default keyboard, but I can't type any letters with accent marks, so I can't enter the password. I figured I could fix this by restoring a backup and changing my password, but I can't restore a backup without turning off Find My iPod - which of course requires me to unlock the device with the device password, which I can't do. Am I stuck here? Is there anything at all that I can do?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Having problems with my laptop. While online the wifi will turn itself off and will not turn back on. You can push the button all you like and nothing. Sometimes if I restart the laptop it will come back on--other times I have to do a complete shutdown--going so far as removing the battery after shutdown.

IPhone 5 submerged in water, but did not turn off/will not turn off. Best course of action?
My iPhone 5 was just in the sink under running water and mostly submerged for a few seconds. It stayed on with all buttons working, clear screen and clear camera lens. I have tried to turn it off, but every time I try it reboots. I removed the SIM - it was completely dry, but since I can't see the inside I'm assuming there's definitely moisture in there.
I currently have it in an airtight bag with silica gel, and I'm planning to leave it for a day or two, but it's still on. Should I keep trying to turn it off, or is it better for me to just leave it? I don't have the necessary equipment to remove the battery, unfortunately.Last attempt to turn phone off actually did turn the phone off. Not going to touch it for a day or two, and hoping for the best.

My iPod nano 6th gen voice over appears to be turned off everywhere I look, yet I still get the screen text read to me intermittently as new songs begin playing. My headphones do have a mic and I'm wondering if that is somehow triggering the voice over to go on. It's very annoying. Anyone else have this issue?
Hey, sid_licious: I, too, have suffered through the maddening torture of The VoiceOver. Especially maddening is its' apparent randomness in bringing itself to life. I've wondered if, for example, the movement of my headphone cable jack in the ipod itself could have caused the problem. I HATE, HATE, HATE the feature: it has no place in my life (or ears) so I looked around the apple website and found these instructions to uninstall VoiceOver completely. Not sure if this permenant solution is what you're looking for but, I'm going to give it a try later today. That said, I obviously don't know if it's going to work. Here it is:
How to uninstall VoiceOver Kit
By downloading VoiceOver Kit to your computer, your iPod will announce the names of your songs, artists, and playlists. If you no longer wish to use the VoiceOver feature on your iPod and want to remove the VoiceOver Kit from your computer, follow the steps below.
For Mac OS X:
Quit iTunes.
In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder.
Enter /Library/Application Support/iTunes and click Go.
Drag the "iPodVoiceOver.framework" folder to the Trash.
Open iTunes.
Sync your iPod to iTunes.
For Windows Vista and Windows 7:
Quit iTunes.
On the Start menu, click Control Panel.
Under Programs, click Uninstall a program. Alternately, in Classic View of Control Panel, click Programs and Features.
Select VoiceOver Kit and click Uninstall.

Emails will not stop coming into Inbox. Even when deleted duplicates reappear over and over.
I am trying to find out how to stop this. It happens with all of my mail accounts, not just one.
I have tried deleting the accounts and setting them up again, but I have the same problem.
All of my new mail will load, over and over, this never stops unless i 'take all accounts offline'. I have been unable to check my emails due to the volume of emails coming into my inbox.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!What kind of account? IMAP, POP, Gmail?

I was trying to upload 3 jpgs to the submissions page of a visual arts website. I could only highlight one jpg at a time in the "Choose File" option, and then the "Upload File" button of the submissions page would not respond.
It's an ongoing problem with this site (I'm the only one with this issue and there are a lot of submissions). I have to send the images as email attachements to the administrator of the site. When doing this via webmail, I still the one attachment at a time problem, but the images get to the administrator. Thanks for helping. -
