Host does not populate the information

Hi,
I have installed 11g Agent newly. Agent works fine.
Accessing the Host page, most of the information is shown as unavailable.
How to get this data listed in the console?

Please perform the following:
+ Run "Refresh Host Configuration" for this Host
Deployment ---> refresh host configuration ---> select the problematic host and click on "Refresh Hosts".
+ Then execute following command "./emctl upload agent"
+ Login to Grid Control again and verify the status.

While I removed the sort and it worked, I still needed the report sorted by last name. So I created a view of the table sorted by last name and used the view instead of the table in the report (i.e., load collection) and it worked.

My web host does not support the latest Firefox upgrade yet. How do I rollback the upgrade until they do?

Certain functions of their web hosting features will not work with the recent upgrade. I am using Bulk Register website creator. I have been advised by their support that they are not supporting the firefox upgrade yet

You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices)

When I copy an excel spreadsheet to an email - the receiver does not receive the copy of the spreadsheet???

With IE, this is not a problem. With Firefox, when I copy part of a spreadsheet and paste it to an email, when the email is sent, the person receiving the email does not get the information from the spreadsheet - it disappears??

If I'm right about that, I'm still not really clear at all about what you're doing. Where are you importing these songs and albums from? Is it existing songs files and if so, what format are they in?

Firefox does not remembe the login name for the user login name on secure sites.

My user got a new computer and I installed the latest version of firefox. It no longer remembers user names on secure sites and the employee does not like the fact that she has to type in her user name every time she needs to log into the site. The browser is set to automatically save user names and passwords.

Please first update your plugins, Flash has a new version.
Does this happen in Safe Mode?

It is also possible to check the saved passwords to make sure that the information is saved. On an https site that does not autofill the information for logging in , the username is blank. I removed the entry by right cicking on the page, selecting "Page Info" and under "Security" viewing the saved passwords.

Hotsync Log does not show any information since August 2008. My Treo 755p has been syncing fine but nothing shows in the log!

I just noticed that when I am done syncing, the Hotsync Log does not have any information about the most recent operation. In fact the date of the last entry in the Log is August! Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix this?

Two more clues:
1) I was searching the Palm Knowledgebase and found out where the HotSync Log file is. When I open the file, using Explorer, this message pops up: 'To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this web page from running scripts or ActiveX Controls that could access your computer. Click here to...' If I allow it to run, the screen blinks but nothing seems to change. If I close the Log file and reopen it, it happens again. How can I stop this from happening to the file? Could this be the problem?
2) The Knowledgebase Article below tells how to create a new 'fake' log file to 'fool' the HotSync Manager. So I renamed the original log file, then created the new file as instructed. Then I did a HotSync. After the HotSync completed successfully, I opened the HotSync Manager and there is my new 'fake' log file that has only the words I typed into it when I created the file. Nothing in the Log about the operation at all!

The HotSync Manager is very particular: if it doesn't find things exactly as it expects, it won't work. One of the things it has to find in the right place is the HotSync log, a file where the HotSync manager records everything it does. Look on one of your bank statements and be sure to enter the billing address exactly as it shows on the statement. Some folks forget where they actually get the statement. They put their home address in iTunes/Mac App Store and they actually get the statement at their place of employment or vice versa.

Oam does not show the correct configuration information

Oracle apps,
An issue with the oam.
There are 2 nodes in our system. In 12
One is for db and cm
The other is for forms and apache.
The system is running fine.
But from the OAM, where it does not show the correct configuration info.
From the OAM, all the services are (including db, cm, forms, apache) on one node.
The issue might be caused by the fact that the web tier was cloned from the cm tier as a workaround for some patch errors in web tier.
I even used the EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN; to clean the system tables and ran
Autocfg on all tiers. But it didn’t solve this issue.
How can I fix this OAM problem to make it show the correct information?

The hostname information is correct.
On oam, this web node is there but all the service actually running on this node is
showing under the cm node .

The Bonjour name does not match the host name

I changed the host name of a Mac Mini Server (OS X 10.8.5, Server 2.2.2) but then I got the email "The Bonjour name xxx-server does not match the host name yyy-server.local).
How do I fix it? (Appreciate for detailed steps.)

The Bonjour name is separate from the DNS host name, and you're hopefully not serving the .local domain from your own DNS server within OS X Server. That can cause problems.
The Bonjour name is assigned by  > System Preferences > Sharing.
If you want to see the three names assigned, launch Terminal.app from Applications > Utilities and enter the following three commands (some example output shown for each command) (do not enter the $ signs shown in the following; that's the command prompt):
$ scutil --get ComputerName
myhost
$ scutil --get HostName
myhost.example.com
$ scutil --get LocalHostName
myhost
$
Post the output from the three, and we'll have a look. If you want or need to obfuscate, please do so consistently. Example.com (as shown above) is a good choice for an obfuscated domain, too.

Hp 15-r033tx laptop does not show the Nvidia chipset information and only uses Intel HD graphics

My Hp 15 r033tx laptop has windows 8 64 bit installed in it and as it comes with NVidia Ge Force 820 M 2GB graphics card , I have also installed Nvidia and Intel HD Graphic Drivers but in the dxdiag selection it does not list the Nvidia Chipset and information but only lists Intel HD Graphics with 1786 MB.
Also it does not show any Dedicated Video Ram that is normally showing in my other friends desktop with Nvidia Graphics properly installed
Any solutions?

I see that you have Windows 8 installed and are not seeing your switchable graphics.
When I checked the specification page I see it came with Free Dos. When I checked for support drivers they are listed for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.

Updateing CustomXML scheema from sharepoint 2010 in VBA does not update the DIP (Document information panel)

I need to update a schema from Sharepoint with namespace
http://schenas.microsoft.com/office/2006/metada/contentType when i am opening a Word document. I am using VBA to do so. When i have made the Changes it does not update the DIP, not until i save the document.
Is there a way to update the dip using VBA.

Ok. been working on this for the better part of a day. I am having trouble with the .net web controls. trying to create a simple portlet that populates a text box with values from a 2nd text box when a button is selected. both text boxes are in the same portlet.
without using the <httpModules> entry in the web.config file the portlet works fine, but it does pop you out of the portal.

There doesn't seem to be any information in one spot as to setting up the environment to use the .Net Web Controls. I have had to piece together information from multipule threads to get this far. I.E. there was nothing in any documentation that I have read that required the installation of the VJ# lib's. (that error took me the first half of the day to resolve :-) )

When installing the Web Control's do you need to stop any services? I didn't see anything in the install notes about doing this?

I have setup the Connection broker in HA with Server2 as Passive Server : DNS Round Robin poccb.mydomain.local (Server1)
The certificate Manager has generated 2 CA certificates :
- 1 for the RD Web Acc (poc.mydomain.local
-1 for Connection Broker SSO and for publishing
I have created 1 Group Policy for these 3 servers and 1 GP for my client Windows 7 SP1.

Always prompt for password upon connection=Disabled
Require use of specific security layer for remote (RDP) connections : SSL (TLS 1.0)

If in my client GPO I add the physical name of the 3 servers, it works :

Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
Firstly check that, your user is using domain\username to enter the credential in the dialog box.
Now for a try, you can edit .rdp file with notepad and just place “enablecredsspsupport:i:0” line in it, save it an launch to check whether you are facing same issue.
As you are using windows 7 then upgrade to RDP 8.1. Also as you have already enter the FQDN name of server under “Allow delegating default credentials”. For a try please enable and configure for all the remaining settings as follow and check the result.
Start / Run / gpedit.msc / Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / System / Credentials Delegation, and make sure you have the following four options enabled and configured:
Allow Delegating Default Credentials with NTLM-only Server Authentication
Allow Delegating Default Credentials
Allow Delegating Saved Credentials
Allow Delegating Saved Credentials with NTLM-only Server Authentication
Finally, open a command prompt and use “gpupdate /force” command to apply the policy directly.

I have the deployment issue when i user Office 2007 installed on my server and try to access the application i get Reference in the manifest does not match the identity of the downloaded assembly Office.dll , but when office 2003 is installed there is no issue deplying.

Thanks for the reply Robin, here is some of the observation, hope you can provide some solution from your end.
1. When Publish my build, in the Manifest file dependentAssembly has two reference to Office.dll one with version 11.0.0.0 and another with version 7.0.3300.0.
2. In the pages_1_0_0_4 Published folder has one office.dll with version 11.0.5530.0
3. In the root folder of the virtual directory has one office.dll with version 7.0.9466.0
Can you please give your thoughts, what exactly wrong with the deployment, i feel its a assembly mismatch. where in the application files i have set the required assembly. please provide your useful solution.
