Host name on SSL certificate did not match the alias name in the URL addres

To the XI gurus,
One of our vendors had problem to send us xml invoices because the url address had our server alias name and the SSL certificate we asked them to install had the server name.
To resolve this issue, can we install two certificates (one has the alias name and one has the server name) at our XI server or we can only have one SSL certificate installed at any time?
Thanks!

Fisher Li,

To my knowledge we can install  only one certificate.

    Dear Customer,
Thank you for reaching the Small Business Support Community.
The RADIUS configuration settings are intended to authenticate the wireless clients attempting to connect through a SSID and if this is the problem you have, I first suggest you to check on the RADIUS server IP address (Security>RADIUS Server), make sure it is reachable, and the authentication port number used by this server to send traffic and the shared key used to authenticate to the server which must match on both sides.  If all that is good, try using WAP Enterprise as the wireless security method and not WAP2 Enterprise.
    If the problem persits I then first suggest to to make sure you run the latest firmware release version 1.0.5.6;
    http://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=282981372&flowid=796&softwareid=282487380&release=1.0.5.6&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest
    Then contact support if the problem persists; (the "dial-in medium" part error I just don't understand what it has to do with the RADIUS wireless client authentication);

Please do not hesitate to reach me back if there is any further assistance I may assist you with in the meantime.

  • HTTPS - certificate does not match the name of the site

    Hi all.
We created an http destination to an external server in sm59. We are going to use SSL, certificate has been imported in strust.
Our https settings are correct (we already use https in antother scenario), but there seams to be something wrong with the certificate of the http destination.
When I use the windows-console on our XI server and try to open the URL of the http destination with Internet Explorer, Windows tells me that "The name on the security certificate ... does not match the name of the site".
Is there a way to tell the server to ignore this security warning or is it necessary to create a new (correct) certificate?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Philipp

    Philipp,
Don't know much about this topic, but my guess would be that will have to create a new certificate with the appropriate credentials.

  • MSExchangeTransport 12014 3rd Party SSL Certificate does not match internal domain name.

I have a co-existance of Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2010 and after installing a new 3rd party cert I'm getting The following error.   All mail is flowing and OWA is working.
Microsoft Exchange could not find a certificate that contains the domain name Exchange.domain.local in the personal store on the local computer. Therefore, it is unable to support the STARTTLS SMTP verb for the connector Default EXCHANGE with a FQDN parameter
of Exchange.domain.local. If the connector's FQDN is not specified, the computer's FQDN is used. Verify the connector configuration and the installed certificates to make sure that there is a certificate with a domain name for that FQDN. If this certificate
exists, run Enable-ExchangeCertificate -Services SMTP to make sure that the Microsoft Exchange Transport service has access to the certificate key.
Our GoDaddy UC SAN cert is not allowed to have .local SAN names, so I have no way of adding it to the cert.   Is it possible for me to install a local CA and generate a self signed cert for the personal store or would it be better to disable
    TLS for the receive connector?

Change the name on the Receive Connector (2010) or on the SMTP Virtual Server (2003) to match the name in the new certificate. One of them is sending the "exchange.domain.local" in the 220 banner when it accepts a connection.

  • Online did not match the Cache for employee

I had an employee whom uses cache on his laptop in the office and cleaned out a lot of trash over the past few weeks. Today he came to me and said his mailbox was full but really did not have much in his cache box. So I changed him to online and found that all of the trash was still there.
Is there a setting or maintenance mode I need to make sure is set to keep this from happening again?
    Just wondering,
    Ken

    Hi,
He will need to do a send/receive on the cached GroupWise client to sync everything up with the online version.
If you work off a cached GroupWise client disconnected from the network and delete items, then it won't actually delete items from your online mailbox until you do a send/receive. That's the beauty of a cached mailbox - you can work off the network then simply do a sync when when you have a connection.
The reason is that the trash works a bit funny is that after the initial "prime" it keeps things in sync by shuffling items around and downloading/uploading just the missing emails (efficient use of bandwidth) from the different versions.
When you use a cached mailbox you effectivly run a small PO on the client machine that needs to be synced and it does this by not resyncing the entire mailbox (which could be huge) but rather shuffling items around to sync the cached version with the live PO.
Often this can mean strange thing appearing in the trash but it's worth once you undestand how it works!
It's even more fun if you use two laptops with a cached mailbox on both!
It's possible to have emails deleted from laptop1 then synced with the online mailbox only to find that when you use laptop2 after a week and sync it you find all the emails you deleted from laptop1 (and were removed from online when synced) showing in the trash can for the laptop2 cached mailbox. They were still on laptop2 (downloaded from a previous sync) and it's matched them up by moving them to the trash (most efficient method). You can then just empty the trash from the cached version on laptop2 and things are back in sync.
    Hope this helps.

  • MIC in receipt did not match the original message's MIC

    Hi
Does anybody has any idea about the error mentioned in the subject line.
We have configured Oracle B2B 10.1.2 for XML messages exchange with TP.
Our trading partner reports saying his AS2 machine shows the above error eventhough host B2B(Oracle) does not show any error.
He explained the cause for the error as-
They are sending messages to oracle B2B, each message carries MIC (Message Integrity Check) with it.
Oracle B2B inturn process this inbound and send MDN back to TP.
As part of MDN, it sends MIC it has received in original inbound from TP.
Now what they complain is the MIC we sent as part of MDN is not the one they have sent to Oracle.
any guesses what might be wrong ?
We use following security setup for host and TP
Digital Envelope SMIME 3.0 with 3DES
Digital Signature SMIME 3.0 with SHA - RSA
One way to confirm this issue is
just check what MIC is there in original inbound from TP
In B2B reports we can not see that, in which B2B table we can find this information ?
    Thanks
    Praveen

    Hi Praveen.
First of all there isn`t original MIC from TP in inbound message. Only TP knows original MIC and compares it to MIC received in MDN to be sure that message was not corrupted during transmission.
As I know, preferred algorithm for calculating MIC is SHA, but MD5 is also supported.
According to your setup settings, your B2B calculates it using SHA algorithm.
Maybe you TP`s software uses different algorithm (MD5)?
If so, there`s no wonder why the resulting "hash" string doesn`t equal to TP`s value.
We also use B2B to communicate with TP using AS2 protocol. And we did have simular problem. We just changed hash algorithm.
    Best regards,
    Alex

  • When i try to install story desktop i get this message: The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem.  The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid.  Please

    can anyone help

    Please follow these steps:
    - Remove the currently installed Adobe Story app from your system
      - If you are using windows, you can do it through control panel
      - If you are using Mac, open the Applications folder and move 'Adobe Story' application to Trash. (Please remove it from trash too)
( Please make sure that no other installation of Adobe Story is present in your system by searching 'Adobe Story' in Spotlight. Remove if present. )
    - Then install the latest version by downloading the installer file directly from: http://story.adobe.com/AIR/AdobeStory.air

  • The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem.  The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid.  Please contact the application author.

Has anybody seen this in Mac OS 10.10?

Ok, just Acrobat XI Pro? Nothing else? (I've seen talk of this message, but for different Adobe products).
And was Acrobat XI Pro ever installed before?

  • Sound and picture did not match?

After recording the presentation it was OK and I could show it. But the fourth time I would show the presentation the sound and animation did not match the pictures? t.i. Keynote did not move to next picture (e.g. I was in picture No. 3 and it shoud move to next picture 4 but it doesn't -  and the voice to the next picture No. 4 started continued in picture 3)
Why does this happened? Is Keynote not reliable?

If sound files and images are placed on the slide and timed using Inspector  > Builds they will maintain the timing.
I have suggested to do that instead of using the recording feature built in to Keynote which has proven to be unreliable with large numbers of slides and  longer voice overs.
Switching to using builds will eliminate these errors.

i DONT HAVE THE DISK FOR aDOBE 6.0 ANYMORE HOW DO i UPGRADE??

You cannot in any case buy an upgrade from Acrobat 6, it is too old. So it's a full price purchase I'm afraid.

  • App store requests old apple ID, but password did not match.

I changed my apple ID a while ago, and just got an ipod touch to "replace" my lost iphone. Using the phone's backup to restore my apps, most of these apps requested for my old apple ID which is fine, considering I had not made any changes to my password before. However, the password/ID was wrong.
I tried using the iForgot and password reset, both of which could not work. Using the question and answer method, it was said that my birthdate did not match the one of my old apple ID, although I did use my real birthdate. The email method was worse, I did not receive any email to any of my email accounts.
Any suggestions on this? Hopefully I don't have to call up for customer service :/
    Thanks.

    Hi Lloyd,
The only option you have is to get either a Rescue email or get contacted by iTunes Support. You are going to have to reset the passcode on your old AppleID. While you're at it, I would recommend that you make it the same as your password on your new AppleID - makes it pretty seamless....
P.S. - I know that you did nothing to cause this undoubtedly - it seems to happen for some weird reason....but, you're in it now, so have to go through the steps anyway....sorry
Anyway, sorry, I know you have done all of this before, but once more:
If you set up a Rescue email address:
Go into Manage Your AppleID, https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/, select Password and Security, and click the first option (see below), and you will be able to proceed from there..... (I HOPE the first button is showing for you!)
    Reset your password
You can change or reset the password for your Apple ID account by providing some information.
    Select your authentication method.
Email authentication: To access your information, we will send an email to the rescue email address on file for you.
Answer security questions: To access your information, you will need to answer the security question(s) provided when you originally created your Apple ID.
If you did not set up a Rescue email address:
    1. Go to Express Lane  and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'Apple ID Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security
       questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox)
    2. Once your questions have been reset, and you set up new ones, also set up a RESCUE EMAIL ADDRESS, so if you forget them again, you won't have to go through all of this.....
    Hope this helps!
    Cheers,

  • RPF Camera does not match the scene from 3DS Max or Maya in AE

Hi, since I've been trying to integrate 3D with Motion Graphics, I've had trouble. First I read in VideoCopilot's website that I can import 3D cameras into AE, but when I first tried in AE CS6, right clicking on the RPF sequence layer (with the ZDepth info included), the camera was never imported, and never created a new camera layer.
Then I tried in CS5.5 and from 3DS Max 2013 the camera was succesfully created but it's movement did not match the imported scene, because when creating and positioning some 3D layers, they did not stick correctly to the scene, and they never looked integrated. So it's a pain trying to make them match.
So I also installed Maya 2008 and followed this tutorial (https://vimeo.com/32726702) with a locator for the scene, then saved it as a Maya ASCII, and again when trying to match the camera inside AE with the scene's camera, the movemet of the camera imported was again strange and the 3D layers did not stick correctly to the imported scene. Of course I know I have to position the 3D layers, and I get them to be in the camera sight.
I need some real help because I've tried many times and asked a friend who knows of Maya and 3DS Max, but he could not help me neither inside AE. Again, the importing of the RPF in CS5.5 works fine, but the movement of the camera just doesn't seem to be right what I need.
    Thanks for any help.

Cameras in RPF files must be embedded accordingly. Just because it has depth data doesn't mean there's camera data as well. I'm sure there is some simple check box somewhere. The rest sounds like mundane scale and coordinate issues because you do not set up your 3D scenes properly, but that's impossible to tell for certain...
