Hosting doesn't work
hosting doesn't work across our projects in some of the links:
ex. http://www.backstageny.com/coupons.html
Tks, it's funny, after re-upload one page start working but another stop - wierd.
I did check the status, but they didn't fix all sites I guess.

Upload to FTP host doesn't work
Hi all,
I have made a website and uploaded it to FTP host via Muse and all worked fine.
But I can't seem to find a way to do this with my second website. I insert the right information, and via FileZilla for instance, I can login with this information.
So the FTP Host, username and password are correct, but Muse tells me the username and/or password in incorrect.
How can this be?I suspect your uploading to a different server and it's not correctly configured to support Extended Passive Mode FTP (EPSV).
Please download the file http://muse.adobe.com/assets/ftp2014fix.zip, unzip it, and save the contained file ftpPrefs.xml to the following location:
On Windows: %appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Muse CC\2014.1 (You can type this in the Path bar at the top of the Windows Explorer window.)
On Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Adobe Muse CC/2014.1 (You can type this in the Go To Folder dialog using Shift+Command+G. The leading tilde "~" is required.)
Muse uses FTP Extended Passive Mode (EPSV). It's the preferred FTP mode for optimal performance, but we're finding some hosting providers have FTP servers configured such that EPSV is not supported or EPSV only works if you're inside the same firewall as the FTP server. The ftpPrefs.xml file above, turns off EPSV mode. So if that is the problem in this case, putting that file in place should enable you to successfully login and upload without errors. -
Virtual host doesn't work in NW CE 7.1 EHP 1 SP07
Hi all,
I've created a virtual host in nwa using "Java HTTP Provider Configuration: Virtual Hosts"
(f.e. virtual host named "we2")
But I can't access to this using http://we2:50000. I don't know why.
DNS is up to date.
many thanks
Sven

Equium L40 PSL41E: WLan connection doesn't work - host process has terminated
Recently I got a blue screen crash on this laptop after getting a message telling me a host process had terminated.
The computer is on Vista so I expected problems when my parents bought my sister that laptop.
Anyway despite the frequent blue screen, stop messages etc. When I get the message telling me the host process has terminated my wireless connection becomes messed up.
Last time I used the windows: Diagnose why Windows can't find any network option, and was promptly informed that my wireless was turned off (despite the fact that it was actually switched on) and that the computer would automatically turn it back on.
After that it worked fine for a few days until I got another host process termination and the computer crashed once more.
This time the computer refuses to connect despite using the method above and the ConfigFree(Connectivity Doctor), repairing the connection etc.
Possible Solutions I'm given are:
Check communication device for bridged settings as you may need to disable the bridge or reconfigure. a-15.
Thats definitly not the problem.
a-9 Move closer to the wireless router.
Again not the problem i'm sitting right next to it.
a-10 Turn of any bluetooth devices or other devices that may interfere.
There are no such devices near by.
a-11 Check to verify a microwave oven is not in use nearby.
It's not in use.
a-13 Check that the maximum number of devices connected to the access point is not exceeded.
Well it worked for 6 months before this so i'm sure thats not the case.
a-37 Make sure the mac address filtering of the access point is configured properly.
I don't have a clue what this means. But my girlfriends laptop works just fine with the wireless connection.
a-19 Restart the router/access point
Done that multiple times.
Well, Well any suggestions. Fire away i'm all ears.Hi
I dont know why an host process stopped working but from my knowledge the process could be svchost.exe.
However the issue seems to be related to the Vista OS problem
I see you have tried to fix this but without to be successful Well you get also an BSOD so I think its an serious software issue and you should firstly use the Toshiba recovery CD to reinstall the OS on this notebook.
After the new installation (would take about 15min) update the OS to the latest state.
Then you could try to configure the WLan again
It worth a try ;) -
I guess in October of 2013, Dropbox changed their program so you don't need a public folder to place your files in. I followed the instructions on numerous youtube and google result sites on how to do this. I thought I followed all the instructions but it still doesn't work. I downloaded Dropbox and configured it as instructed. I created a domain at .tk and when I put the URL in my browser, I see that .tk does go to my dropbox index html but it is a blank screen. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I would ask this to dropbox it could be they have blocked the option to avoid being used as free web hotels

[SOLVED] network randomly doesn't work after reboot (e100)
Hi
Lately I have some weird issues with network. I shutdown computer during night, so basicly I reboot it at least once per day and every now and then without any pattern network doesn't work at all and so far only solution I have found is to reboot (again).
Before anything else I'm sure it's not hardware problem, since other OS on same computer don't have any issues, neither is router since other devices in network from laptops to mobile phones work flawless.
Relevant info and what I have found so far (not everything is copy/pasted so there may be some typos):
$less rc.conf (network part)
eth1="eth1 192.168.1.242 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.1.255

So basicly network is dead, can't even ping router, cable connection is detected tho (lights are on). I have tried to restart newtork with /etc/rc.d/network stop/start, nothing. Only clue is dmesg.
$dmesg

modrope -r e100 and then reloading it doesn't help either, but reboot does (once I had to reboot twice tho).
Anyone with more clue and ideas then me, it's getting really annoying, it also kill whole KDE plasma-desktop for couple of minutes before plasmoids find out network is really down and I'm not really fan of morning "gamble". I can't pinpoint some hard date/update when this started to happening because like I said it's random but last couple of months should be quite accurate. Thanks in advance.
EDIT: dmesg when network works:

Last edited by NoOrdinary (2009-09-05 09:47:20)I don't have anything special set at router but I doubt rc.conf play any role. I will try to set it up with dhcp (but I think I have tried that already) if there is any change.
This morning I had to reboot twice, so new kernel didn't help. Fowler, what network card are you using, also e100 (well or some intel)? I dunno, should this be handed to the kernel team? If it will piss me enough one morning I'll just go and buy a new network card, just wanna be sure that will really solve the problem.
UPDATE: OK, this is just silly. I remebered I have acctualy onboard LAN so I edited rc.conf and dived into the dust under my desk to move cable and there I found out it was acctual onboard in use all the time Now this dosen't make much sense to me anymore, when I can't get net up all the stuff in dmesg is e100 related. Anyway, I connected network to e100 and rebooted, suprise, same story. Dmesg reported again link was not ready. I edited rc.conf to
INTERFACES=(eth0 !eth1)
in case this has anything to do with proper timing at assigning whatever needs to be assigned to network cards at boot so I'm sure just 1 card with all info provided get's kicked in at boot. First reboot after that works, it dosen't prove anything yet but at leat it's some kind of progress in recognising proper cause.
UPDATE 2: Nah, still happens. Googling for "no link during initialization" show a lot of familiar problems, almost all on nforce motherboards and mine is nforce too. I just don't get it why this mess seperate PCI network card. In any case it's extremely annoying.

Delete messages from server when deleted from iTouch doesn't work
Hi everybody,
Two questions really...
One is that with my 2nd gen iTouch I was able to set IMAP settings and it would show all of the folders (other than Inbox) that I have created on my mail account. The 4th gen iTouch doesn't seem to let me see the sub-folders.
The second is that I have my account set to delete messages from the server when they are deleted from my Inbox, but that simply doesn't work.
This is withe the iTouch 4 and OS 4.1 (8B117)
Any suggestions?
ThanksIs it possible that I have the wrong Server Port entered? I didn't fill in that field at all. I think it was filled in automatically. I guess I would have to contact my hosting company's support team to know what the server port is.

L2TP on Cisco ASA 5505, just doesn't work??!
This is pretty urgent, client expects me to have this up by lunch today
So, there is this Cisco ASA 5505 ver 8.4.
Most things work but now I want to setup a vpn connection...
I have done this 2 ways, first by using the "VPN Wizard" in ASDM and then 5 hours later removing everything and configuring from cli.
And it just doesn't work, client (WinXP & Win7) gets "error 792" and sometimes "error 789" (both indicating problem with phase 1, I'm pretty sure of that)
Googling on those gives a few suggestions none works.
All I get in the log on Cisco is the "Error processing payload: Payload ID: 1"
Googling on that only comes up with a few pages telling me this message is caused by an error. (Yeah, I could never have guessed...)
For the cli config, I followed this tutorial carefully (3 times actually...)
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/secu...html#wp1117464
I'm using PSK for IPSec, entered same on Cisco and client - checked several times, this is not a password/PSK issue.
Ports opened on Cisco: 500, 1701, 4500
(For a try I opened all ports, no change.)
And here's the "show run":

Very Very long ping time, only on arch, and preload doesn't work
Arch is the most amazing Linux system I have ever used. I get like a 30 second boot time from start to finish, i'm just wowed.
I am using arch64, and have only 2 problems!
1. I have like a 32ms ping, for any site, toooo big. I have a 3com NIC card which Is currently being used as eth1, and an nvidia network controller on my board eth0. The nvidia controller doesn't work right, so i am using the 3com, with a huge ping time
2. preload isn't working. I have 3gb of RAM, and AMAZINGLY only 400mb of RAM is being used, with 9 tabs in firefox open, compiz-fusion, gnome desktop. DAMN! I want more RAM being used, what is wrong with this?? (the problem is that things start up a little slow, so it must mean it is not staying in the RAM)
Please tell me what I can do to fix these problems!
EDIT: Could it have something to do with the groups I am in, or the preload.conf settings, or the rc.conf file?

PING fk-in-f147.google.com (209.85.129.147) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from fk-in-f147.google.com (209.85.129.147): icmp_seq=1 ttl=242 time=146 ms
Pinging from norway to... wherever that node is.
and compare that to a norwegian host
PING www.sau.no (194.63.248.23) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from web.domeneshop.no (194.63.248.23): icmp_seq=1 ttl=47 time=86.6 ms
all in all, you should not be so annoyed unless your used to sub 10 ms ofc.. but this is still very quick for a webhost, atleast i think so. -
Please help: Application doesn't work after upgrade to Workshop 8 sp2 from sp1
Hi,
Our application worked on workshop 8 sp1. After we upgrade system from sp1 to
sp2, some of the part doesn't work propertly any more.
1. netui:select seems not bind form data propertly. For drop down list box in
forms, although user has chosen something from the drop down list box, the returned
value in the form is always null.
2. we use Java script window.open(url,...) to download and view files. After upgrade
from sp1 to sp2, clients keep getting IE error complaining that "Internet Explore
can not open this Internet site. The request site is either unavailable or can
not be found. Please try again later", although the server and the files are all
in local host server.
Please help. ThanksDid you update your workshop application files and recompile your application?
A few things changed between GA and sp2, some annotations were renamed, and some
were added.
If you open up your application in Workshop sp2, it should given you the option
to upgrade your application.
Failing that, you may need to go through the code that is not performing as it
was before and check whether it was not utilising a bug that was fixed in sp2
and thus causes it to not function correctly now.

RD Web access SSO - remote desktop doesn't work
Hi,
This is my first post in here, and I hope you gays can help me out.
I am currently experiencing some issues with RD Web SSO not working as I would like it to work. I have found countless articles and guides describing how to get it to work, but no guide have yet helped me.
The problem is that when I log in on the web access and open a published application everything works fine I wait 5 sec and the application pups up, but when I try to open "Remote Desktop" then I get a new log in box where I must enter my log in credentials
again (after entering my credentials everything work great.)
The problems I am currently facing is produced in a demo environment configured as follows:
1x DC server (DC01) also the lic server
2x RDS server (RDS01/02)
1x RDS Connection broker (RDCM01) I have created a farm named "farm01.mydomain.com"
1x RDS Web access server (RDWA01)
1x RDS Gateway (RDSGW01)
(All the Servers are installed with Windows server 2008 (R2) SP1, and have the latest update.)
I am publishing my demo environment on the internet, i have created a domain name for my gateway and my web access and they are both accessible from the web (rdwa.mydomain.com and rdsgw.mydomaim,com). I also have secured everything with an SSL wildcard certificate
( my external and intern domain names are the same so I am using one SSl certificate) that is trusted on the web.
when I log in on the web access server trough (IE9 or IE8 ) from another network(wan) and I open a published application (calculator), it pop ups in just a few seconds. But when I try to open my Remote desktop I get a login box where I must enter my
username and password one more time.. after that remote desktop opens and everything works great.
My laptop is a Windows 7 professional with RDP 7 and IE 9, and is not member of a domain (just a workstation), I have tested it from multiple workstations and networks(Also win 7 and RDP7) but even there I have the same problem.
Thinks that I have tried tell now:
I have created a kerberos account as mentioned on
MSDN
I have checked my group permissions as mentioned
here
And many more blogs and forums
I have tried multiple settings on RDCM, RDWA, RDSGW and RDS server
Right now I am out of ideas, and I hope you gays can help me out..
thanks in advance,
PouyanThnx for you advise,
Did you go into your RemoteApp Deployment settings and change the server name to the farm name "farm01.mydomain.com?"
Yes
Also in the Session Broker's RemoteApp and Desktop Connection Properties window change the Connection ID to the farm name as well.
actually I couldn't find out what to put on the connection ID so I had left it just default, but after changing it to the farm name it still doesn't work
Did you sign you apps with the cert used on your RDS servers?
yes, I am using a wildcard ssl certificate to sign all the servers/apps with.
there is
something that
strikes me, when I log on the web access and click on a published application (that is hosted from the same RDS servers) then I get a information box. when I click on the "details" button I see on the bottom "use the following credentials to connect" and my
domain and username are published there. But when I click on the "Remote desktop" icon and do the same I can't see this information!!
Also I don't think that its an SSL problem, because after log in again it works perfect without any warning. -
[Solved] Lexmark Pro901 doesn't work
EDIT: I forgot to install ghostscript, that solved it
Hello everyone,
I installed the lexmark-inkjet-legacy package from the AUR (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lexm … et-legacy/) and I configured my printer using the lx-postinstall script, which is shipped with the package but I'm not able to print a test page. It turns on the printer and the printer pulls a page but cups just says "Processing - Connected to printer".
Here my cups error log:

Hi, i've just installed Arch with LXDE on my netbook, but despite all my efforts, automount still doesn't work. What i've done so far:
-installed pmount (didn't configure anything, because this isn't mentioned anywhere)
-added myself to the hal group
-put hal in the daemons (it boots in the background, but this shouldn't affect automounting).
Anything i forgot?
There were some reports to fix automounting you needed to change the PolicyKit file. Have you done that yet?

Sending in Mail doesn't work, Entourage does, Why?
Sending emails in Apple's Mail doesn't work, yet Microsoft Entourage does, Why?
This is the conversation I've been having with my server tech, and they can't find the reason why I can send mail in Microsoft Entourage no problem, yet Apple Mail receives but not able to send any email what so ever..
Very frustrating.

I'm having a heck of a time trying to SEND emails on the SilverSpiritHomeServices.com system.
I'm using a Mac.
I can do it in Microsoft Entourage, yet I can't do it in Mac Mail (this is the program I need to be able to use).
Receiving email it works fine, just sending it only works in Entourage.

Hello,
That definitely seems odd. Since it works fine with Entourage, that would indicate the server is working properly. Additionally, I've tested the SMTP server from here (on a Mac) and am able to connect. I do not have a valid user to send email with, but I can try it if you want to provide me with the one you are trying, temporarily.
As always, if you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. Have a great day, and thanks for choosing Rackspace Managed Hosting!

Here is the "cheat sheet" from APPLE.COM:
"Outgoing mail server settings

The outgoing mail server supports Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): Yes [ ] No [ ]
Outgoing server authentication type:

Outgoing server requires a username and password: Yes [ ] No [ ]
If yes, username: ___________________ password: _______________________
Can these settings be used from any Internet connection?: Yes [ ] No [ ]
If you use your ISPâs own email service (instead of a third-party such as Gmail), sometimes it may not work if you roam to another Internet access point, such as a cafe with wireless Internet. Check with your email provider that the settings they give you will work if you plan to roam."

Hello Carl,
In your report, I notice this:
Authentication: None
You need to authenticate before you can send mail so, authentication is a must. To be thorough, I tested both SMTP and POP authentication with the credentials you specified:

Hello Carl,
Your server only supports CRAM-MD5 and PLAIN authentication. You will need to use plain text authentication. I have never configured mac mail so I do not know how to configure this, you may want to speak with someone a apple support if you have trouble.
