Hostname Registration Popup Messages

Started getting these pop up messages every so often with Mavericks & never had them b4.
This computer’s local hostname “<computer name>-iMac-152.local” is already in use on this network. The name has been changed to “ <computer name>-iMac-155.local”.
To change the local hostname, open System Preferences and click Sharing, then click “Edit” and type the name in the Local Hostname field.”
Is this something that has always happened & I’m only now being notified about it?
I did get a new router when I upgraded to Mavericks (Apple Airport Extreme Base Station)
My iMac is hard wired to the router.
Do I have some new issue with my hostname registration after all these years?
System Preferences/Sharing Has for Computer name: “<computer name>iMac- (8)”
I’m posting with brackets & computer name instead of my actual computer’s name.
Originally I named it w/o any number in parentheses after the name. Last month when I checked it had (7) after the name & now has (8).
I have file sharing & printer sharing enabled.

Thanks for the reply.
1) I only have 1 computer on my local Network, my iMac.
2) I do have other devices connected via WiFi to that network but doubt they access it at the same time; My Smartphone & My Oppo Blu-ray player which is off when I’m using my computer.
3) I don’t know when/if my iMac wakes fron sleep unless I’m siting there.
4) Maybe but which other device?
5) My router is Apple.
6) Re the article, I have not noticed any problems connecting to the Internet & other than that do not attempt to connect to other computers or services. I do receive IP addresses automatically via DHCP
When I set up my Network with my new Apple router, I also set up a Guest Network. No one has yet used it though. (Have a long password so doubt any neighbors have guessed it)
So far it is not a big problem compared to several other Mavericks issues I have had & will be posting soon.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

Closing the browser without popup message

I refered the following thread and done the below steps
1.Create a Button called Exit.
2.Create an action for this button.
3. In the event handler for this button, write the following code:

Why do I keep getting a popup message in multiple languages requiring a shutdown and restart? Has been going on for a few months. Because of the shutdown reports have been sent to Apple upon restart.

After it restarted, did you see a dialog box resembling this one:
If so, next time it occurs click Report...
Before you send it to Apple, copy the text of the report. Paste it in a reply. Remove or obscure any personal information, should it appear.
If problems continues to occur please determine if they also occur in "Safe Mode":
Safe Mode or "Safe Boot" is a troubleshooting mode that bypasses all third party system extensions and loads only required system components. Read about it: Starting up in Safe Mode
Starting your Mac in Safe Mode will take longer than usual, graphics will not render smoothly, audio is disabled on some Macs, and some programs (iTunes for example) may not work at all.
To end Safe Mode restart your Mac normally. Shutdown will take longer as well.

How to display a popup message in query (through process chain)

Hi Gurus,
I need your help.
I have an input query that triggers an event (through a button) and runs a process chain.
I would like to show a popup message to inform the user when the process chain is over.
Using function modules I've been able to show popup messages in the workbench, but I want to display this message directly in Bex Analyzer 7.0.

I'm also looking for a solution to display a custom message in the Bex Analyser at logon.
Using function module in the logon user-exit works but only when loggin to the workbench.
I don't want to use SM02 (which works in both cases) because I need to display a variable message depending on the user.
If someone has an idea, I'll really appreciate.

My Requirement is while creating invoice if pricing conditons is repeted , system should thorough the error message like (uplicate Condition Types Are Not Possible in the status Bar but Im getting poup Error message So I want to display the same message in the status Bar.

If I put message type 'E' its Displaying popup message , MESSAGE ' Duplicate Condition Types Are Not Possible.' TYPE 'E'.

I have a requirement where I need to display data using ALV Grid. Also, in case there are any errors encountered during the data extraction I need to inform the user about it by using either a popup message or a status message stating that he needs to check the error log. To display the error log I have provided a push button which will take the user to another screen where he can see all the errors encountered.

Bad or incompatible RAM is, more often then not, the cause of most Kernel Panics. It could also just need to be reset.
Here's the most used site for Resolving Kernel Panics. Please do all the steps in order, even if you don't think you need to do a certain step.

Simple problem with popup message before adding document on system form

We have an AddOn that validates price lines on system Sales Order form matrix, so that if prices fall below a certain value, a popup is show to ask to continue or not, when user presses ADD button.
The problem is that if he chooses yes (to continue), the Sales Order is not added since the button ADD keeps being selected ....
Here is my code:

The problem is somehow related with the popup message being shown: if user says YES to continue, the system form does not continue with the standard process of adding the Sales Order (when I move the cursor above the ADD button is shows it already pressed...).
Do I have to do anything more to force the process to continue, when the user says YES?

Thtas known problem. The solution for this is declare global variable as boolean, when user selects Yes, then set this variable to true and emulate click to add button again where before the message box check if its varaible sets to true - in this case dont show message box, only set variable to false.
The concept of code will be
dim continue as boolean = false
in item event

if x = 1 then
    continue = true
     items.item("1").click

i am using adf11g,jdeveloper 11g.in form i drag and drop one vo.
in that form,for one attribute which is used as LOV,i have written valuechangelistener method.
in that method i wrote some code for validaiton.when validaiton occur i am able to show popup messages regarding particular error.
when any validaiton occur,popup message is coming,but my data is partially submitting to form after showing that error message.
it should not submitted to form in case of any error.
please give me the solution.
