Hot Audio
Any quick advice to rescure some slightly distorted audio? The input level was a wee too high.
Details: Sound is speech only (save for a droning compressor nearby that was also unavoidably picked up). The mic was a Sennheiser ew 100 G2 wireless lavalier into an Canon XL1S.
No miracles are expected, just a hopeful knock down of that overdriven sound.
Thanks for any replies.
Hello again...
you might want to try an EQ filter too, to pull down the frequencies of the compressor... try the 3 band equaliser to start with, pulling down the high freq.
In regard to the AUDynamicsProcessor, it can be a bit fiddly, but I've managed to get great results by using only the 'compression threashold' and 'attack time' and 'master gain' sliders.
'attack time' (set to around 0.02) takes off sudden bursts of volume.
'compression threashold' pulls down the overall peaks, and 'master gain' acts as a master volume control (perfect for when you have audio recorded too low, as you can take the volume way higher than the limits of the +12db on the standard audio levels!)
Using a combination of 'compression threashold' (set to around -50) and 'master gain' (set to around 3) you can pull down the peaks whilst maintaining the volume for quieter parts.
If you still have problems eliminating the drone of the compressor in your audio, you may want to try a broader EQ filter to really nail the frequency, or failing that, you might have to 'send to soundtrack' and eliminate the background audio from there.
good luck.

I recorded some street interviews and the audio was too hot ( a new sennheiser ME 66 that runs too hot on the VX-2000 + a lack of experience with the sound person). The audio never clipped at 0 db, but it's not clean, it was recorded too high. FCP offers a lot of audio filters. Anyone recommend one particular filter that I should try first? I know that filters don't make up for bad shooting, just trying to do some damage control here. ( I do not have soundtrack pro)

Mac OS X (10.3.9) FCP-HDThanks Jim,
I like your sense of humor. The sound person was a good sport and didn't get paid anyway. Too crispy is exactly the right word, (like burnt toast). Lowering the volume does help, I'd already done that. But, your suggestion of the parametric equalizer was a good one. It brings down the "crispiness" to a point where I feel more comfortable actually using this audio.

What Audio filter???
I have a sequence in FCP Hd that has a great deal of wind noise on the audio tracks due to bad weather.
I want to reduce the wind noise but keep the vocals at the same or increased levels.
Wind speeds were about 60mph.
Can i do this in FCP or would it be better to sort it out in Soundtrack later on?
Cheers for any help
KevOr.... get in touch someone in the Sound world who does this for a living, I imagine you would you get some very clear answers.
I'm not sure what type of program you're cutting, but one thing's for sure, audiences are not very forgiving about bad audio.
If you can't get a hold of anyone with that experience, try to visually see the audio. Just like we use video scopes for clarity to color correct.
Try to play the audio thru something that can read the frequencies like an EQ and pinpoint where the wind is happening and where the Vocal is happening. If they're the same frequency, that would be bad news because there's no filter called "miracle". What affects one does the other as well.
If they're not, then try using the graphicEQ in SP2 or PROCESS>REDUCE NOISE.
Also, Working with a lower volume setting will help when cleaning because it will be easier to raise the levels afterwards without getting HOT audio. The EXPANDER filter might help with that. Best of luck. -
So I've had my iPod touch since Christmas '09 & recently it's been giving me tiny problems like freezing up, not responding, getting really hot, audio not working. Each time if I hard reset it or let it turn off and cool, it's been fine.
Today the slide wouldn't work. I tried to hard reset it and it wouldn't slide but I could tap the "Cancel" button. I couldn't put in my password either because the buttons wouldn't respond correctly.
Well, I just updated it and restored it to its original settings via iTunes an the slide thing is working again.
My question is - should I take it into an Apple Store near me and have them check it out anyway? I know it's working but I feel like SOMETHING is wrong with it.Your first hunch was correct. Please take it to the Apple Store as it is still under the limited one year warranty. Apple should be able to either repair it or replace it.
I know you could probably RESTORE this thing and it will work again for a while with no guarantees that it will slip again.

After BIOS update failure and rollback, audio hot keys detect press but do not function
All other hot keys appear to function properly, only the mute/audio-/audio+ hot keys do not work.
I can press the key and the vertical volume indicator displays but it does not move.
At this time, I suspect this has to do with the failed BIOS update yesterday. All keys functioned properly before the failed BIOS update.
All HP drivers and software are updated to latest.
Another symptom I don't know may be related is that my bluetooth headphones have refused to connect once now without a full reboot. Bluetooth would connect and speaker audio audio would be muted, and sometimes "Manage Audio Devices" indicated connected to headphones but no headphone audo. Will warrant further watching.
The BIOS update was the most recent as of this writing and attenmpted to update only yesterday. I watched as the new BIOS progressed all the way to the point the BIOS attemnpted to flash and failed, then rolled back. I assume a backup was flashed because all my non-default BIOS settings had to be reset (non-UEFI boot, enable virtualization).
TIA,
Tony
BTW - I find it odd I can't just press a button to export/print my system configuration from the HP Support Assistant, I have to click every individual entry separately, but here goes...

DW CS3: how to get audio to play in hot spot?
I have tried in vain to get an audio file to play when clicking on a hot spot on a graphic. It plays but it opens in a new window with a skin. I want it to play while the graphic is displayed. I tried target="-self" but it still goes to a new page. Anybody know of a way to get around this?
Thank you!
LauraYou don't need to go in the Environnement. In the Arrange window, use an Audio Instrument track, insert Ivory at the input and if the track is selected, you should hear it.

What does it mean when somebody says your audio is hot? Is there any other video slang that I should be familiar with?
Strypesx,
Please don't cloud the issue.
You are talking about analog audio metering where 0 db was not an absolute limit and +4-5 db was no problem. In digital metering (as in FCP/STP) 0 db is an absolute limit and anything beyond is clipped.
To the OP, if the project is going to broadcast, ask the station for their tech notes. They will tell you what audio and video standards to which your project should conform. If it's going to web or DVD, either -12 or -6 db are reasonable levels. The FCP manual has a good section on audio levels. Informative and easy to read.

Audio feedback for wrong answer in Sequence and Hot Spot Questions
I am having three issues:
Everytime I close the Quiz Manager after making some changes I get an error message saying I should Presenter has failed and I should resave and restart. See attached screenshot. I think this is also why I am having the two problems below.
I have uploaded the right audio response to use for an incorrect answer. But both my hot spot and sequence questions do not playback the feedback for the incorrect answer. The audio feedback for the correct answer works fine. I have allowed 20 attempts to answer the question.
I want the text for the correct and incorrect message to be the text in the audio feedback. So after I setup the questions I manually edited the Correct/Incorrect text boxes to be the text I want. But everytime I open and close the Quiz Manager, these refresh back to the default values of "Correct" and "Try again!". Is there any way to not allow such refereshing?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks! What version of Presenter are you using? Have you tried applying any/all the updates?
1. Hard to say exactly what is wrong. This may need to be addressed by Support.
2. I believe that the incorrect feedback audio will only play on the final failed attempt (20th time in your case). This may need some testing to validate, if you change your number of attempts to two, and then answer it incorrectly twice, do you get the audio on the second failure?
3. This sounds like an issue from early versions of Presenter 7 (7.0.5 resolved this if I remember correctly), but if it is Presenter 9, support may need to know about it. -
Can I use the audio input to trigger a hot key or apple script?
Hello All,
I am looking for a solution to use a FireWire audio interface to record in multiple tracks in garage band. I am looking to have each track queue up a hot key or a apple script when that track is receiving audio and when the audio stops. for instance if person one is speaking the hot key is activated and stops when they are done talking. And when person 2 starts on a different channel a separate hot key is activated. Is there any way to do this?
ThanksI realize you are asking specifically about 'defaults', but as they concede in 'man defaults', it may not be the best tool for editing properties in "complex" structures, such as those buried in dicts within arrays, etc.
As an alternative, it looks like in 10.5, '/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy' is now a part of the standard install - 'PlistBuddy' may be more useful for this sort of task.
For example:<pre>
/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c "set Test:0:Name zzzz" /path/to/file.plist</pre> -
Bootcamp 3.1 and imac windows 7 64bit update not installing. Audio issues!
After many days of work getting the windows 7 working in bootcamp in my imac 27 (still with audio issues) I eagerly awaited the bootcamp update and imac updates.
Neither will install.
Then I find that according to tech support as of now I have to reinstall Windows 7 again for the updates to work!
It took me 5 full 8 hours days to get all my scientific programs installed and working, now I find I can't even simply update the drivers I need. I don't want to reinstall.
My only issues are audio.
Here they are:
1) The headset jack works fine on the Mac side, but in Windows 7, it causes the i7 intel CPU to go crazy. There is no CPU spike on the mac side.
2) The headset jack in the imac is a trrs jack. The same as in the iphone, a tri-band jack that has three bands, two audio out channels and one mic in channel. A trrs headset works fine on the mac side with using the headset mic (as in iphone) rather than the built in mic. (this provides much better quality for sound recording). I don't want to use a usb mike.
In Windows 7 the mic part of the trrs headset does not work.
3) In Windows 7 when going into audio devices recording, no audio mixer shows up, so when I do video or audio screen capture the only way to capture the sound is through the speakers and then back through the imac built in mic, rather than directly through the unit. (terrible sound quality) On the mac side the mixer element works fine.
Now I find from other imac users that even the new updates for the imac on windows 7 don't address and fix the audio issues. I am sure not going to go through 5 more days work only to find the audio issues still don't work.
I need these audio aspects to work properly though!
I have tried to get drivers for the cirrus logic audio card, but guess what there are none available and cirrus logic doesn't even recognize the board or offer drivers.
I have many windows programs I must have for my scientific research!I bought the top of the line Imac with all the bells and whistles because Apple promised that the machine could run Windows 7 in bootcamp natively!
It doesn't. This has been a nightmare of problems.
Is Apple going to step up to the plate and make good on their promises?
Does any one have a fix for any of the audio issues, or know how to install the new drivers without a complete reinstall of Windows?
Installing a few sound drivers and software should not require a complete reinstall. Getting the proper drivers for the headset jack audio in and audio out jack should be the most basic of fixes. Making the audio mixer work should be elementary.
If you are an Apple tech person or an Apple user that can help on these issues, please do!
Thanks, Dr. Duke
An American profesor in Europe.
PS I will post this under Imac windows 7 updates without a reinstall and under
imac Sound issues. On another thread a few people have responded saying that their imac has the same situation, the cpu is going crazy and the imac gets hot with headphones or speakers plugged in. But this doesn't happen in the mac side.
If you have an late 2009 imac and don't have these audio issues, let us hear from you. If you don't, lay out the problem here.
Here is my last two cents in to the inquiry.
Not only does the cpu run crazy but the imac 27 gets very, very hot. Since I unplugged the headphones, it runs much, much cooler.
Certainly, some Mac engineers should take care of this problem, it seems it is universal on all the imac 27's and from what I gather, the smaller screened cousins too.
Also, we certainly want a stereo mix option for audio in or out, or what is called "what you hear" or wave out. Imac is supposed to be much geared to multimedia apps.
Finally, the mic jack part of the trrs set up MUST be fixed! A lot of manufacturers are going to headset combo jacks as they call them, mic in and stereo out on the same tribanded plug. But, the old single jack for mic in and single jack for stereo out are two tiny parts of the hardware and super inexpensive for the manufacturer. Why in the **** to go to the "advanced" triplug if the **** thing doesn't work.
Mac has a great reputation. I hope they remedy these problems right away.
Anyone whose imac 27 or 24 whose headset plug is working correctly. Let us know! I don't think anyone's is, but I think that few people understand that their cpu is running so much faster with the plug in, plus few even understand the combo jack and the triband, or trrs audio jack! Out of 4 audio technicians I talked to, not one of them knew what a trrs jack was or that you even have a mic in jack as part of the headset jack!
When I told one senior that it worked on the Mac side, he didn't believe for a while, thought my sound might be recorded from the onboard mic, but I proved it to him by tapping iaudibly on my iphone mic headset and and it showing up in garage band clearly and listening to big difference in audio.
As for a usb audio adapter, I am in a neon light environment and find that those adapters are more sensitive to electrical interference. Besides I want to use the headset jack as it was meant to be used!
Thats it.
Again, if anyone using an imac 27 and windows 7 64 or 32 doesnt have these problems, let us know! We are all anxious for a fix!

Hi,
I work with low resolution video and graphics. I don't anticipate working with higher resolution at all, I am not going to buy a digital videocamera. I take pictures with my digital still camera at 640x480. My screen resolution is set for the lowest I can use iMovie with, 1024x768 (stretched). I capture video with an XLR8 USB device which feeds video from my tv/vcr/VHS camcorder. The driver is from InterView and I capture with either BTV or InterVew Capture. (See my separate thread on resolutions)
(I managed to get iMovie to show the video window at 641x480 but I will have to check each time if I want to be sure I am set right (although it doesn't really matter.) It would be nice if there was a setting that I could keep it at... Yes, I can try to leave the window at that setting but I would prefer it be kept as a preference.)
Some of the material I want to deal with is VHS video, video from the tv, webcam video that I have laid off onto VHS. I want to edit and put that stuff on DVD. I have have figured out how to do most of what I want to do (and it looks fine when played back on the tv which is all I am asking for) but here is a problem I am not sure hot to work around:
The audio is ahead of the video. I feed the audio from my tv to my stereo and from there it goes into the computer. It ends up pretty close. I didn't notice it until I started using iMovie and iDVD; I've captured lots of video before on an older machine. Help in iMovie says I should "extract the video", save the project to Quicktime and see if that helps. Isn't that just incase the problem is a Quicktime bug or something? In my situation, as far as I can tell, the reason the audio is out of sync with the video is that the video is going in via a USB 1 device and the audio is getting into the computer faster via the audio-in port. While capturing (with BTV or InterView Capture) there is a bit of a delay anyway, the audio and video are behind what I am seeing on the tv. It never really bothered me before but it is much more noticeable now when I look at the results (It's not noticeable during the capture.)
I could try to select the audio track (after extracting it)and try to noodge it to the right spot (using the arrow key?) but I am skeptical. It is so hard to cue with iMovie, trying to synchronize audio would be an exercise in futility. I might be able to noodge it to the right of left by using the arrow key but it will be real hard to tell if it is synched up.
Which brings me to another problem. The only way I have ever been able to see waveforms is by extracting audio. Shouldn't I be able to see them by just checking the menu item Show Audio Waveforms? It never showed them until I extracted them into their own separate track. (One other feature I would LOVE to see is being able to hear the audio at various speeds. I would be able cue/synchronize much better being to hear when something starts. Better movement controls would help me alot too.)
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make sure my audio is in sync in the future? My XLR8 device does not have an audio input which, I think, would solve it.
Thanks.
John LOK. Here is what I did for this round which wasn't successful (was still out of sync) but I wanted to try it anyway. At one point when I looked at the iDVD preview some of it actually seemed to be in sync.
Back to the beginning. I set iMove to 640x480. I get those numbers in yellow on the screen. (I had set the screen to 640x480 once before. It did not remember that when I started up iMovie...) I hope those numbers go away; they're sticking around...
I check the source files and the audio is good there. In sync. They are InterView Exported from the original QT format to .dv to get rid of InterView's encoding which supposedly prevents people without it from seeing the video (but I have never noticed that it made any difference. It does fix the 16x9 aspect ratio problem I noted in an earlier thread though so I do it.)
I import/save as MPEG-4. Importing slows down on the last two clips. It says it will be done in 23 minutes for a long time. Tabbing between a few other open apps seems to encourage it to speed up... I check Activity Monitor and there are no stalled processes. OK.
I have 13 GB available. I know I should have more but unless it gives me an error message I will attempt to go with what I have. (I did throw out all earlier versions of iMovie and iDVD files.)
OK, It's done importing. The 640x480 lettering has gone away, thank you. Now I will edit each clip separately. I think it will be easier that way. Hopefully putting them back on the clip tray(?) after I I'm done won't be a problem.
I check, the audio is NOT in sync but I will try to fix that with the suggestions from the link above, before I export to iDVD.
Trying to edit is very difficult. All I want to do is just cut some of the beginning and ends off of these clips. Sometimes I get a vertical bar with the arrow facing in, sometimes I don't. Also, sometimes it shows me the whole clip as being selected, sometimes it only shows from the beginning to a little past the playhead marker. Very weird (but alas, not surprising). Saving and quitting and restarting iMovie does not help. Eventually the vertical bars appear when needed and I move on. (I assume all I have to do is move that bar to the where I have left the playhead. That seems to work most of the time. I bookmarked certain points as well and dragged the vertical bars to those points and if it did what I wanted, I moved on. Sometimes weirder things happened but I can't describe them.
Now to put all the clips on the timeline and see if I can sync up the audio. I (Select all and) extract. The progress bars do their thing. I get a red bar under the first clip so I scroll to the right and eventually get all the of them done and proper waveforms. I extract. The audio is NOT in sync. OK. I try suggestion #3 (putting in one or two second gaps at chapter markers but have difficulty with that and give up. I don't have QT Pro so option #4 is out. Option #2 I discard since I want all my segments as one movie and as individual segments but I later realize I could do that anyway. My DVD would end up in slightly different format but it may be workable. I may try that if what I am doing now in iDVD doesn't work out. (I may just give up at this point too. It isn't worth the trouble...)
One reason I gave up with #3 was that I could not select all! I get the selected blue indication from the beginning and a little after the playhead but not after that. Other weirdness occurs...
I ignore that and put in chapter markers. I put in 4 for one clip and I see that the entire timeline is selected. Good.
I bring it into iDVD. (I suppose I should continue this thread in an iDVD message...) I'll just leave it here: things look out of sync in iDVD as I am encoding it. I doubt it will be fixed but I will let it run its course. I do have an earlier attempt which may be a little better/not bad.
OK. iDVD is all set up but the sync isn't any better. I just wanted to try it and see.
Maybe I'll try iMovie 3...
Thanks for your interest and all you help.

Iphone 5S IOS8 - quality of audio when taking video?
The biggest disappointment with the 5S was the TERRIBLY distorted audio when taking videos of live music or loud events. The 4S didn't feature the front mic and therefor sound was passing by perpendicular to the mic and it would not be as "hot" of a signal.
I have not one but two external mice I use when I plan*** on taking video but living in a city with tons of music I am not always prepared with an external mic. Taking video with IOS7 with the 5S is useless if the audio source is above 85db or so.
Can anyone who has upgraded IOS on the 5S confirm that they have corrected the software for the mic sensitivity for a 5S? My buddy has the 6 and his live videos of music do NOT distort.
Thanks!Hello AudioArchist,
Does the issue of recording videos still not get any sounds? If so, take a look at the article below to troubleshoot the issue further. Now it may be hard to give the exact reason why that happened, but the article should assist with getting it fixed.

Mid 2013 macbook air: battery drain / running hot
Hi there,
For the last couple weeks my MBA starts to run hot and drain battery fast if I've been using it for a few hours.
I use it a lot on most days and connect to powercord only once it drops down low, like below 20%.
Have just seen other posts who recommend doing that at 50% battery and will now do the same.
However my question is: have i ruined my battery in the meantime?
AND/OR is there something else i can do to get battery running like it used to, and stop the loud fan switching on all the time because it's all running too hot?
I've copied in an etrecheck in case that helps diagnose more....
thanks heaps for any help!

2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. All it does is to collect information about the state of the computer. That information goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. However, you should be cautious about running any kind of program (not just a shell script) at the request of a stranger on a public message board. If you have doubts, search this site for other discussions in which this procedure has been followed without any report of ill effects. If you can't satisfy yourself that the instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed: Copy a line of text from this web page into the window of another application. Wait for the script to run. It usually takes a few minutes. Then paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page. The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. Details follow.
4. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
5. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
6. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.
Note: This is a public forum, and others may give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak only for themselves, and I don't necessarily agree with them.

Audio problems in Flash Player and Firefox
Hi everyone!
I have a problem that has been plagueing me for nearly a year now, all audio in all videos i play in Firefox goes out of synch, the video will start ok then at around the two minute mark the audio starts to lag until it's completely left the visual playback behind, the only solution is to keep clicking the video back a few seconds to re-align the audio, this is temp as the audio will slowly drop out of synch again!
This problem has been driving me crazy!
It doesn't happen in Chrome or IE only Firefox. I have posted thread after thread on tech forums but nobody has yet been been able to help, i'm using the latest Firefox. the latest Flash Player (uninstalled and re-installed properly) all my drivers are bang up to date, all caches cleared all....in fact you name it iv'e done it!
This was never an issue until about a year ago, nothing has been installed hardware wise and the only software installed has been updates for ongoing programmes!
Help me Adobey wan kenobi, your my only hope!

Hardware acceleration on or off makes absolutely no difference, i recently tried watching videos in a 100% fresh install and new profile in firefox (no addons) and the problem still occurs albiet a little slower in the new install, ie it takes a little longer to drop out of synch.
There is a noticeable difference in framerate just before the problem occurs, like a very tiny hiccup, from that point on the audio gets left further and further behind, it's remedied by clicking back a few seconds on the video play bar but this is only temporary, lately i've even noticed it happening with live streams from the BBC, once again i must stress, this doesn't happen in Chrome or Opera or IE. -
Jabber not support p2p audio on WebEx Connect.
Hi, everyone.
We have received complaints from customers in the WebEx Connect Client peer-to-peer audio functionality. We know Cisco's announcement, after April 3, 2015, a customer has to use Jabber on WebEx Connect. But Jabber doesn't have the peer to peer audio function.
Customers to be continued use the WebEx Connect Client. Until Jabber with peer-to-peer audio functionality. I think customer claims is hot, and correct.
Q1. Does Jabber plan to support the peer to peer audio function?
Q2. We want to use continuous WebEx Connect Client, until p2p audio support on Jabber.
We escalated to the Webex Customer success Manager, but difficult to change the situation. If this goes on, customers consider stopping the WebEx contract renewal. and considering Skype or LINE for free talk function :(
