Hot syncing with my blackberry

Does anyone know how I can hotsync with my blackberry?
Someone told me to use markspace but they don't support blackberry.

PocketMac. I use it and it works fine. Plus it is free.

Hot Sync with Non-latin Character Display Problem

I have a XP Home Desktop with Palm Desktop 4.01 installed. When I do a hot sync with my Sony Clie T655C, the chinese characters are display correctly in both XP home Desktop and the Clie.
Now, I have a netbook with window7 Starter installed for travelling use. It took me a while to resolve the problem on the hotsync with window 7 starter and sony clie. At the end, I have Palm desktop v6.2 and Palmhotsyncsetup from pimlico on the netbook. I am able to do a hotsync with cradle/cable, but not through network (with TCP/IP not listen error message).
I have installed the chinese, English, french IME for the window 7 Starter netbook. I am able to type Chinese character in Notepad and Word and display the character correctly. I am able to save the file ( filename in both chinese and english character), re-open it and all characters are displayed correctly.
But with Palm Desktop v6.2, I am able to type chinese and the characters are displayed correctly in calendar/data book. When I close the palm desktop and re-open it again. All the characters become "?", as a result, I can not fully evaluate the software Pimlico for window desktop. As it only works with Palm desktop v6.2.
Any suggestion?

2 way sync with my Blackberry Curve and Hotmail

Is it the case that with a free hotmail account I can not have 2 way sync with my Blackberry Curve. What if I upgrade to a subscription Hotmail account? Or is it just not possible?

Its not possible with Hotmail.

Entourage, gmail, calander and syncing with a blackberry

HI all, i have a few questions here, that maybe someone could answer most of them, the blackberry one maybe not.
I use entourage on my imac to get my email from my pop server. i have recently migrated from a regular pop server to gmail, which has imap capabilities. I have managed to get entourage to sync up with my gmail account, and finally gotten my blackberry to also get gmail emails.
question 1) i have a list of folders in my inbox from my pop server previously, but with the new gmail account, my rules and subfolders are obsolete. How can i upload the emails and folders to the gmail server so that they are the same online now?
question 2) I use entourage quite extensively now for my calander and contacts information, and i have the blackberry desktop manager to sync things up. the problem is that it seems like although it says that the blackberry can sync with entourage, it syncs through the 'address book' and the 'calander' of the mac itself. reason being, i can input data onto the calander on entourage and on ical, and it will sync to the blackberry, but i can't go from blackberry to ical to entourage. is there a way to cut out the middle man and have the blackberry and entourage sync 'directly' rather than indirectly?
any help would be great

Hello Snyder-k and welcome to the Palm forums.
Have you tried downloading and installing Palm Desktop 4.2.1 Rev D? That version should work fine with your iMac running Mac OS X 10.5.4. Just make sure that your Mac OS X user account is an admin level account before reinstalling Palm Desktop.

Cannot hot sync with Outlook

Hello All!
I am trying to hot sync a Palm TX with Outlook. If I choose Start>Programs>Palm>PIM Conduit Sync> Sync with Outlook, I get "No Palm Desktop to configure or condmgr.dll could not be loaded." If I try to register condmgr.dl, it will not allow mw to register or unregister it. If I do a hard reset of the Palm TX, it appears to by synchornizing, but the entries in Outlook and on the Palm do not match.
The OS is XP Professional.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Palm Desktop and see if that fixes your issue. Just remove Palm Desktop from your Control Panel and go to Add/ Remove Programs. You can download and install the Palm Desktop program on our website at www.palm.com under the support page.

Gmail contacts and calender no longer sync with my BlackBerry

Hi
I noticed a while back that the contacts and calender events that I enter through Google Chrome on my Gmail account don't show up on my BB anymore. It used to take a day or three, but now it is simply not doing anything.
CICAL, SYNC and CMIME are still set to Gmail. BB Desktop Software is set to sync wirelessly, as before. When I go to Contacts Options on my BB it shows one contact list and that is labelled "unknown". Also, in email account management it is set to sync contacts, calender, etc.

Can you please try forcing a synchronization of your Gmail calendar and contacts to see if that resolves the issue? On your BlackBerry smartphone, click Setup > Email Accounts and select the Gmail account. Remove the checkmark from the Wireless Synchronization checkboxes next to Calendar and Contacts and click Save. Then place the Checkmarks back in the Wireless Synchronization checkboxes and click Save again. Let me know if this helps.

Hot Sync with Windows Vista, Windows 7`

I have a client with a large deployment of Palm III and Palm IIIc devices. They are looking for a HotSync Manager that is compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7, and that will still support sync operations with Palm III and Palm IIIc devices.

Palm Hot Sync with Operating System Windows 7

Ever since I started using Windows 7 on my laptop I am not able to sync. I am using version 5.4 on my TREO755P , my hotsync on laptop is version 6.1

Hello rhackett and welcome to the Palm forums.
If you are using a 64-bit edition of Windows 7 you will be unable to perform a HotSync using the provided 32-bit USB driver from the Treo software CD. You will need to perform a HotSync over Bluetooth. For more details, check out this thread.

They told me it would do it automatically, but none of my contacts are in my phone from my gmail, and none of my email addresses are in my phone!

Button preferences and hot sync with a nonresponsive screen?

In preparation for a cross-country move I've run across my old Tungsten E and it occurred to me that it would be handy as an ebook reader during said move. While I'm able to charge it, the power button is defunct, though pressing the reset button turns it on. Meanwhile, the screen does not respond to the stylus, though it still displays perfectly well.
I'd like to set one of the buttons to be the new power key, and another to go to Mobipocket, so I can use this as an ereader. But since the screen's not responsive, I can't do any of those things on the PDA itself. Is there any way to do these things via the desktop?

Pressing any of the front app buttons should turn the device on! Is this not working for you?
Try a Soft Reset - press the tiny Reset button in the back of the device.
Check around the screen for dirt/grit stuck between the screen itself and the plastic bezel around the screen. Anything caught there will cause a phantom screen press, and the screen will not work.
The 5-way navigation pad should move the highlight around the screen. Is this working? If not, your screen may be damaged. If it does work, open the Prefs app, then Buttons. Change one of them to Mobi.
If none of the above works, try a Hard Reset. Since your power button doesn't work, you'll need to install "Hard Reset" from here (if HotSync still works!)

Need help with hot sync

My palm Zire 72 lost all battery power, and all infor on it went away. I did a hot sync with my
computer a few days ago. When I sync with my palm it usually takes from palm to computer,
now I need everything from the computer to the palm. How do I do that? I don't want to loose my info.

Right click on the hotsync icon in your task bar and select custom. Then highlight each conduit select change and set to desktop overwrites handheld.

Can I sync my new Blackberry with iCal via my .Mac account???

My company just got me a new Blackberry 8830 (I would have preferred an iPhone but my company won't allow it).
I'm running Microsoft Office 2004 and use Entourage for my email and contacts. These sync with my Blackberry just fine thanks to the company's Enterprise server -- no problem.
Here's my problem: I like iCal much better than the Entourage calendar. In the past, I've used my .Mac account to sync sink my iCal calendars on both my home and work computers (both are iMacs).
What I'd like to be able to do is sync my Blackberry's "calendar" with everything I've got in iCal. I'd like to do this without having to USB connect my Blackberry with my Mac every time I want to do this. My understanding is that PocketMac only works when you use a USB cable. I'd also prefer not to have to export my iCal calendars into Entourage.
Any suggestions?
