Hot to Print 3 copies of Invoice in separate trays from HP Laserjet Printer

My Customer needs to print three copies of the Invoice in different color paper. The paper is loaded in the three trays in the printer and we need to tell the printer from Business One to send the three copies, one for each tray.
The printer is HP Laserjet P4015 tn.

it is not possible to send print to three different tray , current limitations in printer setup can only select which printer the data must be sent we cannot direct 3 pages to three different tray
but you can have solution like
1) arrange the invoice paper such that each color is kept next (eg blue-pink-green again blue-pink-green and blue-pink-green...)
2)check with printer vendor for any such setting in printer so that you can send each page to different tray

Photosmart 8750 - how to avoid white edges on print? And how to match colors from monitor to print?

Hi all! I´m new here so I hope I ask this in the right forum. Please advice me if this should be in another sub-forum..
First: The white edges around my photos when printed:
I can´t figure out how to avoid the white edges when I print my photos.
If I print in A3 size (or any other size) there´s always the white edges around my photos on the print, and it´s really annoying.
I make the size in Photoshop (CS4 extended) so that the photo matches the size of the printing paper, but still it gets adjusted when printing so I get the white edges.
I either print directly from PS or from Windows Photoviewer. (I have Windows 7).
In PS in the printing dialog box it says Scale to fit media, when I tick this and also have the Show Paper White ticked, it appears that the photo goes exactly as the size is set, but then I can see a thin white edge on top of it, illustrating that the photo will be printed with a white edge on top. If I untick the Scale to fit media, the photo appears to be cut a great deal before printed, so this will destroy my image.
I usually print from Windows Photoviewer as the colours in PS turns out more different than when saved and printed from Windows. (My next question). In Windows Photoviewer I only have the option Fit to frame, but in the preview it doesn´t look like any of those two options will give a borderless print.
In the printers dialoge box for the Paper/Quality I only use the option for A3 HP glossy photopaper, but I see there are other options such as Photo without edges A3, but then the size says 423x303mm which is slightly bigger than the size of the photo.
Also there´s a box to tick under it, Print without edges and under it Automatic fit without edges.
Is it something here I should tick or untick?
What options should I use to get it to print and fill the whole paper?
Second: How to get the same colours on my print as it shows on my monitor?
I have tried figuring out this, but I gave up. Though I know there´s something about the Profile´s, just not how to set them..
As already said, the colours looks quite different when printed directly from PS than saved as .jpg and printed from Windows Photoviewer. In colours the print is closer to the actual colours when printed from Windows than from PS, but BW photos is quite far from as seen on the monitor when printed, from both of them.
Instead of this nice warm "brownish" hue seen on my monitor, it´s printed with a greenish hue. Really annoying as I spend a lot of time working on my photos to get them as I like.
In the printer´s dialog box (in Windows) I have disabled the ICM colour management.
In PS dialog box I´m sure there´s something to do different under the Color Management, but I don´t know what.
Also there´s probably something different in my monitor´s profile that differs from the printer and PS?
Anyone who can help with either one or both of my problems??

Here is a link to a post about the same problem you are having and the same printer. You may find the posts helpful as some were able to find a solution. Post number 6 and number 12 specifically have found solutions that worked for them. Hope this helps some.

Printing multiple copies of invoice, PO etc.

We are not able to print multiple copies of Invoice, PO etc. from SAP.
e.g. When we print invoice using vf02->issue output, we are setting number of copies to be printed as 5, still only one copy gets printed. Hence, we need to execute the vf02 five times to get five copies of the invoice. Same is the case for PO printing.

No, we are not using front end printing (F/G). When we click on "issue output to" (vf02->Billing Document)), we select the print button and the standard printer dialog for selecting Printer and other settings appears. In this dialog there is option call "Number of Copies". We set it to 5 and after clicking on "OK", only single print gets printed.

Hello Experts,
There are 2 issues
1)More than one copy of Print of Export invoices
2)A Contract number to be mentioned/flown into Export Invoice
Are they both done by ABAPers or SD has a role in that.Kindly guide.

Mass print of detailed invoices (AR, AP)

I would like to ask you to help me with the issue of the mass printing of detailed invoices of Accounts Receivable and Payable.
I tried in FB03 but there is the only possibility to print list of invoices. I need something where I can choose to print e.g. invoices nr. 1-50 and they will be printed on separate pages.

Hi,
Try transaction F.62 (Internal documents). You may need customized correspondence form to get the details you want in the invoice print out. You select the correspondence form in F.62 before you can print.

Can we print multiple excise invoice documents with one click?

SAP has provided with t-code 'J1IP' for printing excise invoice documents. But for printing multiple documents we need to click print button each time for every new document. is there any other way by which you can print bulk excise documents without clicking print button each time?

It is possible on SAPB1.
Try to Use the Document Printing Window on Financials or Marketing or Banking Module..
Try this,
->> Financials.
-> Choose Document Printing.
->> Open the Document Printing Window.
->> Select the Document Type - Incoming (or) Outgoing Excise Invoice.
for example, IF you Select the Document Type - Incoming Excise Invoice.
->> Select the require Series.
-> your requirement wise, put the tick mark of Open Only or &Only Documents Still to Be Printed.
->> put the Posting Date From Date & To Date.
->> Assign the No. of Copies - 1 or Your wishes.
->> Click the OK button, than will Open the Print Incoming Excise Invoice Window.
->> Choose all Incoming Excise Document (select all row).
->> Click the Print button.

Regenerate PDF copies of invoices

Hi Experts,
I have a question in billing related output processing.
Scenario/Requirement: My company (ABC) is acquired by some other company (XYZ). Now company XYZ is requesting us to give thes soft copies of invoices in SAP in a PDF format that they will store in some data ware house.
I imagine that it is some form of a customer program that we need to write to regenerate the old invoices in PDF format and also give us an option to download the file to a local folder.
Has anyone faced such kind of a situation earlier? if you did can you let me know some details like what functional module(s) you used to pull this etc.,

Vishnuu2019s suggestion would work. Here is an alternative that works for sapscript output. It might work for smartforms, but I have never tried it. It involves a new output type, an LSMW to open and save each invoice, and an LSMW for a SAP program to convert spool requests into PDF files.
Configure a new output type for the invoices. Assign the same layout set as your u201Cnormalu201D invoice output type. Assign a key combination that is simple to set up a condition record for all of your invoices (like u201CSales Orgu201D). Add the new output type to your billing output procedure. Transport to your target system.
In the target system,
1.     Create the condition record for the new output type. Assign medium 1 (print), date/time 4 (immediate), and assign a u201Cdummyu201D output device that will not really print anything.
2.     Create an LSMW to open and save a billing document via t-code VF02. With the new output condition record in place, each execution of VF02 will generate a spool request for the output (that will not print since you assigned a dummy printer). Run the LSMW for all of the invoices that you need to process.
3.     Create another LSMW to execute program RSTXPDFT4 for each spool request sitting out there waiting on the dummy printer. You can get a list of the spool requests from table TSP01. Specify the spool request number and network path/file name for the selection screen in your input file.

Try to create 2 different pages in the smartforms with diff backgorund, then this would serve ur purpose or else you can call 2 diff forms from same driver program.

Excise invoice Print for multiple invoices

i have developed a z smartform and attached to standard tcode J1IP o/p type J1I0 . The o/p is comming fine when i select one excise no after excecuting tcode J1IP But if selected multiple invoices by checking the checkbox and press print preview or print
button each time it is giving print preview/print diaog. i.e i need to execute print for first invoice and again i have to come back and again it will ask print prview/print dialog for second like wise n times for n no of selected documents .
my requirement is like when i execute tcode J1Ip and when i select multiple invoice i should get only one print preview or print dialog for all documents . how to achieve this

Its simple.
Put all the invoices in a single loop. I think you will be calling the smartform function module for each and every invoice. Don't do like that. Just collect all the invoices in the final table first and after that display the invoices.

your printer doesn't appear in the compatible Airprint printers listed in this basic article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
There might be an app HP has to help you out, but there's no Apple supported way, as it's not an Airprint printer.

If you want to use one template to print both currencies, you need add many fields to achieve your goal. Both LC & FC fields should be hidden and using formula fields plus the condition fields to show the results. Search the forum if you don't know how to use this Conditional Formula in PLD.

Slow printing copies to HP Color Laserjet 400 series

This issue first appeared on 10.8, and still there... Not sure if it is a feature or bug
HP Color Laserjet M451 with ethernet connect and 386 MB ram. Mac 10.9.3 with latest print driver from HP.
Let's say my document has 5 pages, text and graphics, it will print fine speed wise. Say it takes about 30 sec to spool, process and print the one page. THe rest of the document print at good speed.
If I decided to print 8 copies of this document, and select 8 copies in the print setting, it will essentially submit the print job 8 times so after the first job is done, i will have to wiat for it to process the file and spool it to the printer, etc. it will take a long time. It does not matter it is Word, PDF (using Acrobat reader or Preview), or PowerPoint, same time of respond.
Same printer, network and file print from Windows 7 will spool, process once, and then the printer will just fly thought the copies as if it is all one document, so i can get this done in say 1 min. The printer print fast after 1 page.
So. Let's say I want to print 1 page of a document (it can be just text), and say i want 50 copies. then forget it. It will sit there and spool, process and etc each page for 30 sec. And windows 7 (even xp) will treat it like it is printing one document of 50 pages.
Any idea if this is a feature of Mac or HP? couldn't be HP if windows 7 print ok.

This works for me, because I'm tired of waiting for Adobe to find solutions: open your pdf document with Preview and print from there. It will print cleaner and faster than any Adobe application.

C309a print copies of 1 page documents

I've been using Photosmart printers with duplexing for years. In the past, I've always left two-sided printing on "Automatically" as the default for general printing. If I had a one page document, and asked it to print, say, 3 copies of the document, I would get 3 pages with one side each.
I just intalled a C309a on the same Vista system I've been using in the past. I've set my printer default to "automatically" for two-sided printing. Now if I want to print several copies of a one-page document, it prints both sides of the page. So a request for 3 copies of a one-page document results in two printed pages - one page has the document printed on each side, plus one page has it on only one side.
The only way around this seems to be to alternate between printing shortcuts. If I have a one-page document, and I want several copies, I have to switch to the General setting with two-sided printing set to "off". If I want a multi-page document duplexed, I have to switch over to the Two-Sided printing setting. I'm disappointed because I didn't have to switch back and forth with any of my former Photosmart duplex printers.
Is my new C309a really supposed to work this way? Or should I be able to get 3 single-sheet copies of a one page document, even with two-sided printing set to "Automatically", like all my previous printers allowed?
