Hotmail Help for iphone Please!
I read the discussions regarding Hotmail and decided to pay the $20 a year in order to be able to access Hotmail on my new iphone G3. I had been working fine until just last week. The only thing I can think of that could have changed was that I updated my phone with the new 2.1 software. Could that have changed something? I would really like my hotmail to work again and don't quite know how to resolve it. The settings have not changed, and I can see my past mail, write new outgoing mail but it won't update with new incoming e-mails. Any advice?
You could try "restoring" your phone and then reinstalling the update. Make sure that everything is backed up (ie contacts, pictures, etc.) by synching your phone with your computer, then under the same synch option in iTunes click restore. Once it has restored your phone to the original settings synch your phone again and everything will be reinstalled on the phone.
That might help, but no garuntees.

Creating Help for Iphone/Android app
I need to create help for an iPhone and Android app using RoboHelp 10.
Which option do I choose for a New Project: Blank Project or Application Help?
And, which output do I choose under "File > Generate"? I see an option for "Native Mobile App." But, I'm not seeing a "Multiscreen HTML5" option.

Thanks for your help!That's a pretty big question and you haven't given us any clues such as which version of RoboHelp you are using and whether it is just this form of help that is new to you or help in general.
It doesn't really matter whether you choose Blank Project or Application Help as they are just starters with different default topics and you will be trashing them anyway. For now let's say start with Blank Project and create your topics. You do need to keep in mind they will be viewed on various devices. More about that later.
When that is done you start thinking about creating a suitable output. Multiscreen HTML5 is the output in RoboHelp 10. RoboHelp 11 was released today and that has a new output, Responsive HTML5. That is simpler, especially first time out. Both of those types are intended for use where they will be viewed via a browser, be that on a desktop or a mobile device.
It is not clear whether you want your company's app to access help in that way or whether the need is for the help to be an app in its own right. The latter adds another layer of learning. Essentially after creating an HTML5 output, you use the script to create an app. From the questions you ask, I suspect you will need developer assistance with that.

As3 - Map/Level help for iPhone + movement
I'm making an app for an iphone using CS5 and was wondering the best way to make a map or a level. I want it to be continuous until the player dies which will bring it to the end game frame. An example would be NinJump for iPhone. You keep going and going until you die.
Then my next question.. I feel stupid asking cause i feel like only i have this problem..whenever I do the hitTestPoint check my character goes through the floor in the middle. I tried changing the registration points but when I put it to the bottom for my character it just does swirls... not move so i kind of changed the code around to make it work but probably wont be best for slopes and stuff.

Except the Mouse Movement Triggers, other mouse trigger work well, such as when_mouse_click, when_mouse_doubleclick.

Request help for iphone screen flickering
I'm using iphone 4. Few days ago (before the software update 6.0.1) i noticed my iphone screen is flickering and blurred.this bug was not fixed after IOS update 6.0.1. Thus showing horizontal lines in the screen.
please help meI did resolve it. I did the reset while the phone was plugged into my computer at home (holding down the home button and power button at the same time, until it shuts down and reboots). It took a few tries but eventually it showed the icon of the plug going into the icon for iTunes. From iTunes, I did a restore from an older backup, and then reinstalled the update from the computer. Now it works just fine. I wonder if maybe the update was just too hefty to pull down via the cellular network.
If you never did a backup of your phone to iTunes or the cloud, then you'll likely have to do a restore to factory conditions and then do the update. Incovenient, but better than a paperweight -
I need to use windows in order to use Visual C++ for college but I don't have enough space in my internal Hard Drive so I want to install windows 7using boot camp or any other method on a portable hard drive and boot from it.

You can use a VM and put the VM image (VHD) anywhere any drive you want.
You are way too low on disk space, seriously so. And no room - even Windows and Mac OS should be warning and balking already.
"emulator" is an old-school term, even true, running a Guest OS under Mac's as a virtual machine, shared resources (RAM, processor) is easier but not the same performance level as running natively.

I'm rather disappointed at how many features are iPhone 4 specific on the latest update. Do we older generation iPhone users not matter to you because we haven't given you even more money for your annual hardware update? Do we not deserve FREE device tracking if our phones are lost, or worse, stolen? Having the feature on every iPhone that you can supply it to would be extremely helpful in helping law enforcement officials track down criminals. Do we NEED to give you even more money (an astounding $99 a year) for that peace of mind? Or even the smallest features such as new text tones that we already give you money for in the iTunes store that are limited to one use. If we don't get equal features, we shouldn't have to pay an equal price for the tones that we get limited use for. Apple, this is completely disappointing.

Thanks for your help. I have now realised that I need to update my IOS but I'm going to go to the apple store to do this as I have an old MacBook and want to make sure it's capable of the new IOS. In the meantime, I have no phone as my iphone4 has been cut for the setup of m iPhone 5. Do you think I can set up the 5 as a new phone tonight to be contactable and then restore my old phone when I sort the MacBook?

The best free mac video converter for iphone please?
So far i used to add my avi files to my itunes library on my mac using movie2itunes. then i would right click on the movies and choose 'create iphone version'. i was expecting the video size to go down as the resolution and screen size of the iphone is much smaller compared to the resolution of the original avi file and the screen size of my macbook. so for all reasons it had to encode lesser data into the new file. instead, it keeps the same resolution! and while the original size is a mere 300mbs for 60 minutes of videos the new encoded file is a 550 mbs!
so i think using itunes for video conversion is not a very smart way of utilizing space on the iphone. can u recommend me some good, preferably free, video conversion software for mac which is smart enough to convert movies (especially avi) to iphone format and also NOT increase the size, if not decrease it!

NeeravMpeg Streamclip is nice because of options and its free, but I would use iSquint. Its FREE and it converts in very nice quality, with basic options. Trust me it will cover your converting needs. But if you wanna download vids from Youtube and stuff, I would use mpeg streamclip too. Both together are a nice converint combo. I hope I helped:)?

When I load a cd into the library it sometimes loads the music as individual songs and not the cd as a whole. Is there a way to load the cd so all the songs are listed under the cd not as individuals? Thank you for any suggestions.
