Hotmail not syncing with email account on computer

I can't for the life of me figure out how to sync my hotmail that I sign in on the web, to my mail account on my actual computer. I get it to sync, but then when I delete something on the hotmail account through the webpage, it does not delete on the mail account on my computer. So l'm left with 100's of emails that I've already read or deleted back onto my email account with the computer. Any ideas? What's strange is that I've linked it to my iphone, and the iphone works just great. When I delete something off of there, it deletes it on my web account with hotmail. Need help please.

By any chance, did you have the Find My iPhone app installed prior to it being stolen?

You will need to connect it to a computer's iTunes, and you should then be able to reset it back to factory defaults : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212
If you don't have iTunes installed on a computer then you can download it from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
What do you mean 'not in sync with any account' ? Do you mean that you don't have a backup to restore back onto it, either on a computer nor in the cloud ? If not then you might be able to redownload some/all of your past purchases via the Purchased tabs in the store apps on it

Syncing is from a computer to a device, not device to computer. If you want to copy it from your phone then you should be able to do so by connecting it to your computer's iTunes and using the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option. Or you might be able to redownload it on your computer's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage.

Contacts sync with email account

Hi I have a quick question, i used to sync my contacts in my bb with [email protected], so on clicking Contacts and then pressing bb buttion then go to option then under contact list, earliest it used to show as default now its showing as [email protected], but now i have deleted this email account from my device but under contacts its showing as [email protected] and not as default. any suggestion y this is happening ????? thnks

Syncing with cloud-based databases has been problematic for me too. I synced to my Apple iCloud account to get my contacts on my new Q10 but after that initial sync it stopped working. I set up GMail contacts and it never worked. I've also tried Live/Hotmail contacts and got nowhere. BlackBerry Link doesn't sync my contacts on my Mac either. So I'm back to maintaining two contact lists - on my Q10 and on my computers. It wasn't so bad because I had to do that with every phone I've owned until I used an iPhone. As a Mac user the iPhone is a dream as far as syncing contacts and files with iCloud.

IPod Touch will not sync with iTunes on new computer

I recently got a new computer (Dell to HP, which shouldn't make any difference). I downloaded iTunes on the new computer and was able to get all my music, tv shows, and movies onto my new computer using a Flash Drive.
I have contacted iTunes help twice now and they have basically given me nothing to work with. I have all the updated software (2.2.1 or so), and I have restore my iPod Touch about 3 times because I was told this would work.
When I try to sync my iPod Touch, it tells me that it could not sync because certain songs "could not be found". I have every single one of my purchases and stuff from CDs on my iTunes and I just want this fixed so I can use my iPod Touch again.
My iPod is now empty except for a few applications and pictures that, for some reason, were able to get past all that and can be synced. If anyone has had this problem, please please please help me. I am getting very close to ripping my hair out with frustration and/or throwing my iPod Touch out of the window.

unless you do TWO (and I mean BOTH) things... 1) put the audio files in the same path as on the old laptop... and 2) copied over (or exported) library info, you will have to do something else... and all it is, is to tell the itunes to "add folder".
Once you add the folder, just consolidate it.
When I bought my new laptop, I had copied my music library and the extra account information. I restored the account info, but put my music in a different location (on a completely separate drive, which has saved me a few times since). So I had to change the preferences to point to the correct location, and it picked up ALL the songs.
I've since done a recovery on my new laptop a few times... and unfortunately I didn't save a copy of the account info (my old laptop has "glitched" out since, and I have no access to that info either). So even though my music is still there, I have to tell iTunes to "add folder", even though I changed the preferences to use that same folder as its library.

Email app not syncing Godaddy email accounts.

I have the S3 and approximately one week ago, the email app stopped syncing my 2 Godaddy email accounts. The email app for Gmail is still working.
I've gone into
Settings > Application Manager > All > Email > Clear Data
and then again setup my Godaddy email accounts. This then syncs all the email again and I will get all current messages in my mail spool. However it goes right back to not syncing anything new.
I've tried putting it in airplane mode as I saw a post that that may help, but no. I've also removed the battery and let it sit, to see if that had any affect, but again no.
Has anyone else ran into this and if so, what have you done to correct this.
I am aware of the godaddy app, however I'd rather not use this, I kinda prefer the native samsung email app.

If you search on this forum and compare popular web hosting providers like Bluehost, Hostgator and Godaddy you will see many users have such problems with their email apps. First it seems your problem comes from your cellphone. But it is surprising that I had the same problem when I had a web and email hosting account with Godaddy and their customer service couldn't solve my problem and finally I moved my email hosting account to Bluehost and the problem automatically was solved, without any action!
So I recommend to you and any other users with similar problems to change your email hosting provider. Now that you are unhappy with Godaddy I recommend to try http://www.bluehost.com or http://www.hostgator.com companies.
I have the S3 and don't have any problem with syncing my Hostgator email accounts. So If I were you first I'd try Hostgator.

IPhone Notes syncing with email???

I have two email accounts on my iPhone, one is me.com and the other is my colleges email account which uses gmail. Why is it that when I sync my iPhone with iTunes my notes always show up in my school's email inbox in Mail? I don't actually see the note(s) in my actual inbox, only in the inbox in Mail app.

Thank you for the fix, I've forever lost many, many important notes before I noticed they weren't saving. Furious at apple for changing the settngs but at least I've caught it now.

Have just upgraded iTunes to the latest version 11.1.4 and now my girls ipods will not sync with iTunes on the computer. Worked perfectly fine before this upgrade. We don't have Wiifii. Do I need to reinstall iTunes to an earlier version? Please help

After years of use, my ipod classic will not sync with itunes on any computer. I have wiped the ipod clean and it still won't sync. what to do?

I had about 80 songs on my ipod and it worked fine until one day i purchased some new music from itunes and discovered that it wouldn't sync. I tried various things and finally wiped the ipod clean thinking it would sync then. It doesn't and now I have no music on it. When I check for devices, the sync option is grayed out on itunes. I have used Firefox for years now and have used the option to sync, sign in and always be safe that I could get to my bookmarks (if and when fixed my computer and got a new one).... it has worked SO many times before.... I did it today too - and "signing in to sync" didn't give me anything at all! EVERYTHING is gone! most is personal stuff BUT I do to the university on a IT-education... I need my stuff back and I KNOW they should be there.... Where on earth did they go? More or less having a minor panic attack here... I have trusted firefox for years and.... Help me out here plz? This is not even funny :( Can anyone tell me what on earth is going in and why i CAN sync but EVERYTHING is gone?! :( I have done this several times and now....

I have tried all of those now and more but I can't get it it work. I have sync'ed several times on three different laptops I have owned and they all worked! everytime! and this time my computer just crashed - and now; here I am :/
When I tried to restore and found the restore/backup button - the only dates I get; is from after the crash happened :(
I sync my account, nothing show up. When I edit/customize my browser, it doesn't show me as sync'ed there beside 'exit-thing' - my email is only there in the menu :S
When trying to sign into "account.services.mozilla" - it won't let me either :S
I even thought I might've lost my password or something, that I lost my real sync info but nope - tried to reset that way too - but still nothing showed up :S

My ipod will not sync with itunes. The computer says its there but itunes does not. I've tried everything suggested. I keep getting an error message at the very end.

Here is the error message I get.
When iTunes does install, my ipod still won't sync because it's the wrong version. I've tried doing the version it suggests and still nothing.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.
