unfortunately it is not possible to restore the close button to have only one (customizable) close button on the Tab bar without using an extension.
The extension is necessary because you need to create a new toolbar button and bind the proper code to it to make the button act as a tab close button (command: BrowserCloseTabOrWindow()).

Acrobat 10 pro will not allow to configure presets..recent problem

I have been using Acrobat x pro for 2-3 years on windows 7 pro 64bit.
No problem until 3 mths ago.
1. When I try and reconfigure my presets for scanning ..it allows them to be saved but does not actually change them.
2. At certain times when I try I certify my documents with my preassigned certificate it loads other certificates for another program which requires them for an Internet verification of other applications,. I then have to find the Acrobat created certification files.

Please let me know whether you have installed the latest patch of Acrobat X i.e. 10.1.13 or tried repairing Acrobat (under Help menu) in the recent time.
Also, verify whether the scanner is working fine with other applications or not.
You might also need to install the latest scanner driver and then check.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can't (only) de-authorise computers you no longer have access to.
Your only option is to de-authorise all your computers and then re-authorise those you wish to be authorised. You can do this by logging into your account settings in iTunes on your computer (Store > View My ID) and selecting the option to de-authorise all.
Please note however, you are only permitted to do this once in each 12 month period, therefore you would be better de-authorising your computers before you lose access to them. you can do this from the 'Store' menu in iTunes.

Settings>Store: Tap the AppleID and choose "Sign Out", it will then prompt you to sign in and you can use the new AppleID.
NOTE: Apps must be updated with the AppleID they were purchased under.

If you haven't backed up to either your computer or iCloud, you can't get the message back. Let this be a lesson to either back your phone up to your computer or to iCloud (or both) regularly.

Was this an unusual mail message in any way, such as a message with a very large attachment? If so, it may not be permitted by the mail server.
If you mean that all of Mail.app is currently wedged, then option-click (and hold) on the Mail.app icon in the dock and (when the popup appears) select force quit.
If Mail.app is not wedged (and if it's just this message that's stuck), then ignore this and don't force-quit mail. Just Quit from mail.
Take your network offline. (If Mail.app is working, you can take all your mail accounts offline, but shutting off WiFi or removing your wired connection will work well enough for the purposes here.)
Relaunch Mail.app and select Mailbox > Rebuild from the menu.
Then select the Window > Connection Doctor from the menu, and see if any errors are reported.
Then nuke the message.
Then reconnect your network, or take your mail accounts back online.

Whatever version of Leopard you purchase, I suggest updating it to 10.5.8 which should have everything you require. To update Leopard download and install Mac OS X 10.5.8 Combo Update. Alternatively, open Software Update and install all the recommended updates. That will include the above updater.

Up graded to 4.o, now the google function upper left corner will not allow me to open previous sites. How can I correct this?

in the past all I had to do was single click on the previous sites I had visited and they would open up. Now that I have updated to 4.0 I click on them but they do not appear in the google window. I tried to copy and paste to main search bar but they will not let me paste either .

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox menu button if the Menu Bar is hidden.

You can hide or make the Menu bar visible via View > Toolbars or via Firefox > Options or right-click a toolbar.
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.
