Hour of text?

When I go to bed, turn off the phone and somebody, during this period that my phone is offline, send me a text, the hour of the text that I receive is the same when i turn on the phone, not when it was sent? Somebody can help me?

You could consider leaving the phone on and setting the profile to silent.

SMS Text to Landline - great idea - but not though...

I like the fact that texts can be sent to landlines. BUT unless you recognise the number, the sender texts their name, or you can work out who it's from, they can be pretty annoying.
Now that mobiles are so much more advanced people send texts out to contacts in their address book sometimes without thinking about or checking which number (home/work/mobile etc) it is going to. Companies using sms to contact clients are going to receive more and more responses into their landline and it will often be impossible to work out who sent the text.
As far as I can see the only options to control this are to limit the hours when texts are received or turn it off completely.
I would like to suggest another option to BT:
FORWARD THE SMS TO ANOTHER MOBILE SO THAT THE MESSAGE CAN BE VIEWED IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM.

I too have been recieving these annoying text to speech message calls, all from the same number and always the same message. They come through at the same time to my wife's mobile too... Each being an indentical message???
I've followed the instructions by dialing the 0800 number below and have managed to get what I wanted. However, recently they've started up again?????
When I ring said number to 'change' I'm informed that I've already selected to 'not recieve these' and yet they're still coming through!!!!
When it first started, I spoke to a human being who, once he established I wasn't a BT customer, didn't want to know!!!
But as it's YOUR service, I feel you have some responsibility to let us know how to permantly stop these nuisance calls!!!
Where do I go from here.... would somebody PLEASE help me!!!!

Text dimensions when importing fromPowerPoint

I import a LOT of PPT presentations into Keynote, and for the most part, the conversion is really good. One chronic problem that I keep running into, though, is that text items from ppt do not get the right dimensions in Keynote. Specifically, the width of the field is almost invariably too small, so the text in the object wraps onto 2 lines when it should have been one line. I suspect that part of this is due to font substitution, but is there any way to steer it or globally fix it after the conversion? I spend hours tweaking text field widths when I should be working on content....

The objects I am having trouble with are individual text items, the kind that you get when you click the Text item in Keynote. I think that what is happening is that the font metrics on the Powerpoint side are not being calculated correctly in the conversion, so the bounding box comes out too narrow for the text to fit in one line. I just looked at one random sample of this; the font was Arial Bold 14 point, and it was wrapping inside the text boundary that the conversion calculated. The bounding box was definitely smaller than it had been in the Powerpoint version, about 3 or 4 character spaces too small.
I reduced the font to 13 points and it looks right in this example, but in some places I think that would cause alignment problems. A global script-based solution might get me 90% of the way there, though, so I'll take a look at it.
Since this appears to be a miscaluclation of the bounding box, though, I think it is probably worth reporting as a bug, so I'll do that too.

I've run mx toolbox diagnostics, microsoft remote connectivity analyzer, exchange best practice analyzer and none of them have show errors other than a PTR record mismatch which shouldn't be affecting email coming through.
The frustrating thing is I'm getting a lot of email, I'm even getting email from these people occasionally, it's just happening enough that its a problem and it's not something I can personally replicate in order to test solutions.

Is it failing for all the domains mentioned or just one domain?
If it is one domain, try to find the mx record of the domain.
If its having a problem with all the domain, it should your dns server causing this issue.
According to the error message, "Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 5.7.1 Message rejected as spam by Content Filtering."
For this issue, please follow these steps to perform troubleshooting:
1. Please check whether we are using transport agent via following command:

If have, please disable them for testing.

Blocked and then unblocked phone, yet still has no signal

Two nights ago I thought my phone 4 had been stolen so I had it blocked, only to find it the next morning. I unblocked it and was told it would take 24 hours to go back on. However I was able to use it after a couple of hours, sending texts, going on the internet and ringing people. Then yesterday all of a sudden I am getting no signal. People have text me yet I havent received any and when I try to ring someone it instantly says the call has failed. I've already tried resetting my network settings but that hasnt helped, ive also left it off for several hours. I dont understand why I was able to use it and now can't

You need to define customised info structure for this.Then you need to pull together all these objects, damage, cause as characteristics into same field catalog.This will be Z field catalog and with this you need to define your customised info structure.This will append existing communication structure for reporting and used for report data updation in customised info structure.After this you need to define updating definitions to update info structure regularly.
at last you need to do statistical data set up for old data then normal data updation will happen.This is how standard SAP reports work.

We have one requirement that One input field with date type is there.When we take Date type input field then in web dynpro Date navigater is appearing by default.Our requirement is if user enters the date manually in the input filed instead of chossing the date from the Date navigator then how we will do the following date validations manually:
a. If user is entering the date in any format then it should convert it to dd.mm.yy format.
b. How to do leap year validation?Suppose user is entering   29.02.20007 then it should display Invalid date.
c. How to do the follwing date validation:
    Let's say that current running hours(Text Vie
w) on a given engine is 100, entered on 10-Jun-2008(Running hour date-Text view)).
-On 15-Jun-2008(New Running Hour Date-input field), I try to enter a value of 300 hours(New running hour-input field).
-This is impossible, because only 5x24=120 hrs has passed from the previous update.
-Hence, in this case the maximum value I can enter is 100+120=220.

Initially you will be storing the first date entered by the user right???
Say that date is D1. and user entered hours is H1.
now after some days at day D2 user again trying to enter some hours say H2. Now you have to restrict user from entering hours which are
greater than 24*D2-D1....
so now you have to get D2-D1....
For this....
long l1=youdate1.getTime();   // This will convert your Date D1 into long...
then,
Date d=new Date(System.currentTimeMillis());
long l2=d.getTime(); //which is a long value of current date...
So Now l2-l1 will give you number of days between past date and today's date...
So On Save you check for

Cbih82 "Accident details" - How to make older entries not editable

Hello Experts,
Is there a way in CBIH82 to set the "Accident details" long text field (under involved tab) in order that older entries cannot be modified?
What I'd like would be like in maintenance notifications. No Changes to Existing Long Text.
When someone add characters to the long text field, system automatically add a log line (a timestamp containing user + date + hour) before text and make the text unchangeable by anyone after saving. However, the long text can be supplemented, the older entries would be greyed out.
Is there a key in IMG or any other way to make the system behave that way? I want to prevent people erasing previous text enterred in that field.

This seems to be a genuine requirement, and even more when it can be seen available in the case of maintainance notifications. But, unfortunately this functionality is not available for "Accident details" long text.
The most you may do as an alternative is to utilize "Documents" functionality. The documents uploaded in this tab has inherent SAP DMS benefits, whereby you can track changes made to a particular DIR (administrative details). You may also make the documents password-protected for unintended access, However, you can not make older entries grayed out obviously.

After installing Leopard (10.5) extremely low battery life

Hi, so... I have an original MacBook Pro 15" that would typically get about an hour+ or so use (watching youtube or whatever) or 2+ hours (reading text) pre-Leopard.
Since installing 10.5 I get 20 minutes max. Something is seriously wrong. To prove it here is a screenshot I took after having it unplugged for 2 minutes. The battery is already at 75% and says I have less than a 1/2 hour of life.

I'm a sysadmin for a HigherEd Institution and have always coached my portable mac users on proper battery maintenance (conditioning, checking cycle counts and health, etc...). I've noticed a degradation of the battery in my machine lately, but I just attributed it to normal use and age. I only got this MacBook Pro in April '07 and already these are the stats I'm dealing with:

If I can't get better results in the next week, I'm going to have to call Apple. I'm just dreading having to round up all the machines at work to do quality checks on the batteries. I'm dreading even more having to possibly request replacements on them. Ugh...

Currency format based on selected operating unit

Hi all,
In My custom page i have a operating unit lov in header section.below of the page i have hourly rate text box.when user enters the amount and tab out it should be changed to the above selected operating unit currency format.please tell me your suggestions

Need Help Getting RealPlayer to Back Off!

Previously all my video clips were stored with a QuickTime icon on them... and when I clicked on them to view --they ran thru QT. But somehow/somewhere RealPlayer has TAKEN OVER all my video clips (which now appears as a white blank page of an icon) and when I click them to play them --they play thru RealPlayer.
That wouldn't be so bad but, RealPlayer (at least the free version I have) won't "loop" the video clips. I spent nearly an hour today texting with a RealPlayer tech to find that out!
SO, does ANYONE know how to make QuickTime the 'ranking' player of my video clips again, like it used to be?
Some setting must have changed somewhere, and I'd like to set it back the way it was before.

*Changing the application used to open all files of a certain kind*
1) In a Finder window highlight a file of the kind you want to change the application to open that kind of file.
2) While that file is highlighted, select File > Get Info or press command (apple or propeller icon) + i to get a file information window.
3) In the lower part of the info window there is an "open with" menu with a list of applications.
4) If your application is already in the box then it is the default application for opening that kind of file and you don't need to do anything more. Close the get info window.
5) If the application showing in the menu is not the one with which you wish to open the file then select a new application. If your application does not appear there then select the "other..." and track down the application (usually in the Applications folder at the main level of the computer).
6) If you wish to change all files of this type to open with this application in future, make sure the "change all" button is selected.

Insert data using row selector

Hi :
In my applicaion i need to insert only the selected data ie row
the query i am using is

html_db_item.text(1,pobj.name,20,25) "object Name",
html_db_item.text(1,null,20,25) "Incomming Hours ",
html_db_item.text(1,null,20,25) "Design Hours "
from projects pro.
project_objects pobj
where pro.id = pobj.pro_id and
pro.id = :p10_projects
here p10_projects is the project where for each project there would be 10 to 100 objects ie pobj.name
here i need to insert these object names and hours into anothere table where i need a row selector to select only selected objects and insert please suggest me
so as i select the rows only that need to be inserted

first change the query to sql updatable form and then add row selector to this report and try to select the 2nd row date picker ull find the problem wht i am facing
i need row selector becouse to select the date indivisually and insert them

Application becomes Not Responding on windows

Hi ,
My application shows "Not Responding" mesage in the title and the status bar, when its doind a lot of database updates in background (SQLite database).
Also, the screen of the app kind of hangs or goes white.
Any thoughts as to how to avoid the screen going white or showing "Not Responding" message. I have a ticker loading gif displaying on the screen already, which is not shown since the screen kind of hangs.
