Hourglasses in stead of pictures in the organiser overview screen

After importing pictures from a CF-card, I see inthe 'overview screen of the organiser' only hourglasses in stead of pictures.
Clicking on an hourglass give the picture, however after working with the editer on the picture, and saving the picture, the hourglass showz up again.
What to do?

As the link that RamKi let us know, this is a modification, so, I suggest to avoid. See SAP Note 862228 - Order reason for returns on item level for further information. I suggest to use the other enhancements in tabs.

Isn't that just exactly what transaction CO02 does? CO01 is for creating production orders so what sense does it make to have it display mode only?
Maybe your goal is to stop then end user changing the component assignment that is automatically detected by the system. If so, personally I think a better starting point would be PP configuration or user authorizations rather than looking to change the screen by whatever method. As we don't know what you are trying to achieve it's hard to offer much more advice maybe all you need is to change transaction to CO02

Adding an ABAP Webdynpro app to the ESS overview screen

I am trying to add an ABAP webdynpro page to the ESS overview screen, I have managed to add URLs without a problem and have found a tutorial to add Java Webdynpro pages however this does seem to apply to ABAP webdynpro.

what problem are you facing in adding.
you can create an iview for the WDA application and in the HomePage Framework you can create resources and services which will point to that iview and add that service to the ESS Overview.

Making the fields invisible or etc. at the item overview screen

At the header data of the sales documents, there exist incoterms and payment terms. I want to make those invisible at the item overview screen (under Billing Document tab). I just want those data root from the header data, not from the item data. I don't want to enter data (about payment terms or incoterms) on the item overview screen.

Thank you for your consideration but can you please explain step by step.
Also to be more clear; the incoterm datas of the sales document's items come from the customer master data. Person can change or enter data about incoterms although there may exist different incoterm data at the header. That's why I want to hide or make unchangeable the incoterm field at the billing document tab of item data.

MRP Area field in the stock overview screen (tcode MMBE)

Hi,
I am curious if there is a way for us to disable the system from populating the MRP area field in the selection screen in tcode MMBE? I checked this with a developer and he told me that the system assigns it based on the last transaction or last few transactions where the MRP area was used.
So for example, I am in tcode MD04 to look at a material for MRP area SLOC 0005. Then when I enter tcode MMBE, the system will immediately populate the MRP Area field as SLOC 0005. Is there a way for me to prevent the system from filling this field? I only want this field to be manually entered. It is because it is misleading and most end users won't even remember or bother to scroll down the screen all the time. I read that there were notes for this but all of them are for ECC 6 and our system now is on ECC 6 EHP 5.
Can you please help me with this? Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I have checked the thread below and I think the two options that I have are to use a variant or to do some modifications. I will check the latter with the ABAP resource. As for your 3 comments there, I don't think I will disable the history and I have tried the parameter value but it was not working. For some reason, the system was overwriting the empty value of parameter ID BERID. Thanks!

Troubles in editing the images from the organiser

Hi.
I have a problem: when I see a picture in the organiser and I make a right click to open it in the editor, the editor starts but then there's no image, the screen is sadly green. How do I get my picture back ?

Hi ,
Look s like the editor preferences are soliled. Please reset them. To do so , hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift when you launch Editor from the welcome screen (the splash screen that you see having two tabs Organizer and Editor). You will be prompted if you want to delete the settings file. You do. Click Yes and proceed. See if it works for you now. Are able to view the image in editor after opening from Organizer now ?

Position Profile Page Link Location from Organisational Overview

In the organisational overview MSS page we have links from the Position Holder inner iView. If the link to the position is clicked, it loads the position profile - but it uses the position profile oage located in standard content (as per the below link):

How is the destination Page changed so we can connect to standard content? Does it require FPM change, or is there another mechanism for determining it e.g. OBN, and if so, how can this be configured?

From what I read, FPM applciations cover the internal iViews only (i.e. that wiki discusses the internal iViews). What I am looking for is the outbound hook to an iView for another application (I guess this could be anything, but in this case it is the position profile). However, I could understand how this is used.
As we don't have the SSA BP (yet) I would like to confirm this is the steps we would need to take?
1. Is the information passed to the other link via the FPM application configuration like this?
2. If not, how are those links generated?

How do I transfer all my iPhoto library to an external drive without losing the organising

My iMac's internal drive is almost full - mainly with 25,000 photos accumulated over the last 10 years. These are carefully sorted into Events, Smart Albums, etc., and given titles, ratings, etc.
As my iMac is becoming rather 'clunky' with little space left, I want to transfer most or all of my iPhoto library onto a newly purchased 1TB external hard drive to be used just for photos / movies.
I already have another external hard drive linked to Time Machine backing up everything on the iMac.
I followed Apple's support team's instruction to create iPhoto on the new external hard drive (My Passport) - and then drag and drop the existing iPhoto library onto it from the Master file.
It's successfully copied all 25,000 photos into the new iPhoto library on My Passport, but I'm dismayed to find that all the original events, titles, etc. are now all shuffled up and haphazard, with all titles, grading, etc. apparently gone.
Fortunately I haven't yet started to delete the photos on the original Iphoto library on my internal hard drive .................. but surely there's a way to 'back up' my iPhoto library without losing all the hard work I've put into the organising & editing ............isn't there ???

Don't know who told you that but it would be difficult to be more wrong.
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

How do I stop PE automatically including edited images into the Organiser?

I use the Organiser to keep track of my original raw photographs. I have many thousands of them, so I don't want to clutter up the organiser with the edited versions I produce later on. However, whenever I edit an image, PE automatically includes it in the organiser, and I have to delete it. Also, there are times when I'm working on graphics - labels, invites, cards etc - which also get included in the Organiser, adding to the mess. Is there a way I can turn this feature off?

Thanks for your reply, dj_paige. As to why I only want the originals in the Organiser - well, call it an old man's whim. I've been creating images for longer than I care to remember and for the last 25 years my career has been in digital animation and effects, so I've spent a quarter of a century faking things with pixels.
But when I take a photograph, that's real. That actually happened. If the sky isn't very blue in the picture, it probably wasn't very blue on the day. Sure, like anyone else I use PE to make beautiful edited versions for my family and friends, but the original raw files are the record of my life, exactly as it was, and the Organiser is my journal. When I scroll through the pictures (I guess there are about 50,000) I don't want to see anything fake.

PSE not saving edited files to the organiser

For no apparent reason my PSE 11 application seems to have developed an annoying glitch whereby part way through an editing process it stops doing as requested in the "Save" options, by not saving edited files as version sets of the original file in the Organiser. The files are saved OK to My Pictures and I then get advised that a file is available to import and I have to import each one, stack it with the original, and put the edited file on top. This is driving me nuts as I have about 1000 photos to edit. What is causing this problem? My only thoughts are that I have c.30000 picture files in the Organiser (but this hasn't caused any problems in adding new files) and that the problem seems to have arisen since I started editing files directly from within an Album.

After restoring to factory settings/new iPod you will then have to restore from backup
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:

Open your Photos App > Camera Roll > At the top right corner you will see a rectangle with a right arrow, select that. Now you can select as many photos as you want and you can hit the red Delete button on the bottom right.

I can not see the pictures in the photo pane

I'm trying to see my pictures in the photo pane (the media section in iMovie) but I can not see them. I know that I have to have iPhoto 4 or later. I have iPhoto 6 but I can't still see the photos. Can you help me?????

If deleting the pref files didn't help, then it's likely a problem in the iPhoto albumdata.xml file. This is the file that other apps must read to access your library. It usually goes bad due to a problem keyword in your library. Look for non-ascii characters in your keyword list. One user had an empty keyword that caused this problem.
