Actually, there seems to be a bit of a bug. Encountered this with a couple of files my wife made. The files were set to "open with" the new Keynote, but clicking the file brought up this error. Right-clicking and selecting "open with..." worked correctly. I can only assume the OS was attempting to open the file with Keynote '09 despite the file property setting.
Probably requires a Launch Services DB reset (although I haven't actually tried it on my wife's MBA yet...since she's still "working on stuff". So I can't confirm if it will solve the problem).

Calculations in Page /Dashboard Prompts in OBIEE doesnt work for me .

Iam trying to create a Custom Aging Report instead of using the OOB Aging report . In the report I created column ( only at this report level) "% of Outstanding Amount in AR Past Due 1- 30 Days" by changing the "Fx" and Now I can see the $$ amount that customer has due as well as how much % is that in the total Outstanding Amount. The report is coming good. Now I have a business requirement that the groupings such as 1-30 , 31-60 , 61-90 , and 90+ should be given in dashboard prompt . I could create 1-30 , 31-60 , 61-90 but 90+ ( 91-180, 181-360 , 360+) prompt is not working as I tried to concat these three groupings and iam getting the error message as " Un resolved column error , Concat Function does not support." and other thing when i tried to create a calcualted % prompt even that is giving me error message as " Unresolved colum. I think the Calculations doesnt work for Dashboard prompts ..but iam not sure ..May be Iam missing somethg , Can anybody pls help me in getting this fixed . How to create a calculation for page/Dashbaord Prompts ...I tried using the sql too but still it gives the error.

In your dashboard prompt properties you need to tick the 'Constrain' box for all the columns that you want be constrained by the other choices, e.g Year, Quarter, Month.
Only tick Product Name / Order Name if you want these to be constrained also but bear in mind it could cause a performance delay if you are having to join tables to get the constrain.

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Cick: Remove all website data
Then empty the Safari cache. Command + Option + E
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

click folter + assign greater than equal to + given default
DATE11 is greater than or equal to @{pv_time}{17-AUG-10}
AND HR is greater than or equal to @{pv_hour}{10PM}
when i clicked on 18-aug date and 10am time, it says no results

Page Spawning - Prompting For Number Of Pages

I asked a similar question a few years back and at the time, the project went by the wayside. Well, the project is back on track and now I'm in a jam and need to use some javascript for some easy automation. Here's the situation. I have a form with a hidden button that allows persons who know where the button is, to spawn the current semplate into additional pages, while renaming the approzimately 400+ form fields on each page. As it currently stands, the user needs to click the hidden button each time to spawn a new page. This is kind of cumbersome considering, I need to generate approximately 200 pages at a time. Here is the current code (culled from any of a number of web pages) that works for the single click page addition:

What I'd like to do is have the button "click" (mouse up) produce a dialog box that asks the user to input the number of pages needed to be spawned. I'm not concerned about page numbering as I have a separate means for doing that, once all the pages have been spawned. Clearly, I am not a javascript programmer, so, if someone is willing to help, it's going to have to be usable code that will require only minor tinkering, if any. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm using Acrobat Pro X. There was an MVP named George Johnson who tried to help me back them, but quite honestly, Is imply didn't know how to tie it all together. He suggested using the following code in generating the dialog box (obviously, text is not geared toward my document). Can someone show me how to tie all of this together?

A while back, you assisted me with the following code (see below), which was used to spawn a multi-page document. By the way, the code was just what the doctor ordered, thank you! I am now faced with another issue while spawning this document. I have one field (show_num) which I need to prevent from renaming, when the document is spawned. All other fields, rename perfectly, as desired. I now will be utilizing this show_num field, which was previously just a place holder and not used. Is there a way to have the field remain the same name as the pages are spawned? In other words, I'm looking to have the user type a "show number" on the first page and have it immediately populate in the same field on all pages (i.e. 1026-022). This number would then populate on all pages in the "show_num" field. Here's the code I'm using to spawn the pages:

Airport: Web page changes prompts "Airport: Scanning...." and slow access

This has been an issue for a while. Every time a new page is loaded, the airport does a scanning and eventually the page will load. This also causes some issues with ichat or YIM and server access.
Not sure if it hardware or software

Don't know what could have happened to produce the sudden slowdown. Wireless interference from a new network in the area? New cordless phone? New security system at the neighbors? Aging AirPort Express?
If you've tried a "hard reset", this does not erase all of the settings on the AirPort Express, so it might be worth a try to do a Factory Default Reset. Then you start fresh with new out-of-the-box settings.
Pull the Express from power
Hold in the reset button +and keep holding it in+ as you plug the Express back in to power
Release the reset button after 8-10 seconds
If you still have problems download Air Radar and use its Scan function at the lower right of the main window to get a look at all of the "visible" networks in your area.
Air Radar is not free, but there is a free trial period. If you see any other network on a close adjacent channel, change the channel on your wireless to a setting that is as far away as possible.

How to prevent the "are you sure you want to leave this page?" prompt on Facebook?

I'm using Firefox 35.0.1. If I make a post on my Facebook timeline that contains a link, when I hit "Post" and the page goes to refresh to add my post to my timeline, it asks if I'm sure I want to leave the page. I've seen that messages on some sites before, for example, if I'm on a forum and I write a post and go to leave the page before hitting submit, it'll ask me that, but I've never seen it on Facebook until a couple of days ago.
Is there any way to turn this message off? Or even better, can it be turned off just on Facebook? Thanks.

Prompt Propagation Issue across dashboard pages in a dashboard

I have a issue of prompt propagation in a dashboard, that is the various dashboard page prompts use same presentation layer column then the prompts are taking the filter values filters on each other dashboard. Even if I try to change the scope of each dashboard prompt to only dashboard page only the value propagates to next dashboard page.
I cannot redesign the whole dashboard as it will need lot of effort , I have implemented a fix for now but I am searching for some java script code which I could invoke using OnPageLoad event to clear and reset all the page prompts to defalut values.
Can you guys let me know if you have any java script like this.

Once more I am writing down the issue:
On a dashboard is multiple dashboard pages multiple prompts, but if there are some prompts common between those dashboard pages which basically shares the same column formula, then these dashboard do propagate their values from one dashboard page to another.
Even setting the dashboard page prompt scope to page only cant stop this values propagation issue form one dashboard to another.
I know to fix it I will have to redesign the whole dashboard but that will take lot of time and effort starting from RPD to Reports.
is there some fix to fix it in the OBIEE Answers itself without touching the RPD. I cant try changing the column formula with case statement as then the case will flow in the report query and it will not use the index defined on the columns.
Please let me know if some one can throw some light on this.

Prompt settings being passed between Dashboard Pages - Can this be stopped?

I have a dashboard with 4 pages. Pages 1 and 2 share the exact same prompt, page 3 has its own prompt but within that prompt it has a field that is common with the prompt on pages 1 and 2. Page 4 has its own prompt as well with some fields that are common to the prompts on pages 1 - 3.
All prompts are included in their own section on the dashboard pages. All prompts have scope set to 'Page' in their settings.
If I go to page 1 and enter some values into the prompt and then run the report everything looks good. But if I click on the tab for page 2, all the prompts are carried over from page 1 and the report returns results for those inputs.
Similarly if I run page 3 (which is a completely different prompt) and enter some values and run the report and then click over to page 2, the page 2 prompt uses the values for the common fields from the page 3 prompt.
Ideally, if a user clicks on a new tab I would like it the prompt to be initialized with nothing (especially since I set scope to Page). I think it can be confusing if a completely different prompt has its values carried over to another pages prompt just because they share a field.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

The only way to do this is set the Scope of the prompt to Page and not Dashboard ... are you setting any values of the prompted columns in these prompts - if you set a presenataion variable in prompts 1 or 2 then don't use it to preload the the columns on prompts 3 or 4. Curious - what do you have the defaults set to? Report defaults? Specific Value? etc.
Also: I notice you reference the 3rd prompt as being Scoped at Page - what about prompts 1 and 2? All 4 should be scoped at page ...

We have an ADF11G application running on weblogic 10.3.2.0. After using the application for 2-3 hours, the page rendering time increases. Looking at the JVM performance graph from the enterprise manager, I found that the JVM memory usage are 1.8 GB, we have allocated 2 GB of memory to the soa_server1 on which this ADF application is deployed.
I'm surprised why this much memory is consumed. Can anyone please point out what could be the issue. Is the ADF11G components which are consuming so much memory?
Our Manager server soa_server1 also has BPEL components deployed on it. Is it advisable to use a separate managed server for ADF applications or it is very normal to use ADF and SOA components deployed on the same managed server?

Twitter is not playing nice with Firefox master password feature. That's dumb, unsecure and serve no purpose at all. Twitter has bad programming issues.

Displaying Dashboard Prompt For All Pages..

I want Show Prompt In All Pages Of Dashbaord Like Column in Right hand side means we navigate any page that prompt showing as column For every Dashboard Page.
whn i place prompt in dashboard it will show only one page.

You need to add it manually to each page. Or else add this to one page and copy the same layout to other pages using catalog manager.

How can I disable prompt to ask viewers to dload Flash?

Thanks to this forum, I now have a Flash video on my website. And I'm on a mac! Now, here' s my latest problem.
When I added the Flash video, there was a selection in Dreamweaver where, when clicked, the page will prompt viewers who don't have the latest flash version to download it. Way cool.
However, when I select "Insert" "Media" then "Plug in" and I add a quicktime video, I can view the quicktime video, only this prompt still appears asking viewers to download flash, and when I add the video, there doesn't appear the same selection asking if I want to prompt viewers to download Flash or Quicktime. So, what is the code to disable that function from this page?
Also, if you know the code to prompt viewers to download quicktime, that'd rock. BUT, I posted a message on the apple message boards, 'cause I realize that's their focus.

What I'm trying to do is this...
I have one page where I have a flash video. On that page, when a user doesn't have flash installed, the page correctly asks if they'd like to install it.
I also have a page with a quicktime video. I'd like it so that if a user doesn't have quicktime, the user is asked if they'd like to install it. As it is now, the page asks if they'd like to install flash. I don't want it to ask if they'd like flash, and don't see any settings in dreamweaver to turn off that feature. It automatically added it, even though I added a quicktime plugin to the page. How can I turn that off, that is, so it doesn't prompt viewers to download flash? If it's a matter of removing code, I can do that, but how will I know what flash code looks like? Please help.
