How add new field in layout in RDF using XML report definition

Hi, ALL
Do you know how add new field in layout of existing report in RDF using XML report definition. If I try change anything in RDF layout, layout which defined in XML override report layout.

in reports 6i we have this limitation, that you can not add a field to a report unless you re-default the whole report, as we do not support positioning-information in the customization file.

I am trying to add new field to Opportunity, TCODE : CRMD_BUS2000111 ) using EEWB.

Business object BUSINESS_TRANSACTION,
Extension type ADD_NEW_FIELDS
Business Transaction Type : CRM Opportunity
Assigned to : Customer Header data.
I am able to generate project and extension successfully. But don't see any new field or custom tab added to transaction for Opportunity ( TCODE : CRMD_BUS2000111 ).
WHEN I CHECKED BACK IN EEWB, DON'T SEE ANY SCREEN OBJECT IN OBJECT LIST.
I can see Tables, Function group, Function Module, Data Element in object list but Screen object is missing. I believe that's the reason why new screen field not has been added. But not able to find out the reason for that.

Hi Minal,
I would suggest to create a new extension with the following:
Create new extension, but use the Enhancement type: "Extend Opportunity"
When you create just two new fields with "ADD_NEW_FIELDS" you have to manually add them into the existing screens.

Requirment to add new field in kna1 and maintiane using XD02

i have a requirment need suggestion on that
1) the requirmen is to add a new field email id on kna1 standard table
( it can be done by append structure pls give me full steps to do it and complication involved in it)
2) now is it possible that user able to maintiane this new field by using Tcode XD02
will it be visible there if we use a new zappend structure and how the data will be populate in that field by Xd02 do any change required in Xd02
3) we have to create another tcode for display of these threee fields kunnr name1 and email id that will be done by moudle pool again so is there any compication in thati method later is above steps are done

my main problem in this is that
since we are using append structure how data wil be populated in the kna1 table in this new field email id?
as we need to find some user exists to do so as it is a structre not a field so population of data is a problem in that?
2) and wheter i should new ztable but customer is asking to add in the standard table and maintian by some xtransaction whetehr it is possible or not?
#) also can us suggeest on the primary keys i should give for t his data types and records as pasted below if i create a new table and should i check init check box also?

How add new field as primary key for existing table

Hi,
There is table with name REVIEWER_REUSE_EFFORT and the table has 8000 rows in it.
Now the enhacement i must do on this table is there is no primary key on this table. so i must create a ID also add values to this table of ID
Table structure is like this
Create table REVIEWER_REUSE_EFFORT
PRO_ID number,
POBJ_ID number,
TASK_ID number,
POTENTIAL_EFFORT number,
COMMENTS varchar2(1200),
CREATED_BY varchar2(100),
CREATION_DATE sysdate

Please suggest me how to add values in that 8000 rows

If you want to add a new column and update the new column with sequence of number
alter table REVIEWER_REUSE_EFFORT add (ID number);

You need to have your own report. This system report is hard coded. You do not have option to add fields there.

I have a req to add new fields from a table ZCS_ENGINE to the report RCATS_DISPLAY_ACTIVITIES .
I copied the program and create a Z report ZRCATS_DISPLAY_ACTIVITIES , but i am facing difficulties to add new fields
to the fieldcatalog.

Hi,
How do I add new fields to Repeating Frames in existing Report. The Report has 2 GRPFR, 1 HDR and 2 Repeating Frames. I would like to add a new field(column) to inner most repeating frame. I added the new golumn to QUERY and GROUPs in Data Model. After adding the new column to inner most Repeating Frame in Layout Model, the Layout model is losing all other frame and it is showing only the modified one.
How do I add new column to repeating frames without disturbeing other frames.
Any hellp will be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!.

you must work in your layour editor
expand your repeating frames do it more big
for add your new items or field. after you inserted or add, can you put more little your repeating.
too can you to do one copy of one field in your repeating frame and assign it in his source your new item in your data model.
normally i begin with the principal frame and go one by one internally.

I think of something like:
First, you create extension, with transaction WE30.
Then, reduce your idoc, your extension should also be proposed.
Do not forget to add this extension in outbound we82, and/or we57 in inbound, and WE20, and find BTE or exit to populate extension.

when created added a field on the screen by using user exit then after that you have add the field in main table where you will be getting these table in the userexit only, please make sure about this. And i am sure defenitly it will get updated in to the table.

11.5.9/OAF 5.7 : how to add new fields in iProc "search results" page

We need to add new fields into iProc "search results" page - "Personalize Self-Service Defn" is et, we can enter the personalization screens (from both the "master" link at top/right page level or from the link above the region) - anyway cannot find how to add new fields. Do we have to go to AK developer and/or XML files or is it feasable from OAF (as it is with 11510) ? TIA.

It depends on what fields you want to add.
1. If Oracle has included the fields, just render them via personalizations
2. If they are brand new fields:
a) you will need to extend the VO (I do not know the exact name).
b) change the query to get your extra db columns if necesary
c) add transient attributes to the VO and map them to b).
d) Then you need to add the items via personalization and map them to the attributes you created in c)

What kind of report? Usually, you have to add the field in the table declaration and then also in the SQL query. After that, include the field in what kind of report you are using.

make append to tables in se11 - CCMBP1FIELDS, CCMBP2FIELDS
in spro in Define customer-specific search control -> mark fields with X.
and enhance html template CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY. -> tcode smw0, look for package CRM_CIC_COMPONENTS for html CRM_CIC_SEARCH_DISPLAY. export it from SAP, edit, and import.
you will need to enhance function module used for searching - you will find him in spro in Search Strategies.

Hello Ravi,
I must respcetfully disagree(with other posts) that it is not possible to extend CEPC. In our system we have added an append with two new fields to CEPC. Now, that was the easy part. You must also find a way to maintain those fields when creating and changing profit centres. To do this it was necessary for us to add a button to the create/modify screens. It was also necessary to find a few enhancement spots in order to make this work(and it still is not perfect). I am being very vague here because even though it is posible I would not recommend implementing this solution. It was very time consuming and could be risky if you miss something. There is a reason why you can find so little information in SDN and other places about how to do this. Other, including myself have tried but it was painful.
I know that this does not help very much.
