The logViewer executable can't be run without an enterprise install (at least not easily decoupled), however, an alternative, would be to pass someone the .jnlp and some log files.... To do this, open up the process admin, and in the top right, is a link for 'Launch Log Viewer'. Open that, and then go to 'File - Save As', and this will save a java executable to your computer.
I'm pretty sure you can pass that, and either an admin user and password to view 'live' logs, or just have them cancel the remote log, and open a local file....

PS: I don't see any opbmlogreader.exe or .sh or .bet in the OBPM_HOME\bin directory. I am looking at OBPM standalone, and the only relevant files I can see are obpmlogviewer.exe , obpmlogviewer.lax , lax.jar. Am I missing something?
MaxI too don't have the log reader, however I do remember it... I'm thinking the .sh might only be included in the linux distribution of enterprise, so I'm downloading that now to verify... I will let you know what I find...

Only the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Sounds like the phone was hacked to unlock it originally. Find out what carrier it is locked to, and look up their contact information using google or the search engine of your choice.

I have Airport Extreme as the base unit and an Express unit in a room separated by a brick wall to improve signal. Express shows a green light indicating signal but my iPad does not perform well. How can I improve other than hardwire ethernet connection?

For example, you might find that the brick wall is not the only problem. There may be other devices pumping out enough wireless interference to be making things even worse.
I agree with Bob Timmons that Ethernet is best and most reliable. And that powerline (which I use) is easier and potentially faster than wireless...but only if your power lines do not have electrical devices plugged in which produce electrical noise on the line. Powerline will be slower than Gigabit Ethernet.
Ethernet cable is the only way to ensure that the signal goes directly there in a shielded way for a clear fast signal. Wireless and powerline are much slower because of all the other things the signal has to fight past to get to the other device. -

1. I don't have that fat format I checked as I saw this on another answer...BUT...you are right the project was very bloated and I made a new project with the sequence and moved a bunch of projects off to an outside drive and things are flying again...this effect "twirl" was on three clips and this seemed to be creating a problem along with it being a bloated project. Don't know why this effect renders easily then the next second doesn't it's on three clips on the entire project and one or another might not render all of a sudden.
2. I understand what you said about the timeline export...I decided to export the sequence without the matte it was nested in and that sequence did have the chapter markers on the timeline and they again didn't export??? I'll look tomorrow at this it makes no sense if what you're saying is how to do it...the final cut pro book said they should have showed up if I export from the browser and that didn't work either.
3. I then matted that output and rendered it to output but I am worried this will degrade and compress the sequence more than I want by outputting the same sequence with current settings twice???...the couple of outputs I could make nested looked very good as this was one render...however, I tried doing a quicktime "current settings" with the dvd studio pro info still trying to export chapter markers and maybe it's my imagination but the output didn't look as sharp as just an output with just chapter markers???
r. I did look at the final cut pro book and it says that mpeg 2 movies will not read chapter markers anyway if you create one in compressor...if this is true it makes no difference if the quicktime output isn't having chapter markers show up. I assume when I go to author though I can put an mpeg 2 movie into dvd studio pro and create chapter markers at that point!! It seems weird it says it can do it with an mpeg 1 but not an mpeg 2 when everyone is using that for dvds. -

My trash won't empty since I upgraded to Lion.
Other than using rm -rf ~/.Trash/* in the terminal what can I do. Reparing permissions didn't hpl.

robinI have the same problem. I can put things into the trash, but when i empty the trash it makes the crumple noise like its throwing it away and the files stay in the trash and the icon stays full. I have 10.7.2. I also have Parallels installed on my machine.
Before this problem, I was unable to add files to my trash can and then I removed this program called CleanMyMac, which I guess wasn't compatible with Lion, and now I can at least add items to the trash can. It seems I am having a lingering issue due to that program.
I have a case with Apple Senior Support Analysts and they can't figure it out...
Please help!! I do not want to format and start all over just to empty my trash can
I also do not want to install Trash It (which would empty the trash i've heard) but will not resolve my issue only cover it up.

GroupPix has two methods for adding others: 'Email invite' and 'Scan Pass'
Email
Email invitations work great before the event, because they allow others to install the app and join the Group Album ahead of time. There are two ways to invite someone via email. First, you need to go into the Group Album you created by tapping its icon from the main screen ('Grouppix party' is the example shown below):
Then do one of the following:
1. Tap the 'Add Friends' button in the lower right corner, then tap 'Invite with Email'
2. Alternatively, you can tap the settings icon in the upper-right hand side to bring up the settings for the album, then tap 'Email Invite':
Enter the email address of the person that you want to invite, then tap the blue invite button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
If your friend does not have GroupPix already installed, the email contains a link to install the app from the App Store
If you friend does have GroupPix already installed, the email has a link to launch the app, or your friend can just launch GroupPix without the email, and accept the invitation directly in the program.
Scan Pass
You can use the Scan Pass feature to add someone to an event on the spot. You (as the Group Album host) and the person you invite, each follows these directions, respectively:
(You) Go into your Group Album, and tap the settings icon in the upper-right hand side to bring up the settings for the album, then tap 'Scan Pass' to switch GroupPix into Scan Mode:
(Them) After installing the app from the App Store, launch the app, then tap 'Join' to show their GroupPix Pass:
(You) Scan the other person's pass, carefully focusing on the square black and white code on the pass (circled in red above); once scanned, the other person will automatically be added to the Group Album, and photo taking can begin!If you are using icloud, make sure calendar is turned on. Then you can invite others when you schedule an appointment.

At this time, no, there is no way you can get the iPhone to display languages which it does not yet support, which includes Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Vietnamese, Devanagari, etc.

END;Why don't you use text_io? Don't forget that UTL_FILE is reading directories from the database point of view. The E drive for the database is a different E then on your client pc. I presume your database is on a different computer. Are you getting any errors?

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

Game won't sync with nano 4th gen
I bought iQuiz to my nano 4th gen and it clearly says that it is compatible with it, but it just won't sync. It won't even show up in the games tab. I've updated to the newest iTunes and I've updated the software on the nano but it still won't work.
