How and/or where do I write a review on an app?

where are the reviews written?

I'm having the same issue . .   I purchase an app, after which I can no longer read reviews on that app, nor can I access a link where I can write one, which is what I want to do.   ?

You need Lightroom 5.5 or later (the most current version is 5.7.1). This is a free update if you have already purchased an earlier version of Lightroom 5.

  • HT201991 How does one write a review for an app?

I would like to write a review for an app I bought from the App Store.
"Locate the item that you would like to write a review for."
Where? In the App Store via the internet (e.g. on my iMac), OR via the App Store button on my iPad Mini?
"Click "Write a Review" in the Customer Reviews section."
How? I could find no active link associated with the Customer Reviews section once I had located the item for which I wanted to write a review.
So the question remains "How does one write a review for an app?" … and, so far as things stand, the instructions provided in the page <http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3928> are, as far as I can tell useless. Certainly, the Apple website and associated instructions have become, for this long-time user, more akin to Microsoft Windows in their impenetrable lack of intuitive, user-friendly ccharacter.
Oh yeh. To add to my 'disgruntledness' … How come there is no iPad Mini option in the Product drop down below?
Where is Steve Jobs when you need him?!

I have been having this issue for months, now--at least 3-4.  I updated my credit card info on my account, thinking maybe that would do it, but NOPE--can't review a single thing I've ever purchased in iTunes--not from my iPhone 5, PC or iPad 2.  Ridiculous, at this point...just remove the ability to review at all, if this is how it's going to be. SO frustrating.

  • Can't Write a Review On Mac App Store

I purchased an application on the Mac App Store and I would like to write a review but it won't let me saying that "To review this app, you must have purchased it from the Mac App Store". I did purchase my app from the Mac App Store. Has anyone else had this happen or know how to get it working?
    Thanks,
    Rob

    Thanks for your reply.
I do it on my iPod.  In the App Store's description of the app, at the bottom just below the screenshots, I tap the button that states the number of reviews currently posted as to go read them, then I tap "Write a review".  When I did it I was asked for my password, which I entered, then I was asked for a pseudonym, as none had yet been created.  I provided the same as here (I want to use the same in both places), then I typed my message (number of stars, title, message), and tapped "Send".
Now, I have proof this has nothing to do with the app's manufacturer, as it's all handled and managed by Apple's App Store.  I tried doing the same again today but for another app, the Convert Units for Free app, which I'd just downoaded.  This is an app for which there are 4 reviews posted as of yesterday, and 2 as of today, for a total of 298!  So this app does receive reviews, unlike the other one.  So I tapped "Write a review", and, this time, I wasn't even asked for my password!  The Pseudonym line didn't appear either.  I wrote my review (chose a numer of stars, wrote a title, then the text), then tapped "Send".  I wasn't asked for my password then either.  Same **** result as yesterday!  Now when I come back and tap "Write a review" again, it brings back what I wrote.  Same result when I tap "Send" again.
So then, I went back to the iBig Ben Pro app, went into the reviews, and tapped "Write a review".  My review for that app came back in the editor!  Complete with my pseudonym on the Pseudonym line!  I tapped "Send" again, and still the same result.
In between these two experiences, I tried tapping "Write a review" for an app I hadn't downloaded.  It asked me for my password, as it did for the first app described here after I'd downloaded it.  I didn't proceed further.
This is really odd, and I think I'll take the concern to the Apple Store in the mall across the street (I heard the guys there are eager to answer our questions).  Not that I don't appreciate the answers I get here, quite the opposite, but I'd get to show an Apple person what happens before his eyes, which can't be done here.

  • Trying to write a review in iTunes App Store in.

im trying to write a review in the App Store and it keeps asking me for a nickname. I already have one set up and I'm signed in. Can't figure it out. Thanks for your help.

It seems to me that your nickname from the iTunes Store on a computer does not necessarily carry over to the App Store on the iPad.
So I suggest simply re-entering your nickname.  Surely there is no harm in doing that.

  • I can't write a review for an app in the App Store

I cannot write a review for an app in the App Store. Every time I try, there's a message popping out saying " in order to write a customer review for this item, you must have purchased or downloaded it first". But I already downloaded the app. Please help.
    P.S The app was Mathletics.

I have the same problem with 2 other apps from the same developer, in my case Restaurant Story and Fashion Story. No problems with other apps. That means something... TeamLava is the culprit.

II recently purchased this 21.5 inch iMac in the month of February. The woman that helped me through the process of purchasing this told me that it comes with the latest Mountain Lion. which it did, but i cant write a review in the app store! Help...

You want to write a review about Mountain Lion? I'm not sure that you can write about the OS at the app store - it's not an app. Or are you talking about the online Apple store? If you want to send feedback to Apple, you could use this:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html

  • Why my full name appears when I write a review for an app?

When I write a review for an app, my full name appears! I would like to use a pseudo but it seems that I can't!
Does somebody have/had the same problem?

I just wrote a review to see what happens.  The name under your review will be the same name as it appears in this forum.  Only way to change that is to create a new forum account with the name you would like to appear in the reviews.

  • Why won't won't the system allow me to write a review about an app?

I paid for and downloaded an iPhone app.  I've also sent the app as gifts.  Yet, the system keeps telling me I can't write a review unless I've either paid or downloaded.  I tried to review from both my laptop (where the app resides in ITunes) AND my iPhone (where the app also appears.)

Ceck, if your Mac can run 10.7.5
    http://support.apple.com/kb/SP629
    or 10.8.4:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/SP654
You'll find all technical data in the Apple Menu.
If your Mac can run the System, buy the System at the AppStore. Mt. Lion will be directly available. For Lion visit an Apple Store and buy a thumbs drive installer.

  • I can't write a review for an app I got as a gift

My brother sent be an app for my birthday and it was super. I wanted to write a review but I got a message that said I had to either own or have downloaded the app.
But I have downloaded and I own it.
    Anybody know why I can't

  • Can't write a review for an app I downloaded

I downloaded 'Hospital Story' and want to write a review.  I've tried both on my iPhone and MBP.  It won't let me write a review stating that I first need to purchase the app.  I am currently playing the game on my iPhone, and when I log into iTunes on my MBP it shows downloaded.  Any ideas?
    Thank you

  • How and from where can I download the dom API?

I'm looking to use the functionality in the dom API, to convert a html document to dom and then traverse it and pull out any information I require from the tree-like dom structure. I've been told that the best way to do this is to use the dom package, but where do I get it from? Because it is not incorporated into the standard Java 1.4 that I have on my machine.
    Any help would be great.
    Cheers
    Anjum

I don't believe it works at all in 1.4 other than the simple
"get the title of the html documnent" example they show.
Bug 4803577 aggregates all the dom bug reports. There are alot.
This bug report indicates the fixes are in 1.5.

  • How and from where the agent picked up

    Hi,
When a standard leave workflow is started, how the next approve wil be picked up, meaning  is the manager of the employee will be picked as approver, in that case that employee should be assigne to a manager and also to a organization?
In PTARQ transaction theer is field  'Next processor', if i gave teh another pernr no, does approval goes to that employee
in my case, i have taken an employee and sassined a manager to that employee, but still for 'approval process step' it is showing as no agent avialable.
Note: i have made agent assignment as a genera task for all the tasks
    Thanks,
    Krish.

    Hi Kishore,
For leave Approval, by default the approval will go to immediate Supervisor. If the supervisor not assigned to that Employee, then you will get a message 'No Agents'.
In the PTARQ, using the Determine Approver you can check the Approver. If you want to change the Approver to someone
then you have to look at the BADI PT_GEN_REQ.
    thanks,
    Viji.

  • How and/or where would I enter in an explaination of a correct answer in adobe captivate 6

    Example"
    One plus one is
    a 2
    b 4
    c 6
    d none of the above
    Answer 2
Explaination: If you add a single object to another object you now have two objects.
Can this be done in the review area or can I create some type of widget tho show up either at the bottom of the page or next to the correct answer?

Use the feedback captions.  In the case of Multiple Answer questions, you can use the Advanced Answer option for each answer to give a different feedback caption.
