How are different user names being created on my Apple ID accounts??

I can no longer access the Guest Account on my IMac running Snow Leopard. Guest account says I have the wrong pwd? Funny thing is I never gave it a pw! Once before I found the Guest Account configured in a lower layer IFrame with several missing programs from my personal account being used by it. No one else has physical access to my Imac, although I often see activity and references to Remote Desktop in my logs and source files.
Recently had to have a FirmWare PW removed from my IMac and I've never set the fw pw in the first place. After the firmware reset when I got home and turned it on first time, tells me it doesn't recognize my administrator /user pws? Can these strange but true issues be related? Am I hacked? If so how do I begin to untangle it all? I did go ahead and set the FW password this time as I don't want anyone else to set it for me and have to go through that ordeal again. Is this something I should do, or not? How else can I protect my IMac, from these rogue changes and settings/menu/program alterations that keep happening. these things seem to happen in spite of several virus, anti spam, security programs I've installed; or any other security steps I've always tried to follow to prevent being hacked.
Started to reinstall Snow Leopard from original disc this evening and Utility tab shows two other volumes installed, that's three total; one being Boot Camp, the other Untitled. I never installed any of these except SL from the original disc. It appears I neither have full access to these other 2 partitions as the i button only shows partial information. Also the verify permissions, users, etc buttons do not allow me to repair, or do anything with these other volumes. Now I'm afraid to try and use the os disc without someone's more knowledgeable guidance, and/or wisdom. I've already made 2 trips to local Apple Store, plus the 3 hour round trip to authorized tech center to get the FW pw reset, so I'm hoping someone on the forum might be able to help me out this time .. argh!

Not to alarm you, but it does seem somebody got nto your Mac Remotely.
Disconnect from the Internet & try reinstaliling the OS... can you afford to erase & install?

Welcome to the Apple community.
iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID.

How do you do a quick transfer of data from one TX to another TX with different user name

I have more than one TX and want to keep most of the information, addresses, media, calendar as well as third party software the same on all my TX's. Is there a way to do this without the long hassle of exporting all that can be exported, and then importing it into each TX. Then adding all the third party software again? I have a new TX and remember how long this takes, so I am hoping for a faster method. I already know how to do a transfer if using the same user name, but this won't work when each will have a different user name in order to hotsync.
This may be a different question. All the TXs will be used and will sync to the same computer via USB, and all are on the Palm Desktop. I want to use them interchangeably. I would also like to keep the information current on all of them, as I now must copy paste any new info (ex. new address) into each via either palm desktop, or beaming to the others. Often this leads to discrepancies of the data between the different TXs.

You might look into a program called "SyncUs" from an author in the UK. It will keep all the PIM data synced between two Palm OS units.

SSO through the BOE repository manager for different user names.

Hi all.
I have a task to provide a SSO access from Portal to the Crystal reports, stored in the BO folder.
I've configured everything following the configuration guides, including:
1. SSO by SAP Logon Ticket with the back-end system.
2. System in portal SLD. Connection tests passed successfully.
2. BusinessObjects Enterprise repository manager (BOErm) in KM.
I've created in the Portal a test user with the same name as in the back-end system. Everything works fine.
But I SSO doesn't work if users are different.
The problem is that production users have different names in the Portal and in the back-end system.
I cannot find how can I configure user mapping for access reports through the BOErm.
I changed the Logon Method in the portal system from SAPLOGONTICKET to the UIDPW but it didn't help.
Seems like BOErm doesn't use the portal system at all and always connects to the back-end by SAPLOGONTICKET method.
Can anybody help me to solve my problem?
How can portal users access folders in the back-end system where they have different users names?

just to clarify it a bit more.
You have a SAP EP woth SSO to BO. Whats the Datasource ? R/3, BW, CRM ?
Usually the names of the users are identical on the SAP EP and the Backend like BW.
You just have to confiure SSO (like you did), import the roles from BW to BO, grant permissions on EP (that the users/roles can see the iView), grant permissions on BO (that the users/roles have access to the report) and you should be fine.
Where is the mismatch of the Usernames ? Between SAP EP and Backend like BW ?
SAPLOGONTICKET is the only authentication method you can use between SAP EP and BO

User profiles being created on the CAS

After a recent disk space warning i noticed that under the C:\Users folder there are a large number of user profiles in there. There is really nothing in the profiles except for shortcuts that show up for any account created. Now i know there should be one for each account that actually logs into the server however all my users are getting folders in here, not just the admins who log in.
We have 2 CAS servers load balanced running on Server 2008 Sp1 64 bit.
The creation dates of these folders very from the day we went live with exchange 2007 to yesterday. There are different user folders on each of the 2 CAS servers.
Each user folder shows up in the User profiles app as: Name "domainname\username" Size "2.89MB" Type "Local" Status "Local".
I did notice that my user account as well as some of the other IT staff user accounts do not have folders in here and we user Outlook 07 and Webmail.
We do have some users using Outlook 03 as well.
The CAS is not doing anything other then running as a CAS\hub transport roll.
Any thoughts on why this is happening or is this normal?

Its nice to know it's not just me.
I am curious though as to why this is happening, why some users have a folder and some don't and what the purpose is. While this doesn't really hurt anything it is taking up over 200MB of space on the C drive of each of my CAS servers.

IMac - can it work with 2 people using different user names?

My wife and I each have IPhone and IPad. We are buying a new IMac. We have different user names. Will we both be able to download pictures but keep our email and messages separate?

Keep in mind that only one user who has Administrative rights is the Master Account holder on your Imac. I thought it would have been whomever is the original account signed into the machine... Wrong!
My Imac was a birthday gift from my husband who I later learned had full Root Account control of my Imac, and everything I do, type, or surf on the Internet. Wish someone would have warned me. Later after several blocked menu and program issues and after finding parental controls set on my own user name, and several other glitches I was informed by Apple Care tech support that I was NOT the Master Account holder for my Imac and they refuse to give me the Account Master's name! My husband adamantly denies that he is behind this criminal act and the issues have only grown worse with time? Go figure as to how one can begin to resolve this all but after reading your question I just wanted to put this out here for your awareness in this situation, as it does apply.

Since the Apple ID does not have a username, I suppose you mean different e-mail-adresses?
In theory, this is not a problem, but of course it can be difficult if you want to keep things separated. For example, logging in with you Apple ID will automatically set up iCloud and sync your calendar, reminder, notes, mails etc. You can disable this syncing on your daughter's devices, but then they won't be able to use functionalities unless they create their own accounts (for example set up another email account). I think (but I am not 100% on this) they will be able to create reminders/notes etc. locally on the iphone.
If you mean app-wise or legal-wise: No, this is not an issue. You can use your Apple ID and the apps you bought on up to five different devices. Still, for simplicities sake and to give everyone their share of privacy I personally would suggest different IDs for everyone.

Record of the user name that created a payment proposal (F110)

I would appriciate your help with a question I have regarding the payment proposal process (F110).
I am trying to find where the system keeps a record of the user name that created the payment proposal.
I saw this field only in the table REGUA (Change of payment proposals: user and time),
but I didn't see it for regular payment proposals (not in REGUH and REGUP).
In general, My goal is to be able to check that the user who is creating the payment run is different from the user who created the payment proposal.

In F110, display the payment proposal log. Shift+F7.
in the heading line 'ob log overview for job' you can see the job name.
say 'F110-20110104-FR4NA -X'
if it is F110-20110104-FR4NA -X / 05170400, you have to take the part before the slash that is F110-20110104-FR4NA -X
Go to SM37, enter this in the job name. Enter * in the user id. Enter the date , on which payement run was done.
Then execute. YOu will see, who has run the proposal or payement run in the resulting screen.

How do I get the user name and password for the Apple Extreme Router to set up my Slingbox? It will not accept the Apple Extreme Name and password.

The AirPort Extreme does not have a User Name, but it does have a device name and device password, which you may have already tried.
There is also a Wireless Network Name and Wireless Network Password for the AirPort Extreme, which might be what the Slingbox is looking for if you are trying to connect it to your wireless network.
There are no other "user names" or "passwords" on the AirPort Extreme.
You established the device name, device password, wireless network name and wireless network password when you originally configured the AirPort Extreme.
If you cannot remember these, you will need to perform a Soft Rest to reset everything. Follow the instructions in this Apple support document:

you need to negotiate Authentication in ur applet code...
          For example:
          If u r using Form based auth u need to send Post a request with j_user_name &
          j_password to the action j_security_check. and when server returns back the
          cookie
          u need to hold it and pass that cookie to the each and every request made to the
          protected application.
          Basically u need to imitate the browser.

Songs purchased under a different user name and transfrered to a new computer.

I have several hundred tunes that were purchsed from itunes under a different user name and password and email. I have transfered those to a newer computer and have the library. When I try to play (some) of them (not all) it says to authorize my current computer but when I do it still does not let me play them. I simply want to select many and download to my iphone from the library. What do I need to do?

You have to use the same old Apple ID and password.
NOTE: All content bought using one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.
