How are minutes calculated?

I get 450 minutes per month. I know for a fact that I have never been on the phone more that 450 minutes or even close in any given month and yet I have gone over the limit . So how is this possible? Is there a glich? Am I getting charged a minute for me and a minute for the person I'm talking to? Am I getting charged three minutes for every minute I talk? (which is very little by the way) Or am I just getting scammed?

As a consumer, I realize unexpected charges can be frustrating and I am here to help! As anonymouslurker mentioned,  airtime is rounded up to the nearest minute and accessing your voicemail during peak hours (6am-9pm) will also use airtime. Keep in mind, you can easily manage your minutes by dialing #MIN. Did you have an opportunity to review your usage by visiting:http://bit.ly/xB4iTc ? Would you like to review some other plan options? • How are goals calculated?

    QuestionHow are goals calculated?
AnswerGoals are calculated by the number of dishes cooked and served. Each dish produces a different number of servings, however this is not related to your goal.
One fully cooked and served dish counts as one dish towards your goal.
The number of servings that each dish produces is not related to the completion of any goals.
Remember: you must also serve the dishes you cook. If a dish spoils before you serve it, this dish will not count towards completing your goal.

  • How are calories calculated?

I've been going on five mile walks and runs and no matter how long it takes me or how fast I go, it still always tells me I've burned the same number of calories (338). I know that if I run 5 miles at 6min/mile, I'm going to burn more calories than if I walk 5 miles at 14min/mile. I think that it simply goes by the distance and does not really take into account the speed. I'm very frustrated by this because I cannot really get an accuarate count of what I'm burning, which is why I really bought this in the first place.

  • Fd10n how are sales calculated ?

FD10N has a Sales column. If I double-click on a number in this column, I get a list of line items totalling to this number. How does SAP decide what to include / exclude when calculating the total. Is this configurable?
    Thanks, John

    Hi:
FD10N sales column constitute of total invoices generated through SD module..Invoices routing through SD module are reflected in FI subsidiary ledgers (FBL5N ) with some document type like RV...If you run FBL5N for a particular month all items criteria and filter document type RV and exclude its reversal if any then it should tally with FD10N sales columns..FD10N is a standard report which can not be changed..Hope it will help you.

  • How are tax calculations or tax updates handled in SAP?

We are implementing Assets and currently using a system that not only calculates the tax on depreciation but also updates any new changes to the taxes as mandated by the federal and state government.
My understanding is that SAP does not auto update the tax changes in the system unless we have a tax software, is that right?  And if we have no need for a tax software just to update depreciation tax changes, what are the options out there that will enable the new tax to be calculated and applied in SAP?
We are looking for an auto option instead of manually updating the percentage rates/tax for calculating depreciation in SAP.  Is there any software that can be interfaced to SAP that can perform this function and enable the calculation of depreciation tax?
Appreciate any input/suggestions or help in resolving this issue.
    Thanks

In AM you set-up a separate depreciation are for TAX with complete different rules as your normal depreciation. You can do with it what you want to get the correct values.
Based on your tax requirements you can set this up. If there is a specific question you can drop it on this forum:
You have option like revaluation, inflation, unplanned depreciation, write up...... When you have activated the extension AE-FIN you have some extra options.
There is not a standard for tax changes. You have to know the change and based on that to use the correct option to update the values. There are hundreds of possible changes.

  • How are APO/R3 dates calculated

    Hi All,
In APO, for a PO, we have ' Requirement date', 'Availability date' and in R3, we have reqmnt/rect date and delivery date.
How are these dates calculated from a reference?
My understanding- System takes the requirement date( date on which there is a reqmnt for the material), subtracts a time equal to GR+GI time and arrives at Availability date. the same Availability date is transferred to R3 as 'Reqmnt/Rect date'. But how is the delivery date in R3 calculated?
suppose I have a requirement date in APO, what are the details that I need to calculate successive dates?
    Regards
    Manotosh

    Hi,
I have one confusion pls. clarify.
Requirement date=Date of demand on which material is required.
Delivery date= Date of demand- planned delivery time /transportation duration
Availability date= Delivery date+GR process time.
In product veiw in APO you will see as  availability date and receipt date.

  • How are the IC's calculated in the IIR Cascade Filter with I.C. vi

How are the IC's calculated in the IIR Cascade Filter with I.C. vi

    Solved this myself.
Attached llb has subVI that computes the IC's needed to remove transient given a constant value step input to the IIR Filter.
Computes filter state (see app note 39) for cascade filter using z-transform final value theorem.
This version works for all filter types, ie lowpass, highpass, bandstop and bandpass.

Does anyone know how many minutes can be recorded on the voice memo aspect of the 3g Iphone?

  • Itunes charts- how are these charts calculated?

    how are music charts calculate?

Thanks Robert, I thought it was something like that.
On a further note, when you say 'new subscriptions', do episodes have to be fully downloaded to count?
For instance, if a user subscribes to a podcast, but for whatever reason doesn't actually finish downloading a single epsiode, would this carry the same weight as a user who subscribes and downloads five episodes of another podcast?
Further to that, do you know if users are identified from their iTunes ID, or their IP? For instance, if a three people with seperate music store accounts but on the same network were all subscribed to a podcast, would this only count once or would they each count?

  • OTC . How is freight calculated in OM header level

    Hi
We have this business scenario where Freight is calculated at order header.
But we were checking the API for that
    WSH_INTERFACE_GRP.Create_Update_Freight_Costs
This is done at Delivery or Delivery detail level.
So CANT we have freight costs at order header level???
Basically i have say 3 labels created for an order i need to generate freight for these 3 labels. Please not 3 labels DOES NOT correspond to 3 lines.
So can i create Freight lines for these 3 labels for that order header Id.
And also another question is for RETURN orders we wont have any deliveries then how are freight cost calculated

  • How is YTD calculated in bex ?

we have a requirement to calculate YTD for revenue in a report. Just want to understand if YTD is always the current year restricted to KF or we need to consider the value from the user like 0fiscper and adjust YTD, as per the user input. I mean for example if user enter input 002.2013, then the YTD will have 2013 value or still 2014 value because YTD is current year to date.
My reporting requirement is as below. red are colmns.
customer           YTD revenue              Feb 2013 ( user input value- revnue will be fetch based on user input).
But YTD will be always for current year right ? Does it depend on the user requirement ? Should I ask user or its generic, Please confirm.
    Thanks
    DR

The reason I put this thread is to find out how is YTD calculated normally in a report. Will it be always the current year data to be displayed or it depends on the requirement. Hope you would have handled YTD in your reports, can you please clarify.
Anyways' thanks a lot Anshu and Suman. You guys are experts and always provide prompt respone to me. and provide different approaches even on weekends. I appreciate it. Have awarded you guys full points. I will try your approach on monday will post you questions. I got the clear picture to display text for column heading and restrict 0fiscper for the data column. Will try YTD after you confirm or more inputs from the user.
    Thank You once again.

  • How is COGS calculated?

    Hello,
In the Sales Quotation UI we can go to Form Settings and add COGS column to the grid UI. This COGS is a calculated field. How is it calculated and when the user enters a value in this column which database table/column gets updated?
    Thanks,
    Sheetal

    Hi Sheeta Pisolkar
The COGS is calculated depending on what you are using. You can either use FIFO, Moving Average or Standerd cost. I'll explain the first two as that is the most used.
When selling a particular item, moving average looks at all the prices you paid for that item and then gets an average. Example, yesterday i buy XYZ for 100, today i buy another XYZ for 200. Then when i sell it it will use an average of 150.
FIFO stands for First In First Out. If you have serial numbers on it uses the cost linked to that item. If not it is purely First In First Out.
SBO does not store these values, it calculates it at run time. Once you invoice it the value is stored in oinm.
    Hope this helps

  • How many minutes without loss in quality?

I started using iDVD in 2003. Back then, I was told that you can put up to about 80 minutes on a DVD without any noticeable loss in quality. Based on my experiences, that seemed to be a good rule of thumb.
Have there been sufficient improvements in the encoder to allow significantly more minutes at high quality? I use iDVD for archiving and don't want to come back years later and realize that the quality was compromised. On the other hand, I don't want to waste discs with over-kill (some misguided individuals think that 60 minutes is the limit).
Message was edited by: Michael Collins3

    iDVD encoding settings:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iDVD/7.0/en/11417.html
    Short version:
Best Performance is for videos of up to 60 minutes
Best Quality is for videos of up to 120 minutes
Professional Quality is also for up to 120 minutes but even higher quality (and takes much longer)
Professional Quality: The Professional Quality option uses advanced technology to encode your video, resulting in the best quality of video possible on your burned DVD. You can select this option regardless of your project’s duration (up to 2 hours of video for a single-layer disc and 4 hours for a double-layer disc). Because Professional Quality encoding is time-consuming (requiring about twice as much time to encode a project as the High Quality option, for example) choose it only if you are not concerned abo
In both cases the maximum length includes titles, transitions and effects etc. Allow about 15 minutes for these.
You can use the amount of video in your project as a rough determination of which method to choose. If your project has an hour or less of video (for a single-layer disc), choose Best Performance. If it has between 1 and 2 hours of video (for a single-layer disc), choose High Quality. If you want the best possible encoding quality for projects that are up to 2 hours (for a single-layer disc), choose Professional Quality. This option takes about twice as long as the High Quality option, so select it only if time is not an issue for you.
Use the Capacity meter in the Project Info window (choose Project > Project Info) to determine how many minutes of video your project contains.
NOTE: With the Best Performance setting, you can turn background encoding off by choosing Advanced > “Encode in Background.” The checkmark is removed to show it’s no longer selected. Turning off background encoding can help performance if your system seems sluggish.
And whilst checking these settings in iDVD Preferences, make sure that the settings for NTSC/PAL and DV/DV Widescreen are also what you want.

  • How many minutes do an iPod to take to die

How much minutes does an iPod to take to die from a full charge?

It really depends on what you are trying to achieve.
If you simply want to know how long it will play between charges, consider what JEM has told you.
    If you want to know how long before an frozen iPod will run down the battery so that it will reset when you charge it up again;
    a.) if the display is on, then anything from a few hours to a day;
b.) if the display is not on and the iPod is unresponsive, it may take a few days to drain the battery.
If we have not yet solved the issue that brought you here, please explain what it is that you are trying to achieve.

  • I want to know how many minutes were used last billing cycle for calling

my daughter has been calling out of state a lot recently.  i want to know previous statement minutes and it also mentioned that out of area calls may not show up on bill right away. so how many minutes has she actually used this billing cycle?

If you are the account owner, you can go online and view the usage for each line on your account.  For calls, you can go back 12 months and see the history.
If she made the calls from your home area, then there should be no delay in them showing up on the bill. The delay comes if the phone is out of the home area and roaming; sometimes the information from the roaming towers takes more time to reach Verizon  computers.  Your question wasn't clear if she was simply calling an out of state number, or if she was out of state and making calls.
