How are printer issues solved by creating a new login ID in ts?

 I have been having printing issues with one user on a terminal Server. I have been trying to figure this out for some time and decided to make a new TS login ID which fixed the issue....At lest appears to have fixed the issue....
Can anyone explain to me how a user's key can leak and cause this types of issues? Or point me to a great article to educate myself...
Thanks,
Andrew
Thanks, Andrew

Hi Andrew,
à
I have been having printing issues with one user on a terminal Server.
Would you please let me know more details of this printing issue? Did you get any error message? Please also
check Event Viewer if can find some relevant events. When this one user has this printing issue, did other users encounter the same issue?
Meanwhile, would you please let me know how deploy printer for the terminal server? Did you configure printer
redirection settings for terminal server connections via Group Policy?

Based on this description, this issue seems to be related to the user profile. Just my guess.
If any update, please feel free to let me know. More details (error message, events or others) may help us
to go further analyze and narrow down this issue.
Hope this helps.

    You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup.  If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup.  You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone.  However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

  • How are we supposed to work with the new motion tweens if there's no motion editor anymore?

    How are we supposed to work with the new motion tweens if there's no motion editor anymore? Without motion editor we can't see what kind of keyframes are set and we can't set any accelerations anywhere. Does Adobe now want us to go back and use the old motion tweens?

    Hi All,
    Flash Pro CC 2014 (v 14.0.0.110) is now available for download via the Creative Cloud App.
    We have included an all new Motion Editor along with several other new features with this release of Flash Pro. The new Motion Editor is completely redesigned, intuitive and easy to use while preserving the core functionalities and backward compatibility with Flash CS6
    To Invoke the Motion Editor, simply Double-Click on your Motion Tween span on Timeline (or Right-Click and select 'Refine Motion') and the Motion Editor opens up in-context in the Timeline itself. Double-Click again to collapse once you have made your adjustments.
    Complete list of New features in Flash Pro CC 2014 is available at these links:

  • Create a new login in linked server

    Hello,
    I have 2 SQL servers that are linked. I can use this query to select some values from remote DB:
    exec sp_addlinkedserver
    @server=N'WinServer',
    @srvproduct=N'',
    @provider=N'SQLNCLI',
    @datasrc=N'10.3.0.217';
    GO
    exec sp_addlinkedsrvlogin
    @rmtsrvname='WinServer',
    @useself='false',
    @locallogin=NULL,
    @rmtuser='sa',
    @rmtpassword='123456';
    GO
    exec sp_testlinkedserver N'WinServer';
    select * from [WinServer].[MyDB].[dbo].[MyTable];
    But I want to create a new login on remote computer as below but it doesn't work:
    exec sp_testlinkedserver N'WinServer';
    -- use [WinServer].[MyDB].[dbo].[master];
    exec sp_grantlogin 'INTERNET\Domain Admins'
    How can I change authentication (add user) remotely without using "sqlcmd -S ... -U ... -P ... -q ...". Because my DB users will use this link object but they will not have  sa's password of remote computer.
    Thanks.

    Typo: Not AS, it should be AT
    EXEC ('CREATE LOGIN [INTERNET\Domain Admins]') AT Link

    Hi Chander,
    I just want to know if you are able to modify the attributes of an existing user. If not then you have been assigned the User Admin role (read only). Please check that. If yes then revert.

  • How to change SelectionColor in TLFTextFielfd created with new TLFTextField(); syntax?

    How to change SelectionColor in TLFTextFielfd created with var txtTest:TLFTextFielfd = new TLFTextFielfd(); syntax ?

    You have posted in the AS1/2 forum.  If you are using a TLFTextField, it can only be used with AS3.  You might need to repost in the AS3 forum if you truly intend to use the TLFTextField.  As far as I can see there is no SelectionColor (or selectionColor) property for the TLFTextField.
    Also, in every instance of the word you have mis-spelled it...
    "TLFTextFielfd" should be "TLFTextField"

  • HOW TO KNOW THE TCODE FOR CREATING A NEW ENTRY IN A PARTICULAR TABLE

    HI,
        CAN YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE PROCEDURE TO GET THE TCODE FOR CREATING A NEW ENTITY IN A TABLE .
       EG: IS THERE ANY PROCEDURE TO KNOW THAT IF I CREATE A NEW ENTITY IN MM01 IT WILL BE STORED IN TABLE MARA.
    THANKING YOU.

    Hi Venkata,
    If you want to know, for a given table, which transaction/program(s) will create a new record,  there is no easy procedure, other than to refer to experts who deal with these programs.
    It is possible to get a list of programs that refer to a table.  SE11, select the table, select the 'where-used' icon, select programs, execute.  You will be presented with a list of programs that read or write to that table.  From that list you would have to determine which one(s) create records, using your ABAP skills.  From those selected programs you would have to find which, if any, had a transaction assigned.
    Many tables are updated by more than one program/transaction.  Many other tables are not updated by ANY interactive transaction.
    If you ever decide to go ahead with this research, make sure you publish it.  You could probably make yourself a bit of money.

  • How do i update Apps after creating a new Apple ID?

    I created a new Apple ID to seperate my account from mmy Son's account.  We've had the same account going to two different phones since he was in Middle School - he is now in college and with iCloud I really don't want all his music and contacts etc.
    The problem is - even though I set my iPhone (3GS) to access my new account - it's not allowing me to update Apps that are currently on my phone purchased under my old account.  It asks me for the password to the old Apple ID.
    Is  there a way to update the Apps I already purchased though my new account?

    If you know the old password, it should allow you to update.
    However, if you want to redownload the app fresh, you will have to delete it from your phone first.  Also, delete it from your iTunes so it will not try to sync the old version back on.
    NOTE:  The deleting/redownload app worked for me when I switched AppleIDs, but I also wiped the phone and started with a fresh library in iTunes.  I did this because I wanted no trace of my old AppleID anywhere.  I was able to redownload apps with my new ID, and everything now is tied to my new one.

  • How are pre-named software tracks different from 'new' tracks ?

    We have these software tracks or audio tracks with names like Percussion , guitar , piano etc......how are these tracks different from a track which we make from menu as a new track ?
    Like we have various effect presets in guitar tracks is it so all these pre named tracks have some specific presets assigned ?
    or if I'm recording in a midi track it can be any name all the tracks have same parameters and a region will sound same in any of them effectwise ??

    All predefined instrument patches are having a set of suitable effects and filters assigned. YOu can see these in the "Info" panel, after you select an instrument your track. Click the "Edit" tab, and you will see, how the predfined patches differ.
    For a midi track, the sound generator will differ dependng on the instrument group, and some basic effects will be predefined, like "Compressor". YOu can click the empty bricks to add your own effects.

  • How to update purchase order when creating a new condition records

    Hi,
      We have the system configured so that whenever we update a condition record, a change pointer is generated. Then we the use of standard reports RMEBEIN4 and RMEBEIN, all open purchase order having that condition type is updated. However this only works when we update existing condition record. When we create a new condition record, this does not work even though the change pointer is created. Do the reports mentionned above works for the this case or another standard report that should be trigger.
    Thank you for your help

    hi,
    May be this is working for the conditions already existing in the info record for the PO's.  so when you have new condition record it updates only after you amend the PO with that condition and save it.

  • After creating a new login (bought computer used) and deleting the old one the 500gb hard drive only shows up as 320gb.

    So I've just purchased a mid 2011 Macbook Pro 13" used via eBay. Was advertised as having 500gb hard drive and 6gb ram. I checked the ram and it was all legit, checked the hd capacity and it was all correct as well. So I made a new login for myself and deleted the previous owner's. Now my hard drive shows up as 320gb. Even in disk utility and terminal.

    One more place to look is SYSTEM PROFILER>HARDWARE>SERIAL-ATA.  If it says 320, you have a 320GB HDD which I suspect it probably will.  They are easy to replace.
    Ciao.

  • [solved]Can't Use "New Login" Button in Xscreensaver

    My system hasn't changed much in a long time except for the occasional pacman upgrade.  I use KDM as a login manager, My wife uses KDE (and the kde screensaver), I use openbox and xscreenaver (I don't even know if it's possible to start kdescreensaver outside of KDE's environment).  Anyway, long ago, I added the appropriate line to ./xscreensaver (kdmctl reserve), and it has worked great, until very recently.  Now when my wife clicks the "new Login" button, it grays out, and does nothing else.
    This is causing me problems, as you can imagine "Why won't you just give me your password?"  Ugh.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I'll mark this "solved".
    OK, switching to KDE gave me insight into the problem:  It wasn't an Xscreensaver problem.  That let me change my Google search terms, and I found this:  https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=191512 which led back to the wiki.  This was the solution:  https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/xo … _Xorg_1.16
    I think I remember reading that specific part of the wiki, and thinking that it didn't apply to me because it "switching users" had always worked in the past.

  • SQL Server 2012 Management Studio:In the Database, how to print out or export the old 3 dbo Tables that were created manually and they have a relationship for 1 Parent table and 2 Child tables?How to handle this relationship in creating a new XML Schema?

    Hi all,
    Long time ago, I manually created a Database (APGriMMRP) and 3 Tables (dbo.Table_1_XYcoordinates, dbo.Table_2_Soil, and dbo.Table_3_Water) in my SQL Server 2012 Management Studio (SSMS2012). The dbo.Table_1_XYcoordinates has the following columns: file_id,
    Pt_ID, X, Y, Z, sample_id, Boring. The dbo.Table_2_Soil has the following columns: Boring, sample_date, sample_id, Unit, Arsenic, Chromium, Lead. The dbo.Table_3_Water has the following columns: Boring, sample_date, sample_id, Unit, Benzene, Ethylbenzene,
    Pyrene. The dbo.Table_1_XYcoordinates is a Parent Table. The dbo.Table_2_Soil and the dbo.Table_3_Water are 2 Child Tables. The sample_id is key link for the relationship between the Parent Table and the Child Tables.
    Problem #1) How can I print out or export these 3 dbo Tables?
    Problem #2) If I right-click on the dbo Table, I see "Start PowerShell" and click on it. I get the following error messages: Warning: Failed to load the 'SQLAS' extension: An exception occurred in SMO while trying to manage a service.
    --> Failed to retrieve data for this request. --> Invalid class.  Warning: Could not obtain SQL Server Service information. An attemp to connect to WMI on 'NAB-WK-02657306' failed with the following error: An exception occurred in SMO while trying
    to manage a service. --> Failed to retrieve data for this request. --> Invalid class.  .... PS SQLSERVER:\SQL\NAB-WK-02657306\SQLEXPRESS\Databases\APGriMMRP\Table_1_XYcoordinates>   What causes this set of error messages? How can
    I get this problem fixed in my PC that is an end user of the Windows 7 LAN System? Note: I don't have the regular version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 in my PC. I just have the Microsoft 2012 Shell (Integrated) program in my PC.
    Problem #3: I plan to create an XML Schema Collection in the "APGriMMRP" database for the Parent Table and the Child Tables. How can I handle the relationship between the Parent Table and the Child Table in the XML Schema Collection?
    Problem #4: I plan to extract some results/data from the Parent Table and the Child Table by using XQuery. What kind of JOIN (Left or Right JOIN) should I use in the XQuerying?
    Please kindly help, answer my questions, and advise me how to resolve these 4 problems.
    Thanks in advance,
    Scott Chang

    In the future, I would recommend you to post your questions one by one, and to the appropriate forum. Of your questions it is really only #3 that fits into this forum. (And that is the one I will not answer, because I have worked very little with XSD.)
    1) Not sure what you mean with "print" or "export", but when you right-click a database, you can select Tasks from the context menu and in this submenu you find "Export data".
    2) I don't know why you get that error, but any particular reason you want to run PowerShell?
    4) If you have tables, you query them with SQL, not XQuery. XQuery is when you query XML documents, but left and right joins are SQL things. There are no joins in XQuery.
    As for left/right join, notice that these two are equivalent:
    SELECT ...
    FROM   a LEFT JOIN b ON a.col = b.col
    SELECT ...
    FROM   b RIGHT JOIN a ON a.col = b.col
    But please never use RIGHT JOIN - it gives me a headache!
    There is nothing that says that you should use any of the other. In fact, if you are returning rows from parent and child, I would expect an inner join, unless you want to cater for parents without children.
    Here is an example where you can study the different join types and how they behave:
    CREATE TABLE apple (a int         NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY,
                        b varchar(23) NOT NULL)
    INSERT apple(a, b)
       VALUES(1, 'Granny Smith'),
             (2, 'Gloster'),
             (4, 'Ingrid-Marie'),
             (5, 'Milenga')
    CREATE TABLE orange(c int        NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY,
                        d varchar(23) NOT NULL)
    INSERT orange(c, d)
       VALUES(1, 'Agent'),
             (3, 'Netherlands'),
             (4, 'Revolution')
    SELECT a, b, c, d
    FROM   apple
    CROSS  JOIN orange
    SELECT a, b, c, d
    FROM   apple
    INNER  JOIN orange ON apple.a = orange.c
    SELECT a, b, c, d
    FROM   apple
    LEFT   OUTER JOIN orange ON apple.a = orange.c
    SELECT a, b, c, d
    FROM   apple
    RIGHT  OUTER JOIN orange ON apple.a = orange.c
    SELECT a, b, c, d
    FROM   apple
    FULL OUTER JOIN orange ON apple.a = orange.c
    go
    DROP TABLE apple, orange
