1. Asynchronous Messages in XI are stored in database permanently
2. After processing the message, Integration Engine makes a datbase commit explicitly and the processed message is stored in the database.\
3. Async Messages can be restarted when they go into error
4. Asynchrous messages while being sent if there is some problem in connectivity or something the message persists and when the connection is up,it tries to send it again

When target DB is down in which table is the data from source is stored, also where are the error messages stored in ODI( I am not getting any error message in E$_TARGET_ANI_TEST).
When i am running the interface i am getting the below error against the errored step
"ORA-01045: user ABC lacks CREATE SESSION privilege; logon denied."
Only E$_TARGET_ANI_TEST is created with no data. No such tables like C$_0TARGET_ANI_TEST, I$_TARGET_ANI_TEST are created and also data is not inserted in the target table TARGET_ANI_TEST.

I have checked that only E$ table is created. C$ and I$ table are not created ( I have selected my target schema as the part for the staging table).
All the parameters for dropping the tables are selected as "<default>:false".

How are the pWWN list populated in DCNM even before they are logged-in to the switch?

I see that the hosts are not logged-in to the switch, however via DCNM when I try to create device alias I find the pWWNs populated which are not logged-in. How are the pWWN list populated in DCNM even before they are logged-in to the switch?

This is definitely not happening automatically ? would be magic ! you can do it of course manually.

Solved this myself.
Attached llb has subVI that computes the IC's needed to remove transient given a constant value step input to the IIR Filter.
Computes filter state (see app note 39) for cascade filter using z-transform final value theorem.
This version works for all filter types, ie lowpass, highpass, bandstop and bandpass.

Discoverer summary tables are stored as materialized views in the database. The database refreshes the MV depending on how the MV refresh has been set up.

You can try to extract them to a folder and then try to install using the setup file.
Or you can try to download the .exe file ( Small File ) for the software you have and then run the .exe file and it will start the installation. Both .exe and .7z file for the application should be in same location.

How are the "FaceTime" graphics? Are the video calls clear quality? and is it free?

The FaceTime graphics are good depending on your wifi strength. Especially in iOS 7, the graphics are much better. However, if you have bad wifi or signal strength, then it will lag and be a bit blurry.

So how are the new iMacs? (Reviews, sightings, etc)

I've been scouring the 'Net for any information about the new Intel iMacs, but hardly a peep from anyone that I've seen. I'm specifically looking for information on the new 24, but any info will do.
Are they quiet? Fast?

There is little info on these new Macs. Please, someone post at least a first impression introductory review.
Any info/pics that anyone can share would be greatly appreciated. I've set up RSS with Flickr, Digg, Google news and the iMac discussions and I've seen 3 different 24" unpacking photo sets with what seems to be cell phone quality snapshots and 0 reviews.
Someone fill us in and post some quality shapshots so we can see how big this thing is!

Sorry to hear about that however once Apple ships the product it's in the hands of the shipper and Apple loses all control the same as Dell, HP, Acer etc... All the manufacturer's go to great lengths to ensure machines are packaged adequately so they can take the rigors shippers put them through however there are always going to be individual cases where contents are damaged. For example most computer manufactures make their packaging so the computers can be dropped from 10 or more feet onto a concrete floor. However there is no way they can protect a box if it's kicked in or crushed.
If she bought the computer from Apple's online store simply call AppleCare, explain the issue and they will arrange for a replacement. If it was purchased from another vendor and shipped to you then you will have to deal with that vendor's return policy.
Either way it's a shame and I'm sorry it happened to you and your daughter but rest assured it's a rare exception.

I am trying to wrap a vc++ dll in jni.
Frankly,I a novice in VC++ and all the COM stuff.I just have a ready made VC++ code,I wish to use in my project.
The VC++ dll;sends and receives asynchrounous messages,defined in the VC++ "MESSAGE MAPs".
I wish to wrap this using JNI.I dont know WHERE to start and defintely am clueless as to HOW.
ANy...any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

My questions on this subject are so many that I am unable to pinpoint what exactly I want to know:)
After I received your answer I went back and did some homework on COM.
So armed with this new knowledge,I will try once more.
Scenario:
1. I have a VC++ dll,which I intend to use from a java application.
Therefore,I use JNI to wrap this dll.
2.
There is some COM code that needs to be wrapped as well.
I understand that this COM code will allow my java client application to receive message notifications asynchronously.
3.
I see now that I need to spun two seperate threads in JNI to handle this problem.
Thread 1: to initialize COM and to wait for messages from the server.
Thread 2:to do the other Application stuff.
QUESTIONS:
a. Am I right so far? :)
b. How does thread 1 communicate with Thread 2 on receiving a message?

How will I know, if the asynchronous message fails in XI? Acknowledgment?

I have a FILE->XI->FILE scenario and sometimes the inbound message failsin XI (bad structure or whatever esle).. Is it possible to receive some message, that the original message failed?
I have read topics about acknowledgments, but I didn't find it out, where to configure it.
Could you give me some advice, how to set it up in my scenario?

first go to the Integration Builder: Configuration
access by, the design -> Environment -> Integration Builder(Configuration).
1. Go to Scenarios
2. Create a new Configuration Scenario by rightclick and NEW
3. choose language and save
4. on the left tree choose your created scenario
5. choose Receiverdetermination
6. Enter Service = sender System
7. Choose Interface = your Interface File(Structure) from Design
8. Choose Namespace if not filled
9. create
10. open the new Receiverdetermination
11. tab"Configured Receivers" enter Service = receiving System and maybe a condition
12. save
13. Tab"Configuration Overview for Receiver Determination" open the new Receiver Service. The should be a text like "not defined".
14. click at thew first symbol(Interface Determination) Dropdown and select new
15. go on with create
16. choose Inbound Interface and Mapping
17. save and close
18. Goto ReceiverAgreement and click at NEW from the symbol-line.
19. go on with create
20. enter sender Service and communication channel
21. save, activate and good luck
